Thinkstation D20 Sleep Crash - Blinks for two seconds and then powers off entirely.

Hi there.
Here's the scoop. I have a Lenovo D20, 12 core, 64gb ram, etc. The box is perfectly fine. I've reinstalled windows and i'm missing a very important install file...
There was a Microsoft Hotfix to fix a Sleep crash when the system attempted to write sleep files to drives attached to the Marvell RAID controller, the symptom of this was the machine would go to sleep, the power light would blink normally and then 2 seconds later the system would power off completely and have to be cold booted. Needless to say windows was not happy with this before long.
By chance I came across an post on this board somwhere that said to download a Microsoft Hotfix for Windows 7 that fixed this EXACT issue, i did, and it did... I saved the file somewhere special, and then promptly forgot where i put it for future use... Needless to say, i'd really like to get my hands on it as my computer isn't happy with the shut downs. (I disabled sleep, but i pay for my power!).
Both of my D20's, (I'm an afficionado) have had this issue but i seem to have lost the patch. I have searched and searched and i just can't seem to find it!

It sounds like iTunes launches for a split second, then quits unexpectedly.
I would recommend a few things for this issue. First, close all the running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that, sign out of your iTunes account in Settings > iTunes and App stores, and restart the phone:

If the issue persists, I would next backup your device to iTunes, and restore it:

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

I've tried my best to troubleshoot. . . opening in safe mode nothing seems to work.

Macbook Pro freezes, shuts off for 10 seconds, and then returns to normal

My 13.3" Macbook Pro has this issue of shutting off for 10 seconds and then turns back on to normal. Usually it happens whenever I wake the laptop with the lid open, whenever I open the lid "too fast" from clam shell sleep, and whenever I reopen the lid after when I realized that I needed to check something else. Every time I start using the Macbook Pro from these situations, everything works fine for about 20 seconds and then suddenly everything freezes and shuts off temporarily. Then after about 10 seconds, everything turns back on again. I do not know why this occurs, but I had this issue the 3rd week I purchased this. Is this a normal thing or is this an issue with possibly the motherboard?

Same thing happened to me today. I wasn't even using the phone for the past 6 hours and suddenly I can't connect to the internet, none of my internet apps would work - nothing. I tried to call AT&T from the iphone and it locked up - couldn't turn it off, change to the home screen - nada - brick.
Did the Home/Power button thing and that worked but this I've only had this phone for about 4 weeks and it's locked up more times than my 3GS did the whole two years I had it! Ridiculous

Have you recently deleted photos using the finder or run clean up software? Is so restore your backup
If not the backup your iPhoto Library and launch iPhoto while depressing the option and command keys. Rebuild your database

Have you upgraded to iPhoto 9.6 for compatibility with Yosemite? If not, try that first.
It looks like iPhoto has lost the connection between the thumbnails and the original image files.
This can be caused by a corrupted iPhoto library, or the originals have been deleted or moved.
Try first to rebuild your iPhoto Library:
If you do not have a current backup of the iPhoto library, make a copy of the library, but do not overwrite any previous backup.
Launch iPhoto with the ⌥⌘-key combination (option-command) held down.
Select "rebuild" from the first aid panel. This may take a while for a large library.
Can you now see your photos again?
If not, rebuild the library with iPhoto Library manager as described by Old Toad: Re: iphoto crashed
