    Please help me.
I bought this iPhone from some one through Craigslist and he sold everything with box. He told he is disconnecting the service and moving to different phone.
When i try to factory restore it, it is giving the message "This iPhone is Linked to apple ID **********". I am trying to contact this person badly but not able to.
I sent couple of mails to his email, but it is bouncing back and the phone number is disconnected. Please help me

Contact the original owner of the iPhone for that information.
It is part of the new security in iOS 7, and there is no way around it.
You could also try to return the iPhone to the seller for a refund.

You are absolutely WRONG. Apple bears no responsibility in this at all. YOU purchased a STOLEN phone. You are guilty of receiving stolen property at best. Take it back to wherever you bought it and demand a refund. Failing that, turn it over to the police. You got ripped off. I'm sorry you wasted your money, but there is NOTHING Apple or anyone else can do for you. Only the rightful owner of the phone can unlock it.

  • I've got iPhone 5 from my aunt, i can use it before, then i make some mistake. now, i can't activation my iPhone. i don't know if this iPhone still linked with other Apple ID, my aunt didn't know about that. please help me :(

my iPhone 5 couldn't activation (i can use it before, but i make some mistake), help me how to activation my iPhone again, i don't know who is first hand my iPhone 5

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

  • Forget apple id ipad currently linked to apple id

I forgot apple id to activate locked iPad. How to log in with new id?

    Hello reti01,
If you need help with your Apple ID lock issues, try contacting AppleCare (800-APL-CARE).  They will assist you with AppleID and iCloud issues for free and can help you to find out which email you used for your Apple ID, and help you to deactivate the Activation Lock on the iPad.  If you are not the original owner,
You can have the device unlocked from another account one of two ways: you can get the person whom it belonged to before to remove it from their account or to go to Apple with you and have them remove it from their account.  Or, you can take the proof of purchase or proof of ownership to an Apple Retail store or call AppleCare at 800-APL-CARE to have them deactivate the lockout.  You will need absolute proof that you own the device or purchased it from the owner.

i put my Apple ID and password but dosnt work what shoul i do help please

Find My iPhone Activation Lock- Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
You will have to find the person whose Apple ID is currently tied to the phone. Only they can remove the activation lock. If you are unable to find them or they won't remove the lock, then your phone is useless. Take it back to the vendor and get your money back if you can.

  • Incorrect apple id cannot be used to unlock this iphone

Having a bit of a mare tonight. I have tried to restore from backup on my iMac to my girlfriends iPhone 5, I made the back up last night, and also backed up to iCloud  last night using her apple id and password. Now according to Apples advice, if iTunes says there is not enough space to restore, go to iPhone and delete all content and settings etc. I did this it asked for iCloud login details etc and I deleted all content, when I plugged in to iTunes to retrieve the previous backup, I cannot get past the activation lock because of password. I can login to iCloud OK, (the same ID used to back up to iCloud last night!) with password but it won't accept it. This is so stupid I don't know where to start, the phone is now completely bricked, and can't even be activated yet alone restored.
She has had this phone from new but iCloud has always been a mess on this phone since iOS 7.
    Any ideas??

    From iTunes

  • IPhone linked to Apple ID

    Hi
i bought used iPhone 5 from Dubai, and this phone was linked to apple ID & Password.
i couldn't opene it, and when i contact the old owner, he said, he don't know the mail ID & Password.
there is any possibility to do it?
    Mobile IMEI : 01 355200 4098765
    Mobile ICCID: 8901 4104 2766 9039 9353

No.  There is absolutely nothing that you can do and if the previous owner cannot remember all the details then there is nothing that you can do.  Return the phone to the previous owner and get a refund because you will never be able to use this phone.
You have come across the activation lock and there is nothing you can do about this.
Also, don't post personal information about your products on a public user forum.  This is not a good idea and you are not addressing Apple here - this is a public user forum.
Return the phone to the previous owner and get a refund - you will never be able to use this phone.

  • I got this iphone from a guy and everytime i tried to update the applications stored in this phone it keeps asking me the password that the guy used to use, even thou i created a new apple ID of my own and updated the account of icloud and everything in t

I got this iphone from a guy and everytime i tried to update the applications stored in this phone it keeps asking me the password that the guy used to use, even thou i created a new apple ID of my own and updated the account of icloud and everything in this iphone with the new apple ID, it still asks me the password of the account that the guy used to use whenever i tried to update the applications, and i cant find the guy who gave me this iphone...wt should i do???

Apps are permanently tied to the AppleID that downloaded them and cannot be transferred to another.  Best thing to do is delete the apps and download those you want or need under your AppleID.

  • HT1727 iphone could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iphone

why is itunes saying "iphone could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iphone"

I first called apple and they patched me to a technician who ran a test and determined that I had a virus. He gave me some price quotes and who to call. After my conversation with him, which I knew was BS btw, I immediatley called Geek Squad with whom my computer has a warranty through after they installed virus software on my new laptop (4 months old). I had a VERY long online session where they ran several virus test and found nothing. Although I was VERY happy that my computer didn't have a virus, I still had the problem of my itunes not working. After several hours, he made sure that all of my apps were down loaded, and then restored my iphone to factory settings, and sync my device. It worked perfectly and all and I mean ALL 240 apps were downloaded back onto my iphone along with my music and all of my tones. When asked why my itunes was acting in that manner the answer that I got was,"...apparently you had a correct file some where in itunes and everything had to be reset". Regardless, everything is back to normal and I don't have to get a new phone or delete itunes from my computer. Hope this helps!

  • I cant active mi iphone with my id apple

Hi friend, i have a big problem, im from venezuela and i have a iphone since 6 months new, but i made a restauration for some problems and i cant activated now, y change id a pasword many times, but the message is tha i cant activate this iphone with the id apple, in waer because have to say wrong id or password, I NEED HELP PLEASE, the iphone is mine all legal and i can prove it, but i need some comunication channel with apple to unlock mi iphone.

With activation lock (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5818), you can only activate it by entering the password for the ID that was originally activated with.  There is no way around this.  If you purchased it from someone else, you will have to get them to erase it and remove it from their account as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515.  No one but the previous owner can help you with this, including Apple.

Are you the original owner of this phone? If so sign in with the Apple ID and password you used when you first set it up.
Or did you buy is phone used? Contact the person you bought it from and have him/her correct the problem or refund your money.
You have encountered activation Lock that prevents stolen or lost phones from being activated. As stated the only way around this problem is to have the original owner clear the phone for your use.
