Third Party Template displays very messy in design view

Hi everyone,
So i'm fairly new to dreamweaver. Whenever I've used it, there's already been a template/site set up and I've only made small changes. Recently i've been asked to overhaul a website in need of a fresher look. The client wants to use the following site template: http://html5up.net/minimaxing/
Does anybody have any suggestions on how I could make it so that dreamweaver displays the design view in a more user friendly way? The template works fine when I preview it in the browser, and when I make changes to the code... just the design view isn't agreeing with it.
Any recommendations you have are appreciated!
ps. Using Dreamweaver CS 5.5 on Windows 7.

Site not displaying correctly in DW Design View

This is a weird display problem on one of my sites that I
have not seen before.
I sometimes log into my server remotely and make changes to
the html manually then resave the files. Later I may download the
newly edited files and put them in my backup site folder on my
local machine.
On one particular site, everything looks fine online from my
server, but when looking at the files locally in DW Design view
everything is out of whack. The images are all over the place and
the backgrounds are completely missing. If I preview the it still
looks normal and all the images are in the correct place and
backgrounds are fine. Only displays wrong in DW Design View which
makes it impossible to use the WYSIWYG to edit this site now.
Anyone encountered anything like this?

You are editing the files directly on the server, and not
from a local site?
And which DW are you using?

Third party battery - display showing "not charging"

Hello everyone,
After my original battery started to behave as it had come the highest time to replace it ("service battery", sudden shutdowns), I did it and another issue has popped up immediately.
I bought a third party battery in service point and after installing it and plugging the charger I noticed the green light indicator was still on. At the same time the battery display on the menu bar has been showing the battery is not charging (occasionally it turns into "charging" but then comes back to "not charging") although it actually does but very slowly. I tried to calibrate the battery but when the computer was about to go to sleep it just shut down suddenly when reached 1%. However I let it stay unplugged for the 5 hours, hoping it might helped eventually but when I plugged the charger the condition remained unchanged. Beside that the battery holds power properly.
Of course I tried resetting SMC but it didn't change anything either.
Does anyone have any idea what's the cause may be? I'd be bery grateful for any hint.

Yeah, this is exactly what I was (and stil am) going to do tomorrow but wanted to do some research earlier anyway.
I've just installed the old battery and the orange light appeared right away so I guess it's not the MagSafe issue. Besides, as You wrote, it would be extremely weird if it just stopped working at this moment.
While I was researching the internet I stumbled across some thread where someone wrote some logic boards may just not recognize the third-party batteries (cheap chinese one in this case). I suppose it may be the reason but it's only my guess.

Problem A.) I have tried for HOURS--cannot make this image fill the page (I plan to have a different background image on different pages). I read around and pasted in it's exact size, etc. It doesn't move and it's cut off top & bottom. Left & right are perfect. Here is where I am so far:

Display Greek font in design view

Hi, i have recently reinstalled DreamweaverMX on my Mac.
The mac is running OSX 10.4.6 and some things are different
now after the installment of DMW
I am struggeling with the greek font.
In my previously made sites I had no problem with displaying
the font in either code view or design view.
Now, opening the previously made files, they do not display
the Greek. neither in code view or designview. i get capitals with
dots on the top.. recognise that?
Does anybody know how to get this done properly for once and
for all?
Unicode and UTF8 ? everywhere.. preferences 'fonts' and 'new
document'
Central European?
I have been trying some stuff but it didn't work out.
Maybe I need to Quit and restart Dreamweaver? I thought that
wasn't necessary.
With the mac I can change from english to greek with a
keyoption. So that's not really the problem.

Server Side Includes not displaying in DW CS3 design view

I have this code in my page (see below):
When I open the file in Dreamweaver MX 2004 in design view,
the page displays correctly. That is, I see the correct styles from
the style sheet contained in Head_Standard.html and the logo/menu
in Logo_TopMenu.html
When I open the page in DW CS3, I do not see the effects of
the style sheet and I do not see the logo/menu.
However, when I change the code for the first include from:
virtual="/ServerSide
to
virtual="
../../ServerSide
then the page renders correctly in Dreamweaver CS3.
My first reaction was: what?! And my question is: how do I
use a root reference inside the head and get it to display properly
in DW CS 3?

../../ServerSide... works
So, a relative reference works and a reference to the root
does not. I have over 20 websites with root references and I need

Preview and Generate view not displaying the same as design view

I have a topic that will not generate or preview what is displayed in the design view.
The topic is a table that uses a different image as the background for each cell (from the CSS).
The background images display fine in design view but will not display when previewed or generated. Everything else is displayed but not the backgrounds.
Any ideas.

Third Party Templates

Is there a really easy customisable Invoice template out there ?
The one that comes packaged with numbers only produces invoices singly and gives no provision for adding up the results for the tax periods etc.etc.
I am a photographer and many years ago I put together a simple invoice using an early version of Filemaker. This enabled me to put client addresses into a text box on a smartly designed form with a unique invoice number, and my company logo exactly where I want it. Below there were two columns; one listing services and the other the costs. At the end there was a sub-total, a box indicating tax and a final total payable.All the fields calculated automatically - Easy and smart.
At the end of each tax period I could output any of the details of costs and profits in another document. Simple to format and set up calculations.
However my edition of Filemaker runs on Mac OS9 and the new version seems to be far too intense and powerful for my simple needs.
I thought Bento may have been the answer but I can't seem to make that do the sums I want.
Macfreelance et al are much too complicated and seem to be obsessed with "hourly billing"and heaps of functions I don't need.
Numbers would be brilliant but I'm damned if I can work it out.
I am getting too old to spend my life tinkering with another software package - my days seems to be consumed by attempts to get programs to do what I want and little time seems to be left to get on with my business.
Anyone know of any available Invoice templates that with minimal tinkering can be put to use.

Officially the return process is not supported by standard SAP ERP system for the third-party process.This functionality was never designed and is not supported.
The note 751609 is the official statement of SAP to this problem.
But any return goods to vendor from customer can be settled through credit notes.
The process is to first pass a credit memo to Vendor and after the process the with reference to Sales order a third party credit memo can be issued to customer

In Billing due list Third party sales orders are not appearing because VKDFS table those entries are there. How can we get Third party sales orders in VKDFS table as well as VF04 ?

Scheduling third party sales orders in APO

Dear Experts,
Scenario:
Sales order with item category TAS (third party SAP standard) triggers a purchase requisition. The Preq calls ECC ATP check and gets scheduled simply based on planned delivery time. The delivering plant is virtual and doesnu2019t hold inventory. An inbound delivery is the only receipt against which sales order can be confirmed if at all I care to do an ATP check.
This is a standard SAP third party scenario with ATP check. The material is shipped directly to the customer from vendor and invoice by the company.
Requirement
This purchase requisition should be scheduled in APO.. Condition technique-trans. and shipment scheduling
The scheduled delivery date then should be updated to sales order schedule line.
My purpose is to schedule a delivery date based on lead times that are more conditional than the one from info record that just has a planned delivery time which is currently irrespective of customer.
Other info
Customing for checking rules is CIFd. Material is in APO with checking group maintained. All basic config exists.
The Purch req is calling ATP check ONLY in ECC that shows a delivery date offset from requested delivery date.
Why scheduling in APO and why not ECC:
I want to make use of possibly trans lanes duration in the future. by maintained t/lanes from vendors to all ship to parties.

where SAP's design intent of PO/Preq scheduling is explained..that primarily comes from this hypothesis:
IF WE CANT CONTROL EXTERNAL VENDORS, WHY BOTHER SCHEDULING VENDOR's DATES.
Sounds like an archaic reasoning!! given we cannot practically confirm a reasonably good delivery date with albeit approximate assuming vendor has 100% materail on release date. The inforecord's planned delivery time as I mentioned is only so much...not destination specific (the vendor can potentially supply to customers across the globe with transit times varying from x to 10x)
The logic used for confirmation of third party orders based on PO scheduling is this
Backward
Release date =Requested delivery date - purchasing department processing time - planned delivery time or
Forward
Realistic delivery date =Current date + purchasing department processing time + planned delivery time
To help visualize I tried a scenario with sale order requested delivery date 3months out. The PO scheduling screen is NOT called. The order stands confirmed on requesed delivery date with the simple logic applied being
Requested delivery date = material availability date
My requirement still remains valid though.
I want to schedule TAS items in APO..using APO master data or condition technique.
I need to get a MAD date updated to the sales order schedule line for gettting a delivery date that is more conditional than info-record's planned delivery time. Not sure if this sounds technically consistent but requirement is reasonble !

Third Party billing issue

Hello Friends,
In third party order , after statistical MIGO (without MIRO)( I maintained copy controls as per requirement) if I am trying to do invoice in VF04 with my order number,I am unable to do it because order number is not showing in VF04.Can someone Plz suggest me?

The system displays a third-party item in the billing due list if the billing status of the item (VBUP-FKSAA) is on 'not yet billed' or 'partially billed'.
This status is determined:
1. for an item with relevancy for billing B - order-related in accordance with order quantity (Transaction VOV7) if the sales order was created with the third-party item.
2. for an item with relevancy for billing F - order-related in accordance with invoice receipt quantity if an invoice receipt was posted in MM for the third-party item.

I found a solution http://azurecp.codeplex.com/ which is really a very good solution and does what I want. As this is a critical requirement to my SharePoint, there needs a certain level of support (or call it Official Support) which is more justifiable
at management level. Hence, please share if you happen to know one please.

How to edit a photo with a third party app ?

I use Pixelmator on both ipad and imac and I would like to edit my photos on the mac the same way I do on my ipad but I can’t find the way to do so. Has anyone found a way to edit Photos with Pixelmator or Photoshop from the Mac Photo App ?

I think this is a massive oversight by Apple, and makes the app virtually useless to anyone who regularly edits in Photoshop or any other third-party app. VERY disappointing, especially since iPhoto (which had this ability) is no longer functional!
