The reason for the title of this thread is [should] be obvious to most customers who have had problems due to the so called DLM used by all ISP`s except cable.
I had a profile drop from 77.44 to 61 a while back,and the mods took up the case.
I refused an OR engineer visit at that time because it was not needed as my line is fine as is the fibre line to the cabinet,but was told that nothing could be done because of the DLM.
But then even though nothing had been done my profile returned like magic to 77.44 again,very wierd.
After about a week,it jumped back to 61 again,and is still at that level.
The point is that I think that the DLM can and is controlled by BT and can be set at whatever they want,when they want.
In my case I have 2 options.
1) I can leave and ditch the DLM in Nov.
2) I can take up the challenge and try to beat the DLM as per the thread below.

Either way this joke has gone on too long and from my seat is no longer funny.
I do not know why BT do not just leave the lines alone when they are working fine,they say if it not broken don`t fix it.?

Why can't I speak to a member of staff in this company?

The Customer Service and Tech Support people at Adobe you’d talk to are for figuring out problems you’re having installing or using a product that isn’t functioning like it should on your computer, and so would NOT know more than users, here, so the forums are your best chance of getting questions answered about actually what LR does and how to use it.
You can download a trial for LR and use it for free for 30-days, so that may answer a lot of your questions, or at least allow you to ask questions that are relevant to what LR does, rather than just theoretical.

Depending on your reasons for looking at Lightroom, you may want to keep Elements and use it to work on LR images after you’ve done as much as you can in LR. I am unable to sync my music, applications, movies, etc. to my iPod touch. The only way I am able to bypass the message that pops out when I try to sync (the one in the title) is by clicking "Apply" instead of "Sync". To do this, I make changes to Apps, Music, or Movies (...) and the buttons "Revert" and "Apply" will replace the button "Sync".
My problem is most likely not due to using many accounts because I only have one and it is the only one that I use. I do not share accounts with my family members. Still, I have tried everything here, nothing has worked for me. Since I don't often listen to Podcasts, I have deleted them from my iPod. I have no idea why I am unable to sync and no one seems to have the same problem as me.

Hi I have a macbook pro (late 2011) running on Yosemite and an iPhone 5s running iOS 8.1.2 and I have never had a problem until tonight. I wanted to sync my iPhone to add mew music but upon syncing I keep getting a pop up message saying "THE IPHONE " " COULD NOT BE SYNCED BECAUSE THIS COMPUTER IS NO LONGER AUTHORIZED FOR PURCHASED ITEMS ON THIS PHONE" and tells me to go to the store tab on the top and to authorize this computer and every time I do it says computer is already authorized. I will also mention that my iTunes account is the only account that is used on my Mac and it is the only account I've used on my iPhone. Ive synced them plenty of time with no problems. I have never came across this message before and now my iPhone won't sync. I have been online for an hour now looking for solutions but I haven't found any that successfully worked. Ive rebooted both my Mac and iPhone with no success. ow for some reason when I plug my iPhone in it does not even charge but my Mac reads it and it shows up in the iTunes store so I tried syncing it again 1 more time snap it just gets stuck on step 1. I must also say state that is did successfully back up but absolutely will not sync. Can anybody please help me out without resetting my iPhone. Thanks

Thanks Gail but ive tried that as well as logging oht and back into my accounts on my iphone and mac but I still get that message. I actually found a solution by unckecking my synced music playlist and clicking sync to remove it and then reclicked on my playlist to sync and it actually synced notmally and I got all of my new songs so I wanted to test it again so I clicked on sync again and the message once again popped up until I did the un-syncing and re-syncing again. I guess I will keep doing that in the future even though its annoying but its better than resetting my iphone.

My computer which is a packard bell vista operating system, recently stopped working as the power supply overheated and blew up and it has recently been sent back to the Know How team at PC world and it seems to be since it came back I now cannot open iTunes. I have also tried to search for iTunes in the search bar, I can see several files, but can't seem to open any of these either. I think that quicktime isn't working, either.

I would copy over the entire thing if you have room. With iTunes 10.4 though, you can download any previous iTunes purchases you have made in the past with your current iTunes account. While in iTunes, look at the left hand side of your screen and select "Purchases" and look at the bottom right corner of the screen and select "Download Previous Purchases". If you have an iPhone, iPod and/or iPad...you can do the same thing from each device. Nice new feature...just remember that those ripped CDs need a back-up!!! Enjoy...

If you want just the originals, then you can go into the Aperture library (right click on it and do "show package contents"). Inside is a directory called "Masters" and you can find the original files in a bunch of subfolders.
But... you'll lose all adjustments, keywords, and other information, and just have the files as they were imported originally from the cameras.
Easiest is probably to buy Aperture and update everything, and then migrate to the Photos application down the road if that's what you want. Aperture 3.0 came out in 2010 (five years ago!) so it's not like you've upgraded in a while

Did you recently deauthorize a bunch of computers? You can only deauthorize all once year.

I think it is some sort of permissions issue preventing the installer from updating the shortcuts. Is your account an administrator of the machine? If it is and you still have the problem then you may need to explicitly use the "Administrator" account for the install.

Are you sure you authorized it for the ID)s) that purched all the media on the iPod?

I've gotten the same issue now on my ipad.
My mac mini is authorized. I only have ONE itunes account. I sync my original ipad today and I get this message. So i say sure authorize, even tho it is. Enter login and password, comes back with this computer is already authorized. I knew that but ok. hit ok. Up pops message that this computer is no longer authorized, blah blah blah. Ok ill try again. Authorize credentials entered. Get message that computer is already authorized. Itunes is most recent 10.2.1. Ipad is updated to 4.3.1.
I deauthorized computer and reauthorized it. Still get loop.
google for solutions, find lots of problems, no answers outside of reinstall itunes and it "might" work, but not for everyone. Not gonna do that yet.
Figure Ill call, I mean its not that an old a device and its surely a bug in the software, I havent changed a single thing since I last synced and only tried got the sync message when i plugged it in to update the OS.
