Ok, so i just bought a new hard disk with better memory, speed etc, and i installed windows vista 64 bit version on it. i had a 32 bit version on another hard disk but the hard disk is so bad i cant acces it anymore. So i download java and then when its installing it says this: "This installation package could not be opened. Verify the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package."
I have tryed ALOT of sulotions, downloading offline version, disaling firewall, auto protect norton, UAC, downloading other wersions of java but nothing works!!!! im getting tired of these error messages and i need a proper solution now!

So i download java and then when its installing it saysThis is kind of an obvious suggestion, but are you sure you downloaded the correct 64bit version for Windows? Check if you need the x86_64 version or the IA 64 bit version.

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

At what point in the process are you getting this message? Have you tried downloading a fresh copy of the iTunes setup file from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ ?
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Try the following:
Uninstall iTunes and Quicktime
Reboot
in the task tray right click the quicktime icon and click exit.
navigate to the folder in program files and remove the quicktime directory and all its files.
Reboot.
Now try install iTunes and quicktime and it should work

The update downloads, a message box opens stating that the file has an invalid signature, and the installer file is deleted. 10.6.3 has attempted to update numerous times, all with the same result. Update is up-to-date, downloading the file always produces the same result and every so often iTunes update comes up to repeat this process. With the volume of posts regarding this issue, why is it that the assumption is always to 'reinstall (repair) the software.' Why doesn't anyone take a look at whether something's broken with the upgrade? Too much trouble? You should try attempting to repair installs once a week or so, now _that's_ a hassle.

Let's check your Windows system.
1. Have you done all the important windows updates and service Packs on your system. If not do it now. START button, type in Windows Update and ENTER. Select 'CHECK FOR UPDATES'
2. Let's check your Windows system files for possible file corruption
SCAN and repair possible Windows system file corruption:
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
type in
sfc /scannow
let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer if it did actually repair any files.
3. Check your system for possible Malware. But you have to do it in WIndows Safe Mode.
Start your computer in "Safe mode with networking", go to this link download a free version of Malwarebyte.

Install and perform update immediately, then do a full SCAN. Remove malware if it indeed finds any. Restart computer to regular windows to let Malwarebyte complete the removal.

Press and hold the F8 key as your computer starts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you'll need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then shutting down and restarting your computer.
On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight the "safe mode with networking" option, and then press Enter. Log on to your computer with a user account that has administrator rights.
When your computer is in safe mode, you'll see the words Safe Mode in the corners of your screen. To exit safe mode, restart your computer and let Windows start normally.
