When I go on iphoto, several of my pictures don't show up. I can see them in the menu but when I click on them, a large exclamation point is in their place. I can't edit them or view them in a slideshow. Also, i've noticed that when I log into myspace, some of the ads are replaced by codes. Does this mean I have a virus????

That is strange. In iPhoto select one with the problem and open properties, usually it will tell you that the file is not found and asks if you want to locate it, but if as you say, the file is there, then perhaps a different error message appears.
On the myspace subject, the short answer is yes, there could be a virus on one of their pages or files. They post advisories when one is found, in fact the "code" you reported seeing could be a disarmed virus (they blocked some javascript virus and the end result is invalid code that just shows in your browser).
When it comes to virus things are too general, there's always the possibility that somebody can come up with a new one, find new ways to spread it, etc. One can only be careful and try not to download suspicious files, and even more careful about executing (double click) them.

I've tried using Caleb's approach (which is the same as I used with Lion), but the programme doesn't respond now that I have installed Mountain Lion.
My problem is that I do not want to use IE7 but that a programme I need regular access to will only allow IE7 and I've been told by the developers that it is too expensive to upgrade this programme to allow it to be used by other browsers.
So, my puzzle remains the same. I could access IE7 and use the programme using Caleb's solution with Lion. I can't do the same with Mountain Lion. I do (I think!) understand your point about the programme requiring IE7 specifically, but if it worked on Lion, why isn't it working on Mountain Lion? Or was I just lucky before?
I'll try mende1's approach, though I doubt I'm technical enough to virtualise anything!

you need a lr serial for mac. the serial number for pc and mac are different.
you can download a trial lr 4 for your mac but you need a mac serial number to install.

If you are saying that the iPod asks for the password for the network and you do not know it, what may work is to turn on iCloud keychain for the iPod and iPad., Thet may sync the password from the iPad to the iPod

If I understand correctly, you want to pass distinct values to report parameter. In Reporting Service, there are only three methods for parameter's Available Values:
None
Specify values
Get values from a query
If we utilize the third option that get values from a dataset query, then the all available values are from the returns of the dataset. So if we want to pass distinct values from a dataset, we need to make the dataset returns distinct values. The following
sample is for your reference:
Select distinct field_name from table_name

Hello,
I take it you haven't unticked any of the songs listed on your iTunes Library? Also have you tried selecting all your songs which you wish to add to your iPod, and dragging them over your Devices "iPod Nano"; and seeing if that copies all songs on to your iPod?
Another idea is just check that your iPod has enough space for the rest of your songs to be added to your device.

In addition the US Supreme Court has ruled that making a copy of a DVD for personal use or as a backup is perfectly legal, we've been doing that with CDs for as long as it has been possible, same for video tapes.
What is illegal is breaking any DRM protection on the media (this holds true for all media not just DVDs) and actually even this is a bit murky. What is definitely illegal is to sell software to break DRM. However if you write your own DRM breaking software and use it to make personal copies or backups the law gets real gray.
So again as long as there is no DRM involved its OK, with DRM you're best to leave it alone.

There is no built in function to make this happen.
Your options are:
Upgrade the existing hard drive.
Try creating a link for the app folder on the external drive... this may or may not work.
Realistically, a larger hard drive is a better solution, then use the external drive for keeping a backup of the ENTIRE iTunes folder and any other personal data on the system.

In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:

From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.
