This computer does not meet the minimum requirements
Hi,
When I try to install the VGA driver for HD4000 (Z77A-G45, i7 3770) it shows me the message in the title. How can I solve this?
Thanks
Are you using any external video card? You usually see this message when onboard video is disabled in BIOS.
If you are using an external video card, check if onboard video is enabled in BIOS. As soon as you have it enabled, you should be able to install the drivers.

This computer does not meet the minimum requirements? (Intel HD 4600)
Hello,
I recently built a new rig with Intel 4670k processor, MSI Z87-G43 Gaming, MSI Twin Frozr R9-280x.
Now, I am trying to install the onboard graphics for the 4670k by trying to enable it in the bios but it just boot loops.Quote from: PirateDog on 10-November-13, 00:44:19
The moderator is not saying the CPU is installed incorrectly, he is pointing you in the direction that a CPU socket pin or pins may be bent and not making proper contact. And yes, the system can still work with bent pin(s), but not fully functional. Most common is memory channels or slots not working, but there are cases of bent pin(s) affecting graphics as well.
Ah yes, I apologize for my assumption. I will check it once again. Thank you guys for the advise. -
This PC does not meet the minimum requirements for this version of iTunes
Trying to update my iTunes, the installer gives the error message:
"This PC does not meet the minimum requirements for this version of iTunes"
I have gone through the procedures listed in the support section, and have completely removed all Apple software, deleted the file folders etc etc.... still no joy.
This is most annoying as I've just received my brand new iPhone 6+ and I was trying to backup my old device to iTunes so I could restore it onto the new phone and get using it today. Hacked off big time :-\Well I've eventually managed a work-around. Ver. 11.5.1 was no good because it wasn't compatible with my iphone 5, next one wasn't compatible with my iphone 6+, eventually got 11.4 installed so I could back up my old iphone 5 to it, then restore that backup onto my iphone 6+, which then wasn't up to date with the current iOS so I had to do that before it would sync my apps.
What a ball ache.
If someone would kindly let me know when the latest iTunes works again I's appreciate it, until then I'll have to stick with what I've got.
I need to start again with my music collection, re-import everything and get it on my iphone, because I had to delete it all a few months ago when iOS updated because it didn't have enough storage space on the device! Somehow lost it all off my iTunes in the process!
TBH I've always found the Apple system hideously complicated and infuriating when it doesn't work properly. Instead of making it more and more complex it needs simplifying and making fool-proof so people don't have to go through all this BS just to use their **** phone! -

My laptop does have dual graphics, depending on battery or mains.......any ideas?
Presume this is the right driver, and I have the wrong driver thus the blue screen of death..........needing to use other devices for videos, and really doing my head in.
Please help!Hi @jmuk
Thank you for your reply.
As the screen shot you provided does indicate you should turn off shadowing or caching in the bios have you done this?
Have you tried installing the updates in safe mode?
As the HP Support Assistant did not find any updates for your system , it should be up to date.
Here is a link to HP Notebook PCs - Resolving Video and Graphics Issues that may also help.
If the issue remains I suggest doing a recovery back to factory.

Hey guys.
Today I downloaded FCP 10.2 and when enabling 3D text this message appeared "This computer does not meet the recommended system requirements for 3D titles". I ignored it and continued working on the 3D text, everything looked fine. Could someone tell me what the difference is when working on a not compatible computer?
Thanks!

If that does not help, we will need to know your Aperture version and MacOS X version. And do you use an external monitor? Then disconnect it before rebooting. -
Your system does not meet the minimum requirement for this update (9996)
Hi
recently had to reformat my system with windows 7 profesional. All windows updates where performed and all the drivers where installed correctly except the ethernet driver. windows 7 cannot find a suitable driver. I then downloaded the driver from the link provided on the hpe-590t download site, which is described as a intel gigabyte driver sp52222, however the software driver comes up with the following message your system does not meet the minimum requirement for this update (9996). Has anyone had a similar problem.

New iMac Intel - Hardware Does Not Meet the Minimum Requirements?

Any idea what this may be from. I have the new 17inch iMac with Intel processor and it worked before?
Help woudl be greatly appreciated. This is my first Mac. I switched from a P.C. I have no idea how to even trouble shoot challenges as of yet.
ThanksHi, and welcome to the Mac.
Aperture doesn't yet run on Intel hardware. A new version should be available in March, according to a blurb in the lower right corner of this page:

Please click Profile Update and follow the directions for updating your profile. Your computer may be too old to support Aperture however without knowing anything about your iMac it's impossible to say. Also there is an Aperture forum to use and you can look at Aperture's System Requirements below to see if you have the minimum.

Hey Luis. I not only remember…I still have mine (OS 9)! Works perfectly well…for some things; just need to be selective about what I ask it to do. (Also have its big brother Pismo running Tiger, which is still an extremely competent machine.) When I take them out of their cases, I'm still amazed at the G3's build quality.

HT4007 The installed graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements for Aperture.
The installed graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements for Aperture. I have not used Aperture in a while and just got this error message. I tried applying OS updates and reinstalling Aperture and still get the same message. Does anybody have a solution or work around.
Are you using a non-standard Graphics Cards? Then this may be the reason.
You may also get this error message, if you accidentally booted into "Safe Boot Mode". Then certain extensions of the Graphics card will be disabled and Aperture cannot be launched.
Reboot and make sure that you this time will boot into regular boot mode.
See: Mac OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode?
If you are indeed running the system in Safe Mode, the question is, what made this happen? Do you use a wireless mouse and keyboard? There is a strange bug that makes Mac OS X boot into Safe mode, if you turn the wireless devices on, while the system is booting. Make sure they are active, before you boot.
But if you did not boot into Safe Mode, you could try to boot into this mode to reset the graphics card and then boot again into regular mode.
Merry Christmas!

Installed graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements for AP...
2006 MP with an HD 2600 and a 7300 GT card installed, 8 GB RAM, OS 10.4.11. Tried to install Aperture v1 from CD and got the error message "The installed graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements for Aperture" which disallowed upgrading to v1.5.6 because v1 would not install. So I downloaded and installed the v2 trial and got the same error message.
The release lever on the 7300 card would not work so I left it in slot 1 for now rather than risk breaking the card. That put the HD 2600 card in slot 2, which is not optimum but I do not think it should cause problems.
23" ACD connected to the HD 2600 card.
Ideas? I perused the threads and found similar reports but no solutions.
TIA
-Allen WicksAnswering my own question, I moved the ACD connection to the 7300 card and v2 Aperture installed OK.
Now I guess I need to get precise details on how to eject the 7300 card (mainly better directions than Apple's as to exactly what direction to force the release lever toward). I applied way more force than I am accustomed to and the card did not release.
Comments appreciated, TIA.

i would like to run the most secure version of firefox on my computer, but my computer does not meet the system requirements for the latest version. is there a way i can have the security of firefox 8 and still be able to run it on my old computer. i currently an running firefox 3.6. it is a bit slow, but it is functional.
Currently Firefox 3.6.24 is as secure as Firefox 8.0.1 is. Firefox 3.6.x will continue to get security updates until next spring, although the exact date hasn't yet been determined.
Which of the system requirements are you lacking? <br />
Processor wise you're stuck with what you got, but RAM can be upgraded. WinXP is still supported in all versions of Firefox and will be continued to be supported until Windows drops support for WinXP sometime in 2014. -
Best way to announce that the hardware does not meet the minimum requirements
Hi Everybody!!!
I'm in the process of tiding my App up, and I stumbled into a requirement that needs to be addressed. I'm not quite familiar with the latest trends, so I was wondering if anybody could recommend a way to inform the user if the hardware
to use does not meet the minumum requirements.
In a nutshell:
* I just created a game using Direct3D / DirectX 11,
* I'm using "DrawIndexedInstanced", which means that the videocard to use should meet at least DirectX v10 (my shaders are using model 9_3 but I tested it in a computer with DirectX9 model 3 (or so the nvidia brochure said), and the game pretty
much died in my arms).
* According to the App Certification Requirements: "if you choose a minimum feature level higher than 9_1, your app must detect at launch whether or not the current hardware meets the minimum requirements. If not, the app must display a message to
the customer detailing the Direct3D requirements."
* I know how to detect the Direct3D level supported by the current videocard. What I would like to know is how to tell the user that the videocard does not support the minimum requirements.
I don't have much knowledge about the current trends:
* I assume that displaying a message box may not be the best option, as that would mean I need to link the MFC layer to do so (the game is in Visual C++ and that's what I would do if it were one of my day-job projects). I'm quite sure that
is too much of a library just to show a message box... not to mention that most likelly the MFC is no longer supported in a Metro application...
* I was thinking about displaying a nice graphic warning about the issue, but if the D3DDevice1 is not what I expect then I don't think I can be sure that at least it can display the graphic with the information.
* I'm not quite sure if I should be linking to a .NET Library ("System.Windows.Forms" comes to mind), but then again maybe it's too much of a library for just a messagebox.
* Then again, displaying that message in a command prompt may not be the best idea either.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Best Regards,
Tarh Ik
Tarh ikHi Chuck,
I tried your idea, but the game always crashed when calling the DrawIndexedInstanced() function in a computer that only supported DirectX Level 9.1 (plenty of those computers at my day-job, sometimes I swear this office could be
a museum). The crash started as a driver unload call, and after that everything goes down.
I also tried using the WARP mode, but the performance was horrible, and after a minute of playing I started to have temperature issues with the CPU (I did not see that one coming)
What I finished doing was to create two sets of shaders (pixel and vertex):
* If the feature reported by D3D11CreateDevice was 9_3 or above, I'd use my very own and happy shaders, compiled in 9_3 model. Beautiful performance with DrawIndexedInstanced().
* If on the other hand the feature reported by D3D11CreateDevice was either 9_2 or 9_1, I'd use a set of shaders compiled for level 9_1. That seemed to be enough to draw a couple of images on the screen and tell the user, using my own game elements,
that the computer did not match the hardware requirements.
It looks like this was a good approach. My game passed the certification test, and it is currently on the AppStore.
Best Regards,
Tarh Ik
