Third party headphones on 6303

Hi all, this is my first post here.
I'm considering signing up for an attractive deal through Carphone Warehouse for the Nokia 6303.  Read the reviews, which seem ok to me. I was just wondering, though- will I be able to use my own headphones to hear radio with this phone?
My current (awful) Samsung has a proprietary connection for its headphones. I got a little adapter which works fine for MP3s but won't allow radio reception. Is this likely to be the case with the 6303, even though it's got a standard 3.5 mm jack?
What's the sound quality/comfort like of the supplied headphones?
Also, has anyone transferred music to one of these from a Mac (OS X)? Any hassles?
Thanks in advance for you advice!

they should work with adaptor and allow the radio to work, the earphones in nokia packages are not great ,this would depend on the individual also myself been use to using good earphones in comparison to nokias, the shop should let you test the phone before purchase and you can test yourself
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.
Now using the Lumia 1520

  • Third-party headphones which work?

Does anyone know of third-party in-ear headphones with mic and control button which actually work with iPhone 4? I'm getting a sinking feeling that I either have to spend a huge amount of money or else wait for months for the manufacturers to catch up.

I love my Skullcandy "fullmetaljacket" headphones; inline mic, control button....all of it. Also they are noise reducing and have amazing bass.
And they have that thin little jack so you can even use them on the old phones with the recessed jacks, should you ever need to.
I have the same ones and they are great. Almost indestructible.

  • Do third party replacement tips fit on the apple in ear headphones? I prefer foam tips as they block out much more sound, but I'm not sure if Apple use the standard fitting for headphone tips!?!?!?!

Answer found. Please find below an amazon review explicitly mentioning adding third party foam tips. Sounds like they fit and work like a dream:
"As a audio engineer, I own about a dozen different sets of earphones and in-ear 'phones. My favorite, by far, are my sure SE530s. I have some Sennheiser cx400s which are good workhorses, but lack the finesse, clarity and stunning accuracy of the Shures. For convenience, I bought the Apple's, as I wanted something I could use with the phone for calls.
I found the sound to be quite clear and beautifully clean, but like many, no matter how I tried, the stock Apple tips never made a good seal. The seal is absolutely essential to getting bass out of a balanced armature design. For you non-engineers, just trust me that if you don't have a proper seal, you will have no bass.
In my case, I think the trouble had to do with the largest size being a tiny bit too small, and the silicon being too rigid, yet slick, so they left small airgaps and were easy to remove. I tried using some foam tips from a third party, but their large was more of a medium, and never came close to a snug fit.
As an experiment, I dug around in my ear-tips from my Shure's and tried their rubber tips which are about the same size as Apple's large tips, but made of a more pliant and slightly sticky rubber.
OMG, what a transformation. Suddenly the sound blossomed, the bass became rich and well balanced, and the "top-heavy" sound was totally mellowed into a rich, well balanced and incredibly detailed presentation.
Make no mistake, these are the best 'phones under $200 I have ever heard. The bass is deep and warm, very detailed, and totally lacking fuzz or buzz that I can hear in the Sennheiser set. Look at getting tips from a better headphone. The trick is it has to have a soft rubber base that can expand over Apple's slightly larger stub. Some tips, like the Shure foam tips, have a rigid plastic sleave in the tip to keep it's position correct, and these won't expand over the larger Apple posts."

  • No Audio on some third party apps?

I just recently bought my iPad 2. I loaded most of my apps, music, movies onto the device as you would with any new toy. But now some third party apps do not have audio. I tried Angry Birds RIO HD, Angry Birds, etc. nothing. When I use Garageband and iMovie the speaker and headphones work fine. Any one have suggestions?

I solved the problem. I must have switched from Mute to Lock Rotation while playing an app so it freaked out the iPad, all I had to do was switch back turn it on and off and it worked!

  • My wireless earbuds work just fine, but some third-party apps play audio only through the iPod speaker even though the buds are properly connected.

My wireless earbuds work just fine, but some third-party apps play audio only through the iPod and iPhone speaker even though the buds are properly connected. Does anyone know why and is there a solution?

Assuming you are using Bluetooth headphones, do the apps have the option to use Bluetooth?
The app should have an option to select the speaker (or wired earphones) or the Bluetooth headphones.

  • Automatic po creation third party order

    Hello Gurus,
In case of automatic po creation from third party order we have attach purchase organization and vendor to sales organization. This restrict only one vendor against sales organization.
Is any BADI available which we can use which to change vedor dynamically ?
    Best Regards,

    Dear Vasant,
For automatic PO at the time of GR following are the prerequisites:
    1) In Customizing
    a) Auto PO generation must be activated in Mov. Type 101 & 161
    b) the plant for which GR is entered must be assigned to standard Pur. Org.
    c) Default Document type for PO must be specified in GR ( MB 01)
    2) Application - Front end side
    a) material must be valuated material
    b) Purchasing Info record must exist for vendor , material & standard Pur Org.
    c) Conditions in Info Records must be valid.
    d) Applicable for stock items & not consumable items
    e) you cannot enter any movement in GR block stock
    f) Material Master & vendor master records must.
If you ensure all above settings then it is possible to have auto PO during GR.
    Please try,
    Vivek

  • Stock is increased and FI entry is posted in statistical GR for third party

    Hello
I was trying to activate the functionalty for statistical GR in third party but STUCK due to following issues. For enabling this functionaltity I have checked "Goods Reciept" and "GR Non-Valuated" check in "Delivery tab" of PO.
         1. After creating Statistical GR through MIGO (101), stock has been posted in plant. I was expecting no movement in Stock .
         2. I was hoping there should not be in FI posting but FI entry is posted through statistical GR .
We are using third party process from many years but without statistical GR. Requirement from client is to post statistical GR without FI entry and no stock should be updated. Please advise if anyone has idea on this.
FYI--We have item category TAS and schedule line category CS in customisation. Also advise if above two settings in PO are enought to turn ON the statistical GR functionality.
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards

    Thanks AKPT for reply

Refer following SDN thread, by that you will be able to get overview on best practices about Third Party Sales & necessary configuration you need to follow for statistical GR:

  • Billing in Third party order process

    Hi,
In the last stage of TPO Process we need to do billing.kINDLY inform what is the reference document when we want to do billing for a third party order process in VF01, Is it sales order?

    Hi,
    In the Third Party processing,
You refer the Sales order for creating the Billing document to the end customer
In the Item category level of the Third party, one field which control the Billing relevance
If you check the BILLING RELEVANCE for TAS item category, it is F which says, the billing will be based on the MIRO ( vendor invoice)
In general for Third Party, Vendor will directly send material/Goods to the customer and that notification will be sent to the company.
If say, out of 10 PO items, Vendor has send only 5 quantity to the customer and we have to bill the customer for only 5 quantities so once the billing is generated it will refer to the invoice quantity of the MIRO
    Hope it is clear,
    regards,
    santosh

  • Free of charge third party process.

    Dear Gurus,
I want to create a sales order with a third party material with zero price, create a PO and invoice the PO with zero value.
Could you please tell me how this can be achieved and what are the necessary settings in config to be changed?
    Thank You
    Kumar

    Hi Kumar,
the third party process is as follows:
1.Customer will order the material from the Company X.
2.Company X will not have stock of the material.
3.Company will raise a PO for the material to the Vendor & asks the Vendor to deliver the material to the customer.
4.Vendor will directly deliver the material to the customer & will send the invoice to the Company X.
    5. Company X will then raise a invoice to the Customer wrt on the Sales order.
Create a Sales order with item category TAS, Schedule line category CS(standard).Once the SO is saved, go to the change mode of the SO, go to Schedule lines tab, & note down the PR number.
With reference to the PR, create the PO & then MIGO and MIRO.
Then create the invoice wrt the SO.
Let me know if you hav any problems.
    Regards,
    MP

  • Credit Check with Third Party Process

    Hi Gurz,
I know about third party process but my problem is with credit check of the customers.
If customer has not got enough credit limit to process the order in normal senario credit controller has to manually release the order as system blocks it. In third party process system will give you warning message when saving sales order about customer credit limit but allows you to save sales order. Once saving sales order it authomatically creates Purchase Requisition. From PR purchasing creates P.O. with out knowing about customer credit limit issue. and so on. In other words goods supplied to customer even though credit limit has exceeded. This user don't know untill raising the invoice to the customer which is too late.
Can we stop creating Purchase requisition or block purchase requistion for credit check ? or there are better way of handling the process for credit check?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Try to implement OSS note -738171 - Delivery block does not influence purchase requisition.
    Following is the details of the note;
    Summary
    Symptom
The delivery block in a sales order does not prevent the generattion of the purchase requisition in a third-party or individual purchase order item. Regardless of the Customizing settings in the delivery block, the system confirms the TAB or TAS item and generates the purchase requisition.
    More Terms
Order, purchase requisition, PReq, TAB, individual purchase order, individual purchase order item, TAS, third-party, third-party item, SD order, delivery block, VBAK-LIFSK, VBEP-LIFSP
    Cause and Prerequisites
    Solution
Create a user-specific user requirement (for example, 902: BEDINGUNG_PRUEFEN_902 in Include LV07A902) as a copy of standard user requirement 102 and assign it to requirement 'Preq' by using Transaction OVB5.
In the source code of the user-requirement, program a check for the delivery block which, if necessary, triggers an ERROR_EXCEPTION which prevents the generation of the purchase requisition.
You can use the existing check for the credit block as a template.
