I'm not quite sure what you mean but I will guess. Until yesterday I allowed my apps to automatically make payments (you mean in app purchases right?). I disabled that feature after reading a few threads yesterday. The money is not missing though, I was sent an e-mail notifying me that I had purchased a game called KingdomConquest (for free) and that all my credit was used to buy kingdom conquest points. I would not have noticed the money was missing if not for that e-mail to be honest... I buy maybe 1 app a month. The thing that is missing however is my copy of KingdomConquest and the game points my credit was used to purchase... that doesn't show up in any of my downloaded stuff or on my ipod. Nor had I heard of this app before getting a bill for it. I think an app allowed access to my account because I only purchase things through my ipod and I had recently updated a few apps before I was hacked but had not purchased any new apps or added any new gift cards to my account.

So I sent off my iPod nano1st gen on the replacement program 4-5 weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything or the replacement delivery process hasn't went to the diagnosis phase. Just to clarify - When I requested my unlock from AT&T, I received an email from them that my unlock was approved. I verified with Apple that the unlock request had been processed, and then I just had to restore my phone. You can call Applecare at 800-694-7466 and ask them if your carrier has processed your request to unlock the phone. If not, you will need to contact the carrier again (as Gail pointed out - it is the carrier who unlocks the phone).

I am working on a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009) with boot camp running Windows 7 pro 64-bit. Windows crashes quite often now-a-days and I need to get this fixed. I heard that updating boot camp can help. Currently I am running Version 3.0.4 (322).
Only Apple could hamstring and tie Mac OS to Windows. There isn't any other than whether you can download the drivers into Windows (you can) but Apple puts a block on the installer setup even if your mac does not support it.
Windows 7 needs at least Boot Camp 3.1 and 3.3 is what you should already have. And you are not getting security updates if you don't have at least 10.6.8 as was pointed out. --- you arent using Software Update as you should. And you should backup and clone Mac (and Windows) as well.
You need Mountain Lion to use Boot Camp 5.x which supports Windows 7 & 8 and 64-bit.
I would upgrade to Lion if you can realizing that Rosetta and PowerPC are no longer supported though.

The download file is a .zip file. Double click it to uncompress it.

How do I format USB media to the FAT file system?
Use Disk Utility to format a disk to use with a Windows computer. Here's how:
Important: Formatting a disk erases all the files on it. Copy any files you want to save to another disk before formatting the disk.

Click Erase, and choose one of the following from the Format pop-up menu:
If the size of the disk is 32 GB or less, choose MS-DOS (FAT).
If the size of the disk is over 32 GB, choose ExFAT.
Type a name for the disk. The maximum length is 11 characters.

Hiya, Im thinking of buying my first ipod the Ipod Touch 32gb model. Will I be able to transfer the music I currently have stored in the form of CDs and already on my laptop onto the Ipod and if yes, how would I do this? I have heard from some friends that Apple and Itunes is notoriously limited in the types of formats that are accetable? I dont want to pay £249 on an Ipod only to find that Im locked into buying all my music from Itunes and I cant use the music that Ive already paid good money to buy from other sources. Many thanks JEM24 for your help. Ive just spent the best part of six hundred pounds on a new Sony Rx100m2 compact camera, so I have no interest in the Ipods camera at all really. I doubt Ill be watching many videos on it as Im very lucky in that I have a good Android tablet. Its more as a stock music player that Ill be buying the Ipod for, if indeed I do end up buying one. I dont like the idea of paying the exorbitant amount added for more memory space that Apple along with most other companies charge. In fact I read an article on this very subject just yesterday in the tech section of Flipboard. It stated in the article that in the case of the Iphone the actual cost of each additional gigabyte of storage to Apple et al is something in the order of 60p.. This is certainly not reflected in the price us the customer has to pay at the till.. Its for this reason primarily that Apple in particular, because their products do not allow adding expandable memory of your own in the form of cheap to buy cards, that nobody in their right mind buys the 64gig etc Iphones..I am aware that we are discussing my potential purchase of an Ipod Touch here but you see my point. Submitted a podcast five days ago, but haven't heard from iTunes
I submitted a podcast to the iTunes store on Friday (five days ago), but never received an email confirming that it had been received. I pinged it today and found out the feed ID, but still haven't heard from iTunes. Obviously, no luck finding it in the iTunes store.

Usually rather more than five days. The ID number you've found is presumably issued on submission - using it in the standard URL for the Store doesn't work -

It will once the podcast has been accepted, so you can use it to check. The time it takes for acceptance varies - it requires human intervention and obviously depends on the length of the queue you're in: it might take a couple of weeks so I'm afraid it's just a question of waiting. -

hiya - well i've written in the apps reviews a couple of times to join the swelling unhappiness
i'm sorta gobsmacked apple think ibooks crashing isn't so bad for business!? - they can't be seling many books i had a few but used the app mostly for storing pdf's which are now locked the wrong side of the app
mine happened the moment i updated to ios 7 and i'm thinking the pdf's trapped [can't get to delete them before the app auto closes back to an icon...grrrr] my fingers hurt ..ouch
so if i remove the app from the phone and remove it from itunes i thought i'd start with a blank canvas but those pdf's are just auto down loading from icloud...tried to find them in icloud but no luck yet
if i re install the app and get a new free book for instance and do no more the app will stay reliable but the moment i've brought the pdf view up i'm sunk for getting back to the books side of the thing
i updated the security patch 7.0.2 lst night praying the at apple had also include a fix for ibooks crash problem but no it's still the same - it's all very well saying just wait but that's not how i run my life

suggestions would be really helpful. ThanksHey braswell4AU: I have a similar issue. I purchased 2 iPhone 5's the first day they came out. Black 64gb for myself and white 32gb for my wife. She is having somewhat the same issues as you have. Wifi is weak and keeps dropping the signal, and also her phone almost never has LTE. And we are in a very strong Verizon LTE area in north Los Angeles county. My phone has never had any signal issues, wifi or LTE. I have been researching the issue to no avail. I though maybe the white with the brushed alluminum may cause signal issues, but haven't found anything on that and posts about the black one haven't problems blew that theory up.
I have also changed the SIM card and the phone itself and still the same problem. I saw a post about someone getting their phone swapped out and the apple rep told him not to restore the phone, but to just set it up as new. I have yet to try it, gonna try this weekend.. But it makes sense! I, like you have 6 apple devices (2 iPhone 5's, 2 iPhone 4's apple tv3, and the ipad3) and have no issues running all my devices via router.
So I am thinking about the history of the restores and backups and my wife is the only one that went from the 4 to the 5.. Every other device was setup as new. So my theory is that he iphone 5 has issues when you restore from previous backups.. Maybe something a little different from the backups of the previous models create issues in the iPhone 5's?
Like I said, I'm going to give it a shot this weekend and see what happens. If you get a chance to try this before, please let me know if it works and if I try before you I will update you.
