Third Party Mail Client with Applescript/Rules

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a solid third party email client for 10.9 that supports Gmail and can start applescripts when certain rules are met.
We've been using Apple Mail for the last few years with a dummy gmail account that triggers applescripts when emails with certain subjects come in. However since updating to 10.9, the rules aren't always starting, and because of the new way gmail folders/labels are handled, they are running multiple times. We're currently running 10.9.1.
Thanks!

  • App specific password for third party mail client

I have the mail client both in my iPhone and iPad, when I use app specific password, it kicks me out from one of them. I tried using 2 different app specific passwords, still kicking me out. Is is really like this?

So far the app specific passwords were only required for 3rd party apps, not for "Apple apps". Not sure why you cannot use trusted device verification for iMessage and FT like on the App store or iTunes. or on Apple TV.
Having to generate a different  app specific password for every device that uses iMessage or FT is a pain, but I guess the powers that be at Apple feel it is more secure.

  • Lync integration with Third-Party mail server's

    Hi all,
Does Lync integrates with any third party mail servers?
Or it integrates only with Exchange Server?
    Regards,
    ArunKumar.J

Agree with Thamara.  Exchange is the only platform supported for presence as well as voice functionality.  The client uses EWS to communicate with the server to check calendar integration, nothing else is going to mimic this properly enough to
    avoid issues.

  • Can't sign in using any 3rd party email client with my iCloud account on any Mac. Tried every settings, My iCloud only works with Mail.app

Can't sign in using any 3rd party email client with my iCloud account on any Mac or any other Mac. My iCloud will only work with Mail.app. All the clients I tried work perfectly well as long as I sign in with somebody else's iCloud account. But mine won't work no matter the client (Postbox, Unibox, Airmail...) and no matter the computer.
I can access my account on iCloud.com, but I can't use email clients without getting error messages prompting me to check my password or login.
I was able to use those clients in the past but a couple of months ago I got logged out of Airmail and the issue started just like that!
I tried every possible mail server settings including the following:
IMAP information for the incoming mail server
    Server name: imap.mail.me.com
    SSL Required: Yes
If you receive errors when using SSL, try using TLS instead.
    Port: 993
Username: The name part of your iCloud email address (for example, emilyparker, not [email protected])
    Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP information for the outgoing mail server
    Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
    SSL Required: Yes
If you receive errors when using SSL, try using TLS instead.
    Port: 587
    SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
Username: Your full iCloud email address (for example, [email protected], not emilyparker)
    Password: Your iCloud password

Those are the correct settings, and they work with any email client that supports Imap.
    Try again.

  • How can I use an iCloud email alias in Mailbox or other third party mail apps?

I have an iCloud email address, but prefer to use one of my aliases for sending messages. Third-party email clients like Mailbox don't seem to recognize these aliases. Has anyone had luck here, or are iCloud aliases Mail.app-only animals?

Mailboxes will handle aliases in Gmail, but not iCloud (no idea if that is in the works or not). Boxer makes no mention of aliases specifically for iCloud, but does support them in general.  I prefer Mailbox, but Boxer is a decent app.

  • How to make SVE a visible OPC server to third party OPC clients?

I've read SVE works as an OPC sever, but when I try to browse it with a third-party OPC client I get no items.
Is there any configuration needed? Is DSC needed?

    Hi Keptat
DCOM shouldn’t be the problem because you are not using the OPC server from an external computer or from other PC user, nevertheless, you can always try to do it.
I’m attaching some links with information about the DCOM privileges and how to configure de SVE.
Are you able to see others OPC servers with your clients?

  • Connect Labwindows to third party OPC client by datasocket

    Hi
I have a computer that collect RTUs data through GPRS with Labwindows (simple TCP socket) and aving them. I want to use this data in a third party SCADA application by using third party OPC client. Actually I want to use datasocket to send data to datasocket OPC server (publisher is labwindows) and third party OPC client read it by connecting to datasocket OPC server.
    1. The question is is it possible at all?
    2. Which OPC server in Datasocket I should choose? ( DaqOPC, OPCDemo, OPCFieldPoint,...)
Sorry if they were basic questions.

    Naderus,
While I dont know all of the caveats that may come with a few of the acronyms in there, in general, you absolutely can use datasockets via an OPC server. Probably the easiest to use are network shared variables (which are an OPC server). I did notice you had another thread going here. Did you have any luck with the examples and help files they forwarded you to there?

  • Default iPhone mail or third party mail apps

which one do you guys think consumes more battery? iPhone default mail app (push)... or third party mail apps that is constantly receiving mail whenever available?

to print on a printer one require an interface this interface can be a driver or if the device follow
    an interface like airprint
since ipad don't have 3th party drivers there are
    the 2 options of
1 getting a printer which support airprint
2 a 3th party app from the printer maker
the airport express can never help you unless you expcet the user to be able to install printer drivers from canon on the airport express itself
the fact that conon dont have an printing app which works with your printer is canons fault not much apple can do about that
    take it up with canon
my wifi printer from samsung works fine with printing from the free app samsung released to the app store

  • Has anyone managed to create an email account on the OS X mail client with Exchange 2007?

    Hi guys,
the IT chaps of my new employer tell me that it is impossible to use the OS X mail client with Exchange 2007 servers. Is that correct? If so, does anyone know a workaround?

No workaround needed, open Mail, Contacts and Calendars (in System Preferences) select Exchange, enter your email address and password, opt to setup Contacts and Calendars as well as mail and hit enter. That should set it up (assuming your apparently witless IT dept has setup the autodiscover record correctly at their end)

  • Probably incredibly simple question, so sorry. I have just changed e-mail after many many years and I want to e-mail everyone in my mac mail client with the new e-mail address at the same time.

If you are using Address Book, open it, create a new Group, select all you contacts by click the top one while holding down the shift key and then select the last one. Drag the contacts to the group, then send an e-mail to the group.

  • Third party sales along with subcontracting.

    Dear Experts,
Currently in our company we are having a scenario for third party sales along with subcontracting. the scenario is as explained under.
    Company
    A                                   B                                  C, D, E (vendors)
A raises a PO to B for the purpose of procurement of material X and services Y .
B generates a Sales Order against A's PO and performs procurement of material X
from vendor C. C delivers the goods directly to A and invoices B.
Now here the requirement is that material X is common in company A & B and I need to maintain
the consumption and valuation of material X in both company codes.
    How is this done.
    In context to the above scenario;
    Now the material which has been delivered by company C (vendor) to Company A;
again this company A gives the same material X (which now becomes raw material or spares)
to B as free issue  for the purpose of project.
Through normal Third Party sales order created in company B; the system issues me the following message

    Hi,
Actually the scenario is that company A & B both are different but wish to interface their operations
in order to achieve speedy transactions. If both were under same company umbrella then intercompany would have been possible. But in this case these are two different companies all together.
    thank you for your response.
    Regards
    Vivek

  • Third Party Order Planning with SNP - Forecast not Consumed

    Hallo SAP Gurus,
I have implemented the solution "Third Party Order Planning with SNP" created by Abhay Kapase in our SAP APO System - please see http://scn.sap.com/community/scm/apo/blog/2014/02/26/third-party-order-planning-with-snp.
But I have one problem that the forecast is not consumed.
I have done the following things:
    1. I have activated the business Functions SCM_APO_DRS_PLAN in the APO System and  LOG_MM_OM_2 in the ECC System.
    2. I have done the customiznig in the ECC System: Created the schedule line category D1 and assigned it.
    3. I have done the customizing in the APO System: Created the planning strategy 21.
    4. I have created all the necessary master data in the APO and the ECC System
    5. I have been created a customer order.
    6. The purchase requisitionhas been transferred to the APO System. But the forecast is not consumed.
    Can anybody help me.
    Best Regards
    Dieter

    Someone must know!
We have a similar requirement. We do have CRM but don't wish to implement it for this purpose.
In the SNP planning boook, we want to be able at the SNP vendor location to see the total requirement for both materials to be delivered to our normal supply chain as well as those directly delivered to customers. The direct delivery sales orders are entered to R3 according to the standard process; the purchase requisitions and PO's for these do not go to SNP. The customer location is set-up in SNP. Is there a way to make the purchase req's and orders visible in the SNP Planning Book???
    Many thanks
    Chris
