Third party MHL adapter

I bought a third party MHL adapter which is compatible with s2 s3 s4 active but when I plug it in my Xperia ™ Z1 it doesn't show up anything on the display whereas when I plug galaxy s4 active with the same adapter it immediately displays. What is wrong with it? Is it my fault or any other fault? Or my way of setup is nor right?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
First of all make sure that it is a five pin MHL adapter. It will not work with a 11 pin MHL adapter.

  • OSB - Third Party JCA Adapter Deployment

    Hi everyone,
    I would like to know if OSB 11 supports third party JCA adapter besides Oracle JCA adapter.
    If it does, I would like to know how I can generate wsdl and jca files for the thrid party adapter in order to deploy it to OSB. Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    K.Hein

    The JCA transport of OSB works in conjunction with a built-in JCA adapter framework and JCA-compliant adapters to interact with EIS systems. You may need to develope a custom transport (similar to JCA transport in OSB), to use your custom/third party JCA adapters with it.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/doc.1111/e15866/part_tsdk.htm#sthref962
    Better option would be to raise an ER with support and if product development approves the same then a new feature can be introduced in OSB to support third party JCA adapters as part of existing JCA transport/as part of a new transport.

  • Problem: Deploy a SSO Third Party Integration Adapter in Portal

    A user want to deploy a SSO third party integration adapter (Novell Access Gateway) in Portal (AS v10.1.2.0.2). And used method in Note 430877.1. They can login through Novell Access Gateway and login Portal, but when click search user button, there always show a blank IE. And no error log. How to resolve? Thanks.

    Hello,
    I have found out that in SAP Portal it must be possible to create a new system from a par-file which is uploaded to portal before.
    I have such a par-file. It is deployed and uploaded to the portal server. And the application which is contained by this PAR is running in SAP Portal.  But when I go to
    System Administration --> System Configuration --> Portal Content --> right mouse click to folder --> new System from par
    then this PAR can not find there.
    I have also tried to upload this PAR manually to portal. But the result is the same. This PAR does not exist in the radiobutton-options to create a new System.
    Please can anybody tell me how to create a system (or a system-template) from an uploaded PAR-file?
    Regards,
    Iris

  • Using a Third Party Network Adapter

    I would like to use a third-party network adapter instead of the Realtek network adapter built in to my L955-S5370. Are there any changes I need to make to the laptop before I connect the third-party network adapter? I thought I might want to disable the Realtek adapter in Device Manager.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Found my answer:
    Before adding a third-party wireless network adapter to a laptop that has a built-in wireless network adapter, you need to disable the laptop's built-in wireless network adapter. There are two ways to do this:
    From the Network and Sharing Center. These instructions from Microsoft were initially written for Windows Vista, but they work the same way for Windows 7 and Windows 8: Enable or disable a network adapter.
    From Device Manager. You don't have to be a 'dummy' to follow these instructions: How to Disable the Original WiFi adapter.
    If the laptop's wireless network adapter is re-enabled every time you reboot, you may need to disable the WLAN AutoConfig service, as follows:
    Go to Administrative Tools > Services
    If the WLAN AutoConfig service is enabled, Stop and then Disable that service.
    The laptops's wireless network adapter is now permanently disabled.

  • Third party JMS adapter

    Hi all,
    Is there any vendor provides JMS adatper for SAP XI/PI?  I checked with iWay, they don't have it.
    I am looking for JMS adapter with additional capabilities to what SAP provides.
    1) Send/Receive message to JMS Topic instead of queue (standard SAP provided JMS adapter doesn't support this)
    2) SSL over JMS  (seems like SAP adapter doesn't support this either
    3) SOAP over JMS (it is also not supported either).
    Thanks..HP

    The SOAP adapter can be enhanced by the Axis frameworkAxis is open source software from Apache.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/45/a3c48c87cd0039e10000000a11466f/frameset.htm
    I do not find JMS in the online help, I have to check the FAQ of the Axis adapter.
    SOAP over JMS is not a standard, so in principle you can simple create a SOAP message and send this with JMS adapter. That depends on the JMS broker.

  • Soap Adapter (What info needs to be provided to the Third Party Developer)

    I have the following scenario
    Third Party --> Soap Adapter --> XI --> IdocAdapter --> R3
    My specific question is, what information do I need to provide to the Third Party team in order for them to successfully send a message to XI. (Note that I am using SOAP Adapter)
    1. What is the URL that they will need? the syntax/format?
    2. Do I need to provide a userid and pwd and if so, which userid is normally used.
    3. I think I will need to provide the WSDL also ( I have already generated this). Is this right ?
    4. Any other information that they will need from me.
    Thanks in advance for your responses.
    - Ravi

    James,
    Thanks for you answer. I am using XI 2.0
    1. Would you happen to know what the URL Format for 2.0 is for defining the Web Service.
    2. Also, would the User be an XI user ?
    3. Also, since they are asking me for a URL to the WSDL and not a text file, is there a way to publish it as a URL in 2.0. If not, what's the normally used method of publishing it.
    4. I tried using XmlSpy to send the Soap request and when i provide the WSDL, i get the following error:
    "Schema Error - Undefined schema component 'xmlns' encountered - expected: (abstract | block | final | id | mixed | name)". Is this a common problem with the wsdl and how do i fix this.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Issue with Third Party Adapter for custom JCA Connector in Oracle 11g.

    Hi,
    For a proof of concept, I have created my own JCA Connector. I have deployed this connector in Weblogic and it works as expected.
    Now I am trying to call the JCA Connecter from the SOA Bus. For this I have create a SCA Composite with a simple Web Service to expose the composite, a Third Party Adaptor to wrap the JCA Connector and a Mediator to wire the Web Service and the Third Party Adapter together. For the Third Party Adapter I have created both the needed *.wsdl and _3P.jca file my self. The problem is that I could not find any documentation about the _3P.jca file, and it looks like it that this file is new for 11g.
    After some puzzling and debugging I am able to deploy the SCA Composite with the Third Party Adapter. Though when I test the exposed Web Service with the Enterprise Manager I get errors and a stack trace. The problem is that the Record Converter I have created receives the default XMLRecord implementation (oracle.tip.adapter.fw.record.XMLRecordImpl) and not the implementation of the XMLRecord I have created my self.
    So the question is does anybody know how to configure the Third Party Adapter so that it will use my custom implemenation of the XMLRecord interface (oracle.tip.adapter.api.record.XMLRecord) instead of the default implementation of the XMLRecord (oracle.tip.adapter.fw.record.XMLRecordImpl).
    I would suspect that it should be configured in the _3P.jca file, though I don't know how. The following is the content of the current _3P.jca file I am using.
    <adapter-config name="DiskAdapter" adapter="Disk Adapter" wsdlLocation="JCADiskConnector.wsdl"
                    xmlns="http://platform.integration.oracle/blocks/adapter/fw/metadata">
      <record-converter className="com.osc.jcaadapter.convert.DiskRecordConverter"/>
      <connection-factory location="jndi/diskcf" adapterRef=""/>
      <endpoint-interaction operation="Send" portType="Send_ptt">
        <use-record-converter addonNamespace="http://somecomp.com/DiskAdapter"/>
        <interaction-spec className="com.osc.jcaadapter.impl.DiskInteractionSpecImpl">
          <property name="FunctionName" value="do-it"/>
        </interaction-spec>
      </endpoint-interaction>
    </adapter-config>So I am hoping that some one knows how you should configure the Third Party Adapter so it uses my own implementation of the XMLRecord interface.

    Hi Simeon,
    That is a good suggestion, and I would certainly try to do that if I was not making a proof of concept. It would solve my problem of not getting the sub class of the XMLRecord.
    Though for making my proof of concept I found a 10g example that used sub classes of the XMLRecord, and that is why I wanted to get the same example to work on 11g.
    The alternative of passing a parameter through with InteractionSpecs, is an interesting though can not solve this problem. I don't have a problem with the javax.resource.cci.Record, I can determine the implementation of that in the conversion class it self.
    The problem is the XMLRecord generated by the Oracle SOA Adapter Framework, some how I need a way to influence that to generate the correct implementation of the XMLRecord.
    So your post is certainly helpfull if I was not trying to get this specific problem to work :).
    But I am afraid that I will end up in implementing your sugestion.
    Regards
    Maikel.

  • File Adapter and Third party system

    Hi,
    I am new to XI and implementing a simple scenario.
    In SLD- I have 3rd paty software component and product.
    3rd party technical system: using my pc - For host name I am using my machine name.
    Scenario: Using file adapter transform csv file to xml.
    File resides on my machine. I have configured file adapter inbound and outbound. Integration Dir & Rep objects are all activated.
    But nothing happens, cannot see any message in Messgae monitoring..
    Any help would be great.. Is my technical system setup wrong?
    thanks

    chk whether the folder in your m/c where the CSV file resides is shared and has appropriate access. Also you need to specify your m/c IP with fwd slashes, e.g) //<Ipaddress>/foldername
    configuring your m/c as a Third Party system in SLD is fine.
    If you think ur SLD settings are not correct, you can define your file adapter commn. channel  in a Business Service(which does not require an SLD entry) and check whether it works.
    Thanks

  • File adapter polling stops after reboot of third party system

    Hi,
    We noticed that whenever we reboot our third party system, XI File Adapter is losing it's connection to that third party system and polling stops. As a result File Adapter is not processing any files from that particular server.
    To fix this problem, we either reboot XI Server or refresh communication channel (Go to change mode and save it).
    File adapter is configured to  use FTP  to transfer the files between Windows Server and Unix Server.
    Is there a better way to fix this problem?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Chandu

    Hi,
    Make the connect mode as PER FILE TRANSFER in the file adapter.
    <i>Connect Mode
    Permanently
    An existing connection to the FTP server is used permanently.
    The connection is reestablished automatically if it is closed by the server.
    Per File Transfer
    A new connection to the FTP server is established for each file transfer.</i>

  • XI and Third party systems are on diff OS which affects File adapter

    Hello,
    I hav ea sceanrio where XI is on Unix and third party system is on Windows.
    We are using a file adapter to give data to third party.on third party system os level script reads this file.
    When ever XI is file adapter is writing file that time only sometimes script tries to read the file and I guess here unix file lock mechanism is not understandable by script which read these files in third party.
    At the same time third party is writing data  and file adapter of XI reads that file, here also file lock mechanism is not recognised.
    This is causing bad data read in XI and as well third party level.
    Pl can you suggest how to resolve this.
    thanks,
    Sharada

    HI Sharada
    You need to use FTP. XI server's file adapter can access only files placed on its local directory.
    In your case  install a FTP server on your desktop and make file adapter connnnect to it .

  • IDoc Scenario SAP ERP - PI(Receiver IDoc Adapter) - IDoc to Third-Party system

    Dear All,
    I have created a scenario  to send IDocs via PI system (PI 7.1) to a third party system.
    There is no message mapping involved(Only ID part)
    I have imported Idoc Metadata from the source ERP system.
    Created an RFC destination(BC_ERP_SEA) in the PI system of type TCP/IP with registered Server Program to third party system.(Tested success)
    Created a port in IDX1 BC_ERP_SEA with above TCP/IP destination.
    Receiver communication channel of type IDoc is created with the following parameters:
             RFC Destination: BC_ERP_SEA
             Segment Version: 640
             Interface Version: SAP release 4.0 or Higher
             Port: BC_ERP_SEA
             SAP Release: 640
    Now when I execute the scenario, I get the following error in SM58 of PI system.
    Bena IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS not found on host.
    Request your help for this issue.
    Thanks,
    Jishi

    Hi,
    Check below steps..it may resolve your issue
    1. It is mandatory to specify Ack Destination value in IDoc_AAE sender channel. The value should be an RFC destination name which is connecting to your SAP ECC system.
    2. In inboundRA resource adapter, the value for the property "local" should be set to "true".
