This account is inactive

how come when I sign in with guymax (my user name) I get "this account is inactive" even though I just posted to threads early this morning and I'm receiving updates to threads of discussions I've commented on via e-mail.
When I click on reset my password I never receive an email to change my password.

    I have only 17 active sites, 5 of them are launched live. All the other 83 of 100 websites limit I have already deleted in Business Catalyst and their status is shown as inactive, there is no way for me to get back to managing these 83 thus it kind of suggests that they are deleted. I need to create new sites under new names quite often to demonstrate work in progress or various options of design for the same website and I don't have any intention to use any of the 83 sites anymore. With the current error I can't work and I can't find a way to completely remove all 83 inactive sites inside Business Catalyst or Creative Cloud (I tried and searched and still nothing). So it's a huge problem for me.
    Now, how can I solve this issue?

    Can you open up a support ticket so that a support engineer can look at this problem? Based on this short description you should not have any problems creating new temporary sites (not live sites).

    I am having a similar issue. I had to change my apple ID because my email account is close, but am unable to change my iCloud ID. It seems there is no way to change the iCloud ID. Unless I am missing something, this seems like an oversight by Apple. Any advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

    I have managed to initially set up our two IOS devices - my wifes IPhone 4S and my IPAD 2 - in a not so smart way.
    I used the same Apple ID account for both devices.
    As such it worked, however after a few days we decided to have two different Apple ID accounts, one for each device.
    I made a new Apple ID account for my wifes Iphone, and kept the old account for my IPAD.
    This is as well working now with both these accounts, however I have found out that my wifes IPhone is still registered under my account.
    This I will like to have rectified and cleared, i.e. I want my wife's phone cleared from my Apple ID account, so that my Apple ID account only contain information related to my IPAD 2.
    My wife's Apple ID account for her IPhone 4S works fine and we do not need to change anything for this account.
    However, how can I clear/edit my own account, so that it only contain information about my IPAD?
    For example, when I use the Apps "Find My Iphone" I can see that the system is trying to locate both my IPAD and my wife's IPhone 4S, when I have logged on with my Apple ID account no. This show that one way or the other both devices are registered under my Apple ID account.
    I will appreciate some assistance to tell how to rectify this matter,

    Delete your iCloud account in "Settings" > "iCloud" or "Settings" > "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
    Delete your Apple ID in "Settings" > "iTunes & App Stores"

    The iTunes stores in different countries are entirely separate.  You can only use an iTunes store credit in the country in with it was created and purchased content cannot be shared across countries.  Family sharing groups must be country-specific, using iTunes store credits for purchases only within that country, and sharing purchases that were made in that country.  You can contact iTunes store support for more details on these restrictions here: https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

    lots of people seem to be havgin a problem sending email from iCloud webmail.
    does your email address have uppercase characters in it?
    if so, try creating an alias in lowercase (go to preferences in iCloud webmail and select 'accounts') and see if email sends okay from that

    First of all you should really post this in Itunes forums cause you might get more hits on it.. Anyway.. You can only authorize up to 5 comps on one itunes account.. This does not include iOS devices. Those you can have 10.
    So to fix this issue, open itunes, hit store on the left side, click log in (or your e-mail address if you are already logged in) in the top right hard corner of the page. One you log into your account you will see a a little area where it says you authorized 5 out of 5 comps. Below it should be a button to clear all those out.  Itunes will de-authorize all computers on the account then you need to go back Store tab in the menu bar and select authorize this computer.
    Remember it will deauthorize all your computers, so you need to re-authorize any other computers you have.

I can receive mail in this account on my iPad and by signing into aol on safari and internet explorer on my office PC. It's obviously a glitch in Apple's Mail. I've deleted this account and reopened it in Mail on my Mac Pro with no difference. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, this E amil account is major to my business.

    sounds like a corrupt database or index
    the glitch is your home folder and mail folder, esp look at syncservices
    I'd post in the mail or Lion forum where you will find similar issues being discussed.
