Third party IPMI/SOL KVM Tools

Hello,
Is there any IPMI /SOL based  third party KVM tools available to logon to UCS blades?
I am not planning to use inbuilt UCS KVM tools since I don't want to create UCS user for KVM access to certain users- Who also gets readonly access to UCS environment.  I am planning to give certain users only rights to reboot server and no read only access to UCS.
Thanks

  • No of classes, Methods, Lines of codes, DLL's used and Third Party Libraries details identifying tools

We have started a project to migrate 100+ Web Applications developed using legacy Microsoft technologies to latest .Net 4.5 Framework.
The following are the planned migration approach
    Classic Asp à
    Asp.Net 1.1 Framework à Asp.Net 4.5 Framework
    Asp.Net 2.0, 3.5, 4.0 Framework à         Asp.Net 4.5 Framework (Direct Migration)

    using MVC/Entity Framework)
    VB 6 (COM/DCOM) à
    C# .Net 4.5 (Web Services)
We have to analyze 100+ applications to categorize them as Simple/Medium/Complex conversions for planning the timeline for completing the migration activities.
Analysis includes identifying the following details - No of classes, Methods, Lines of codes, DLL’s used and Third Party Libraries  details
    for 100+ Microsoft applications.
Could you please let me know do we have any effective tool to identify above mentioned details?

This forum is for Microsoft Project Server, an EPM tool. You will need to find a more suitable forum for your question.
    Good Luck with the conversion!

  • Connecting third party motor to p7000 tools

    Hi,
I have a vexta PK245-011AA stepper motor and I'm trying to control it with a P70350 drive via P7000 tools software. When I enter the specification of the motor in the "Stepper Motor/Motor File Editor" menu and select my motor configuration (see attached file), the drive becomes disabled, with status "Open motor phase" and the led is blinking red. I tried lowering the current, but the drive is still disable.
All the dip switches of the drive are turned off. The cables of the motor are wired as per the operating manual diagram (there are 6 wires, I only wire 4 wires as follow: A=black, A_bar=green, B=red, B_bar=blue).
Any ideas what the problem could be?
    Thank you,
    Marc
    Solved!

Found the problem: it seems that the wire diagrams was wrong. After checking the resistance between the wires I founded that the 2 sets of wires per  phase were Blue-White-Green and Red-Black-Orange, with White and Black being center tap, thanks to this NI page

  • Third Party Tools To Upgrade WSS 3.0 to SharePoint Foundation 2013?

Since you cannot upgrade WSS 3.0 directly to SharePoint Foundation 2013 using just the SharePoint software, I wanted to look at 3rd party tools that automate the migration directly to 2013 without requiring an intermediate upgrade to 2010.
We have a simple WSS 3.0 farm with 2 SharePoint Servers and 2 SQL servers that are are load balanced so that the site stays up if any one of the servers goes down.  It may be just round robin load balancing.
I'd like to see if I can determine if any of these migration tools would save enough time and effort for this type of environment to be worth the cost.  It would be nice if we could do the upgrade all in once day instead of having 2 outages.

HI,There are third party tools to upgrade sharepoint but not from wss 3.0 to directly sharepoint 2013.Its not at all possible as I know. Please find the below link that clearly explains the Upgrade process.
    http://expertsharepoint.blogspot.de/2014/03/sharepoint-up-gradationmoss2007.html
Anil Avula[MCP,MCSE,MCSA,MCTS,MCITP,MCSM] See Me At: http://expertsharepoint.blogspot.de/
It looks like there are such products.
This one says it can be used to migrate directly from even WSS 2.0 to SharePoint 2013.
    http://www.fpweb.net/sharepoint-2013/migrate-sharepoint-2003-to-sharepoint-2013/
I don't like that it doesn't indicate anything about pricing on the page so you have to call a sales rep and give away all your contact information before you can get a quote.  I probably will not call them.
We would "like" to speed up the migration process and have only a single outage, but since the SharePoint environment is small, we will not be spending thousands of dollars just to save having to do two upgrades.  We would probably end up just
going to 2010 and canceling the 2013 upgrade if needed.

  • Error while creating the proxy object to connect to a third party tool.

    Hi,
I tried creating a proxy object with the wsdl file. I even created a HTTP connection to the third party tool. but when I try to execute the whole proxy object, I am getting the below error. Can anyone help me on this?
    "Proxy-Generierung: Fehler aufgetreten"
"Incorrect value: Entity "<<document>>"(92 /3788 ). end tag 'ul' does not match begin tag 'p'"
    Thanks & Regards,
    Veerabhadra Rao A.

do a check on the wsdl file and how you are passing values in the proxy. The tags for XML are not correct. Open the WSDL in IE and see there must be an error. Or probably when passing the actual values to the XML generated each element is not closed properly. Error says tags dont match.

  • Third party tool which can create infosets in SAP R/3

Hi All, Is there any third party tool that could create infosets in ECC for reporting. We integrated crystal reports with ECC and want to create queries using infosets and make use of BAPI's. There are several 100's of reports to be developed and we are afraid we might make mistakes when we have to join all the tables in ECC during infoset creation. We are hoping to find a third party tool that could do this or has infosets that could be used.

  • What are the third party tools available for Encryption in Oracle database?

    Dear All,
Can you please help me with the below question?
What are the third party tools available for Encryption in Oracle database? Please let me know if you know their feedback and also licensing/cost information

Why would you spend money to purchase a third-party tool that will be, almost by definition, less secure than the tools inside the product you already own and paid for?
    http://www.morganslibrary.org/reference/pkgs/dbms_crypto.html
But were I to have any to recommend one I would not do so without knowing information you seem to consider unimportant such as:
    1. Operating system
    2. Database edition and version
    3. What type of data needs to be secured
    4. What level of security is required

  • CONNECT ORACLE11g database in sharepoint 2013 without using metaman or any third party tool

    Hi!
I want to access ORACLE db and bring it as an external list  in SharePoint 2013. How can it be achieved without using third party tools? So far i referred Creating
web service, .Net connectivity assembly or crafting the BCS xml model file manually are the techniques that can be employed to achieve. Can anyone share the code to create External content type and External list by adopting any one of the techniques.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
To connect SharePoint to your Oracle Database, you should use the BCS.
You will find here what is the structure of the XML File to create to access your Oracle DB.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/ff464424(v=office.14).aspx
Once you finished your BDCM, you will be able to import it with the following mehod :
    http://www.manula.com/manuals/lightning-tools/bcs-meta-man-for-windows/1/en/topic/importing-the-bdc-model-into-sharepoint
The last step will be to create your external list from your BDCM.

  • Third-Party User Management Tools

I'm looking for recommendations for third-party user management tools that can do the following:
    - Identify and bulk-expire/no visibility users that are inactive for >XXX days
    - Identify users with auto-forward rules
    - Bulk-delete inactive accounts (from GW database only, not eDirectory accounts)
    - Maybe even bulk-move inactive/expired accounts to a "dead accounts" post office?
I have an immediate mandate to clean up our environment, and I don't see how to do this in bulk with existing native tools. It's just one guy (me) versus 42 post offices and 23,000 user accounts...
    Thanks!

You can create your own tools using the GroupWise Administrative Object API and the GroupWise Object API.
Please refer to the Cool Solutions article I wrote ( shameless self promotion ) "Scripting GroupWise" - Scripting GroupWise | Novell User Communities for more information on the GroupWise Admin API. I suggest that you modify the script listUser.vbs to include domain name ( GWUser.PostOffice.Domain.Name ) , post office name ( GWUser.PostOffice.Name ), visibility ( GWUser.Visibility ) and last login date ( GWUser.MailboxLastLoginDate). You will need to run an audit report on each post office to update the MailboxLastLoginDate property. Import the output into Excel and sort / filter accordingly for analysis.
Setting an expiration date ( MailboxExpDate ) and / or visibility ( Visibility ) is done by assigning values to the respective properties and using the commit method - e.g GWUser.Commit
Identifying accounts with auto-forward rules can be using GroupWise Object to log into each account using a trusted application key. I posted ( more shameless self promotion ) some sample code to list proxy access in another thread - https://forums.novell.com/novell-pro....html#poststop. It is not too difficult to modify the code to iterate through rules and select those that include the action forward.
Deleting is be done using the the delete method - e.g. GWuser.Delete(eadGW) where eadGW is constant with the value 1.
I would advise against using the Administrative Object API to automate moving accounts. Best practices to avoid problems during moves involve running GWCheck against user objects until there are no errors. I perform structure, contents, contents with attclip and contents with deldupfolders checks until there are no error before moving accounts. There is also the issue of how many simultaneous moves the post office agents can handle. More accurately it is the number of simultaneous purges on the source post office that need to be monitored.
If you need more help with coding let me know.
    Sincerely,
    Bryan Vandenberg

  • Open hub Destinations - Third-Party Tools As Destinations

Dear all, below is the SAP Help process flow steps. I am quiet clear of all the steps except the APIs. Where do we define these APIs? When it says "You use API RSB_API_OHS_DEST_SETPARAMS to define the parameters for the third-party tool that are required for the extraction" where do I use it? Is it in the 3rd party tool? or is it in SAP BI.
If it is in 3rd party tool, where in 3rd party tool. Do I need to write as code ? or would I have an option in the 3rd party tool?
If someone can help me with Microsoft connector using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services packages to SAP BI that would be helpful.
Where in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services packages can I use/put this APIs? Any help Plzz
If it is in SAP BI where in SAP BI do I have to use these APIs? Any help is highly appreciated
    Regards,
    KK
    Process Flow:
Extraction to the third-party tool can be executed as follows:
           1.      You define an open hub destination with Third-Party Tool as the destination type.
           2.      You create an RFC destination for your third-party tool and enter it in the definition of the open hub destination.
           3.      You use API RSB_API_OHS_DEST_SETPARAMS to define the parameters for the third-party tool that are required for the extraction.
           4.      You either start extraction immediately or include it in a process chain. You can also start this process chain from the third-party tool using process chain API RSPC_API_CHAIN_START. The extraction process then writes the data to a database table in the BI system.
           5.      When the extraction process is finished, the system sends a notification to the third-party tool using API RSB_API_OHS_3RDPARTY_NOTIFY.
           6.      The extracted data is read by API RSB_API_OHS_DEST_READ_DATA.
           7.      The status of the extraction is transferred to the monitor by API RSB_API_OHS_REQUEST_SETSTATUS.

It's been a along time since i worked with open hub, but here goes:
The Third Party tool needs parameters or switches to work correctly. Think of the old DOS commanda the  "/a" "/b" suffix.
The APIs are simply a way to pass these parameters from the BW source to the Third Party target.
If your tool does not need them, don't worry about them.

  • Third party setup and config softs, utils and tools.

    Hello everyone,
I found, as expected, a lot of If-Then-ElseIfs in setting up servers, sure there's the worksheets, hords of PDF and Docs, video trainings, but what's more interactive?
Example: For FileMaker Pro, there are third party softwares like WiM's Analyzer which gives new insights to FMP.
Where are compared sets of soft, utils and tools for Mac OS X Server Tiger and/or Leopard?
I searched out but still feel I haven't found the "Why did I not get this in the first place" list of things.

Maybe my question is too general or the answers already on the web.
My best wish is to find a software in which that I could drag and drop computers, airports, other switches and OSes and click on it to configure in order to design networks, server and clients, Mac, Win and friends.
    The Visio cousin somehow.
I received Leopard server today. Oh joy!

  • Integration of ChaRM with third party tools

    Hi all,
We are in the process of building the solution for Change Request Management implementation integrated with third party tool.
As the normal process for ChaRM is to work with the Service Desk functionality (to raise a ticket, then support message, change request, change document etc...), but what we need is create the change request, and change document directly with ChaRM without using the Service Desk functionality.
Did anybody come across this situation?
    Please share your experience.
    Thanks in advance.
    Balaji

    Hi Balaji,
there is no problem, as I understand, you want to use ChaRM without Service Desk. OK, than you create directly a Change Request in CRMD_ORDER, the transaction type you have to select is SDCR (standard transaction type), you have to approve it and then you can create a change document, it is not necessary that you start with a Service Desk ticket like SLFN.
You need configured TMS a SolMan Project with a Maintenance Cycle, thats it (but this is enough , don't forget the customizing).
I hope I understood you correct
    Udo
