I don't know what tool you're referring to. What does this logo look like? Perhaps someone may recognize it.
What's wrong with the flat frame?

    Hi Murali Narayanan
If you wan to achieve monitoring from technical perspective, the way that was introduced by shivjansi might be the option.
If you want to check the entry of specific table in stand alone MSSQL to ensure the business process that use MSSQL
stand alone DB, you can use BPMon remote DB monitoring that enables monitoring of non ABAP/ non SAP that supported
by netweaver like MSSQL, Oracle, DB2.
By using this function, you can monitor the entry of your stand alone SQL server.
For example, stand alone SQL Server has some table that contains some error,
or there is  application table and in one row that it indicates error or  completeness.
Now if you want to check these error document or incomplete document  in the DB,
you can use BPMon remote DB monitor.
By monitoring this, you can ensure whether there is issue in your business or not.
You can find out how to setup from following link.
    http://service.sap.com/bpm
    ->technical detail ->Setup Guide for non-ABAP/non-SAP
P14 (The monitoring object u201CGeneric Table Entry Counter for remote DBu201D (NATABCNX) )
    is related description.
(In the document, it also introduce some other way using web service).
Also in same link, you can find out other document like how to setup BPMon.
Also there is some blog about table entry counter. it is for SAP ABAP system.
But the function is more or less same for remote DB.
So you can also check following blog to have more understandable image.

  • Integrating third party system with solution manger

    Dear All,
How we can do integration between third patrty system and solution manager. As part of our implementation we have got some other application to be integrated with SAP . We have got ECC 6.0 and Solution manager. Can any one guide me how to do this,
    Thanks
    Hany

    Hi Pankaj,
    Yes this is possible.
Create an RFC using SM37 transaction.
Build the logic to retrieve the data.
The 3rd party system also should have the necessary logic to be triggered once there is a call from RFC & get the primary keys based on which it will retrieve data & pass it to SAP.
    Best regards,
    Prashant

  • Can we integrate third party tool with solution manager

Can we integrate third party toll with solution manager , If it is possible what API's we have?

    Hi Santosh Asuthkar,
    thank you for your answer.
I've already read the steps in trx. spro and several documentations in sdn.
There was a hint to trx. ictconf, wsconfig, lpconfig, wsadmin. If you call these transactions there
is a message that these trx. are old and trx. SOAMANAGER should be used.
Question is how to activate the webservice "ICT_SERVICE_DESK_API" in SOAMANAGER.
I've never handled with bindings and proxy classes.
    Best regards
    Klaus

  • Integration of ChaRM with third party tools

    Hi all,
We are in the process of building the solution for Change Request Management implementation integrated with third party tool.
As the normal process for ChaRM is to work with the Service Desk functionality (to raise a ticket, then support message, change request, change document etc...), but what we need is create the change request, and change document directly with ChaRM without using the Service Desk functionality.
Did anybody come across this situation?
    Please share your experience.
    Thanks in advance.
    Balaji

    Hi Balaji,
there is no problem, as I understand, you want to use ChaRM without Service Desk. OK, than you create directly a Change Request in CRMD_ORDER, the transaction type you have to select is SDCR (standard transaction type), you have to approve it and then you can create a change document, it is not necessary that you start with a Service Desk ticket like SLFN.
You need configured TMS a SolMan Project with a Maintenance Cycle, thats it (but this is enough , don't forget the customizing).
I hope I understood you correct

  • ECATT with solution manger?.

    Hi,
Anybody explain what is relation between eCATT with solution manger?.
Ecatt implied with solution manager or need connect R/3
How to integrate solution manger and ecatt?
What is the exact functionality of Solution manger? Why going to use ecatt solution
    Manager also .
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ram

    Hi Sri ram,
eCATT is a tool to design test scripts.. A test script built by eCATT is like a recorded transaction .. which you use to re run by supplying different test data... means if you record it once.. you can use it with different test data ..
eCATT is part of WAS and is available in ERP and as well as Solution Manager..
Once you build all the eCATT's in ERP you can assign them to (SOLAR02-Configuration window) the blue print.. .. there is tab test cases where you can attach a test script which you created in ERP and the variant (Test data) which is to be used while testing.. (Test script + Test data) become one test case...
You can build test plan basing on all the test cases you attached to blueprint... STWB_2....You need select which all test cases are part of this test plan...
Once the test plan is created you have to create test packages which are collection of test cases and you can assign testers to these test packages.....
Once these test packages are assigned to testers the testers can access the test cases attached to them and they can run them... ecatt runs automatically and with designated data and will record the result.. Transaction STWB_WORK for testers to access the test packages...
eCATT - is to automate testing....
Solution Manager - Provides test work bench where you can create test plans, test packages.... allowing you to manage testing. monitoring and reporting...
Hope this helps you to understand eCATT and relation of it with Solution manager ...
As suggested by Srinivasan please go through Sapna's eCATT blogs.. they are just wonderful source of information for eCATT..
Please do come back if you require any further details...

  • Is Solution Manger mandatory for upgrade to NW2004s ?

Is solution Manger mandatory for upgrade to NW2004S ?
    Thanks,
    BP.

SAP will not provide solman key. However it will provide a solution manager free for ERP software. The first system that should be installed is solman in the landscape. By making solman mandatory SAP wants to regulate the irregularities in the annual fees payment by the customers. It want their customers to habituate to this software, so it provided some of the usefull concepts in solman i.e central administration of all systems in the landscape, preparation of implementation projects using ASAP methodology, maintaining service level agreement reports, provides service desk option(ticketing tool), early watch alerts etc.
So upgrade to NW2004s it is mandatory that you have solman installed.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

  • Third party tool for burning MP3 CDs?

    Hi,
Are there any third party tools for burning MP3 CDs from an iTunes library?
The iTunes functionality is not sufficient for me for two reasons:
*) I have ALAC files in my library and iTunes won't convert them for putting them on the CD. I know I can convert them in iTunes, but I am looking for a more elegant solution.
*) iTunes seems to put all files in the root of the CD. My car stereo does not use MP3 tags but subdirectories to recognize albums, so I need a directory for every album.
    Any hints are appreciated!
    Thanks, Robert

    ed2345 wrote:
Easily done. See iTunes: How to set the play order of songs on an MP3 CD. Basically, if you sort the playlist by album, iTunes will burn the MP3 CD with album folders.
Thanks, that solves the second problem, which was the more pressing anyway.
Do you maybe also have an idea how to get rid of the number in front of the album title in the directory name?
    Cheers, Robert

  • BPMon: Send BPMon alerts to third party tool through SNMP traps

    Hi All,
In our environment the preferred ticketing tool for raising tickets is a CA tool. I have managed to integrate system monitoring on Solution Manager with this third party tool using SNMP traps. Essentially when a system monitoring alert is raised in the alert inbox of solution manager, ticket gets raised in the CA tool.
I want the same integration with BPMon alerts. Whenever a BPMon alert is raised, I want to send an SNMP trap to the CA ticketing tool.
Can someone please guide me to the correct configuration guide or how its done.

  • Catching System.exit() or How to avoid System.exit() - Third Party Tool ???

    Hi All,
I am using a third party tool which is internally calling System.exit sometimes and my application
got terminated most of the times.
It is happening always when i call a particular method of that third party tool.
Is there any way to catch or avoid the System.exit while using the particular method?
I need this urgently...Please kindly help.....
    Thanks,
    J.Kathir

There's a fair bit to it, and you should refer to the appropriate java Tutorials. Bascially you create a .policy file and install a sercurity manager with:
System.setSecurityManger(new SecurityManager());The policy file grants a set of permissions to various "code sources", basically each codesource is a classpath entry. You could grant "AllPermissions" to your own code, and a more restricted set of permissions to the application you're running. But you can't subtract permissions, i.e. you can't say "this code can do anything except call System.exit().
I doubt this is going to provide you with a good solution. It's tiresome to set up, and when the client app called System.exit it would crash, which might not result in a clean status.
I'd consider if you should be using this client app in the same JVM, rather than creating a subordinate JVM using Runtime.exec.

  • Third-part tool to draw rectangle on block diagram

I know there was once a third-party tool that enabled me to draw a nice double-bordered rectangle on the block diagram.  Yes, that is the block diagram not the front panel.  It was very useful for making annotations and denoting functional groupings.  Does anyone know what that might be?  I have installed VI Package Manager and gone through everything I can think of without finding it.
Unfortunately, the documentation for these potentially very useful add-ons is poor.  The "Get info" is terse to the point of useless and clicking on "Product Homepage" rarely gets you more than a logo, not informative.  Surely, there must be more details somewhere.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I don't know what tool you're referring to. What does this logo look like? Perhaps someone may recognize it.
