This has got to be a routine task for BA's.

I have installed Oracle 10g(the free download version) on a linux box.
The install included a user "HR" with schema, objects and data.
I want to add 3 users that can select, insert, update & delete from the
same database and data.The users will use the same reports and forms.
There must be a script to perform this routine task.
Synonyms don't include the primary key. Thus the new_users can not
create application reports.
All users are on the same box(not remote).
QUESTION:
Is there a script that performs this routine task of adding a new user
for this purpose?

I'm now restricted, but this has got to be unfair?

I know a lot of people moan about BT, generally about speed and the 100gb fair usage limit, but personally myself I have always been a fan. I get decent speeds and I know the 100gb limit is there and for me that’s more than enough.
This month however I've gone a little mad. I've been watching an enormous amount of the World Cup online (STV provide great HD streams) and I decided to take advantage of the Sky Player on my xbox catching up on films. A great episode of The IT Crowd on 4OD inspired me to watch a load more stuff there as well.
So fair enough, all this seemed to have pushed me close to the edge, so I got the famous 80gb warning email yesterday. So I instantly stopped downloading anything, stopped streaming stuff online and decided to watch normal TV instead. 20gb for 4 days seemed fine to me!
But just now, I had another email. Apparently, even though I effectively stopped using the internet, within 24 hours I have now gone over 100gb and will now be restricted for 30 days! I guess you can imagine I'm a little p***ed off? My guess is that obviously they didn't email me at the exact time I went over 80gb, making it completely impossible for me to have acted in time. And as for the pathetic excuse that I should install software to track usage, well as well as 4 computers in this house, I also have a Vodafone SureSignal box, a Sling box and an xbox. Would they like to show me how to track usage on those?
So it's like this... I like BT, I have BT Vision, I have a BT line and obviously I use BT Broadband. But I also have Sky and until now have been holding off making the switch to Sky Broadband because I decided I liked BT Vision enough.
Is there anyone from BT listening that confirm if this is completely unfair? Maybe if they offer to lift the restriction I'll stay, but otherwise I'm afraid its bye bye to BT from a very loyal and once happy user.

This is one of things consumers need to complain to ofcom for.
They tout the product for streaming, downloading, online gaming, etc, etc and then throttle you for actually doing what they advertise you can do.
Hopefully for me I've only got a about 1 month left with BT before I move to another supplier, whose guarantining around 35mb-40mb (nearly 20x times faster than current speed) speeds via VDSL and NO Retrictions or Throttling, as BT aren't supplying their Infinity product in South Yorkshire, so I would be stuck with a maximum connection of just under 2mb.
So I'll rather pay the xtra £5pm to move as then i'll also be looking at possibly moving phones as well, as they don't need BT lines

This has got to be the worst 'Finder' in the history of the Mac. You can no longer find the file you are looking for without a painstaking search.

No longer easy to use. No longer logical. You now have to trawl through all the files just in case you missed what youi were looking for. Simple alphabetical order is all that is required not this over engineered confusion.

Clicking on the "name" column in any Finder list view will sort by name. Also, make sure you're not looking at the "All My Files" shortcut which is (in my opinion) confusing to many people and doesn't tell you where the files actually live.

Hi all, new here. I have a MSI-7093 motherboard. About 6 months ago, my internet connection started dropping. I would have to unplug my cable modem and plug it back in, then it would work. I had the cable guy out 4 times, they replaced my modem twice, and rewired all the cable in the house. It was still doing it. Then I came to the conclusion that there is something wrong with my computer. Sure enough, I used 2 different computers on my connection and the connection did not drop at all. Does anyone know what would be causing this? Is my motherboard bad? I reset all my BIOS settings, tried different settings and it still does it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds more like a driver problem to me. Download the latest version of the drivers, uninstall the old drivers and shut down the computer. Restart it and when it asks for drivers point windows towards the version that you downloaded.

I'm on a mac running 10.6.8, was using Firefox 6.02 when the problem started, i performed a clean install of 7.01, installed the latest Flashplayer, and reinstalled java (the 10.6.5 update file from apple's site).
I seem able to load video at youtube.com, and was able to load web-based irc chatrooms at ircchat.tv. however, at jamplay.com a paid member site, all of the lessons are flash video, and there's a live video feed chat room that is also flash based, and I am not able to view this content. the video content pops up the error message "Error: the xajax Javascript file could not be included. Perhaps the URL is incorrect?

I have contacted the jamplay site team but their recommendations are the steps I have already taken, mentioned above, that did not resolve the issue.

this one has a flash interface that, if things were working, would have a video in the center and members and staff talking abouth that area of the site when you click on one of the title buttons. Now that I am having this problem, nothing is clickable and there's no indication that there should be a video in the center. The error message regarding xajax does not come up at all.

I can't seem to recreate the actual error without being logged in as a member of the site.
The apple support team gave me a one-time free suppport ticket to troubleshoot an ethernet issue I was having. Unfortunately, the databases I removed were not deemed either by apple or me to be noteworthy or necessary to retain (all of them were for software I not longer have or use). I don't know which plist file might have been the one I need now. I did reinstall the java and flash items. The only other item that I think it might be is a set of belkin router software that I uninstalled because i'm not using any belkin hardware anymore.
If someone has any kind of idea I would be most appreciative.

That's a comment in the file. It has no effect at all.

Not user friendly behaviour for CNiNumEdit control when it has got a focus

The CNiNumEdit hasn't user friendly behaviour when it has got a focus on TAB event for example.
If you set a value in your prgram like this code:
m_ninumedit.SetValue ( 1234 );
and the focus is on other control and then you press TAB for changing the focus and the control m_ninumedit got it but it put the edit cursor in front of the first character '1'.
The correct behaviour would be that the control selects all characters to be ready to edit a new value.
The later versions that 7.1.0.313 have a bad behaviour (cwui.ocx)

Doing the same task for different data.. Do I need Queues? How to use them if yes?

I have created a VI which is getting data from some FTP server and then after comparing with the HDD specified folder copy the missing data from the FTP ... Description is also in the VI. There are few things I need to ask.
1) The email sending VI gives error 1172..What could be the reason .. is it firewall.. or is there any mistake in the code?
2) As you people are experts so I really like any suggestion to improve the VI..
3) The most important .. Currently this VI can only perform the whole task for one FTP folder. Actually my task is I need to check for 4 different FTP folder on different servers..its not 4 different folder in one FTP .. its 4 different FTP.Now my question is how I can do this: First it compare and copy from FTP1.Then FTP2... and so on.. How can I change the data for the cluster for different FTPs? Do I need to use queues? If yes how because I don't have any experience with queues.
I will really appreciate is someone can either provide me the relevant example or can give me some idea.

Please see the attached "Final test.vi".. actually my top level vi should be like this.. due to this reason I need to develop the cluster like one with name "Settings" as shown in Enum FTP events.vi.. In this cluster all the data types are not constants (but can be set as constants) and further all of them are not of same type so whenever I try to create as you created I have got error, wire broken..so what do you think i should do.. In this cluster there are different types of data .. string, path, numeric, array and a cluster with name file properties also... can't figure out what to do..I know things are little scattered and wiered but due to lack of experience, I guess, I am now a little bit confused for this matter. I

Objectives Setting Task for new Joiners

If the objectives setting period is from 01-Jan-2013 to 31-Mar-2013 and the appraisal period is from 01-Dec-2013 to 31-Dec-2013 it is understood that the objective setting period is closed on 31-Mar-2013. Now if there are new joiners during the year how can they set their objectives. I know that we can use the Enroll program to enroll them into a plan but this does not enable the set objectives task for the new joiners. This is urgent please advice.

The performance cycle starts with Objective setting and ends with Assessments. For example: If I am having the performance cycle from Apr to March then below will be the dates i will use for setups:
Plan period - 01-Apr-XXXX to 31-Mar-XXXX
Objective setting - This is the period you want the objective setting to be available to employees. In this case if the assessment starts in Jan then the dates for Objective setting will be
Objective start date - 01-Apr-XXXX and Objective end date - 31-DEC-XXXX
Appraisal start date can be always after the objective end date.
If the above concept is clear then for new joiners the best practice is that you re-publish the plan once every month on a specific date to include the new joiners in the plan automatically based on the eligibility profile. You can try this out very easily, publish your plan and post that create a new employee and re-publish the plan the newly created employee will get enrolled into the plan

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

It's normal behavior. You don't have to worry about. Most of what's listed is just a report of what the utility finds., not necessarily that there is omething wrong.

May be your carrier but try a reset:

Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes, then restart the iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons until you see the Apple logo. If that don't fix you problem take a look at this link, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
