I just caught a thing called nation advanced search on my iMac computer, which I think is a spyware. When I want wo go to google chrome it redirects me to this ominous nation search engeen. Has anybody got some information about it and how I can get rid of it? What does can it do to my data and is it really a spyware? I have found a solutiton to the problem I was having. I hope that many more can benefit from the information I will provide.
I started at Finder, then went to GO selected COMPUTER and then Machintosh HD, then Library, Scripting Additions folder and trashed all that was there. This is what worked for me, if you choose to not delete your content its up to you. Happy Computing.

When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).

In the process of updated to iOS 5, my iphone4 performed a backup, after installing IOS5 it performed ANOTHER backup (not sure why), but without all my stuff being synced from iTunes, now the backup file (and my phone) contain NOTHING!

I really need my contacts and photos backOk. I have 2 hard drives and one of them died apparently so..not knowing what to do, I did chose reinstall Lion after command r open start-up. The whole thing is a mess but my computer is back up and running with the second hard drive. I had a time machine backup which I've been dragging stuff out of. i had to re enter serial numbers and do all sorts of initial set up stuff. 1) How do I get all of my icons (like my HD icon and external drives icons) to appear on my desktop again? I can only find them through a finder window. 2) i now have to type a password to get into my computer (user) - I 'm the only user and don't want to have to do that.

when i purchase music from my ipod in the wifi itunes store the next time i sync it to my computer it gets erased, it doesnt even transfer anywhere, its completely gone, and i bought over $40 worth, and its all just gone. this has happened before but i didnt pay attention to it and i bought a same album again, and when i went to purchase it it said to me are you sure youd like to buy this you already have before and i said ok.
i cant just look past this one guys, i lost alot of music and money. there has to be somehting i can do

HayleyFirst off you need to figure out how you are erasing the music. I say "you are erasing the music" because it's very unlikely that its just disappearing. Make sure you are signed into the same account in itunes (top right hand corner of the main itunes store screen) as you used to purchase the music on the ipod. Next make sure you are signed into the same account on the computer. How are you syncing the ipod with itunes, manually, automatically, only certain playlists? After you figure out whats happening with your music you could contact apple at http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/browser/ from what I've heard they will sometimes allow you to redownload any purchased music ONCE, so decide on whether its worth it or not at this point. Finally always backup any purchases you make to a seperate location!

I unchecked all the songs in my library, how can I get them checked back?
I was trying to uncheck some songs in my library so that they would not transfer to my ipod. I guess i held down shift or control to uncheck the group when I had a few songs selected. Now all my songs in my library are unchecked. I want to update my ipod but I am afraid that when I plug it back up that it will erase all the songs off my ipod since they all are unchecked in my library. I have quite a bit of music in my library and do not want to recheck the songs that I want to transfer again. Is there any way to rebuild the original checked songs?

No, there is not.
You might find it advisable to make a smart playlist of "Checked Songs" and to occassionally back this playlist up into a normal playlist. This way, if you accidently check or uncheck everything, all you have to do is to pick your checked backup playlist and check all the songs in it.
You can make a Smart Playlist for checked songs by using a rule of 'Comment is not dkjbdsk' (or some other nonsense) and turning on the "Match Checked Songs Only" flag. Then you can back that up into a non-smart playlist by selecting all the songs in the smart playlist and using the File->New Playlist from Selection menu option. -
I backed up my iPad before I reset it and all my tv series and music and photos was on my iCloud but when I tried to redownload them from the purchased section but when I tried none of my movies I bought was there if there is anyone way I can get them back without buying them again tell me please!
If you are in the US then you should be able to download some or all of your films : re-downloading. If you are not in the US then have you not got them on your computer's iTunes and/or on a backup ?

I have 3 iPhones, one iPad and 2 PC's, all using the same iTunes account. I want to be able to have each iPhone keep their own list of accounts and music list and the I pad different as well. I want to 2 PC's music list to match. How do I do this?

Recently updated Apple ID and PW. After change, all the photos were gone from Photo Stream. How do I get them back?
Did you create these notes in the iPad notes App ... I assume?
This support article will explain how you can restore from a backup - which is what you have to do in order to have any chance of recovering your note.

But you have to remember, that you will lose any of the notes that you have taken since the date of the last backup. If you synced your iPad last week, then you will lose a whole week of current notes - or whatever notes you have created since your last backup. When you restore from a backup - you restore everything in that backup onto the iPad - that was on the iPad on the time and date of the backup.
If you backup every day, then all of your notes should be recoverable from the backup - except for any notes that you took since you last backed up. There is no foolproof way to recover everything once you start taking more notes or creating new documents or whatever that you do in an app unless you are syncing those notes with iCloud and backing up all of the time or unless the app is set to sync with iCloud as you work on the files - like in Pages, Numbers or Keynote - Apple's iWorks apps.
If you decide to restore from an iTunes backup you should turn off at sync before you try restoring because iTunes will want to backup your iPad right away when you plug it in and you will lose your old or last backup. -
