This is a general productivity/application request

I have been learning about MS OneNote. I like the functionality of this application.
From a project management side of life it seems ideal!
Currently, I have my hands dipped in multiple personal and professional projects. I would like to be able to manage all of these from a single location.
OneNote would work perfect, EXCEPT that I have upgraded my life to Mac. Now, OneNote is not an option unless I use bootcamp or something silly to run MS on top of my super duper Mac... personally... Im not interested!!
Anyone have suggestions for Mac or Online applications that can help me keep my life organized and simple?
please advise.
bam

I, too, am a former user & lover of MS OneNote, and am looking for something similar for mac. It seems like such a no-brainer to have such a user-friendly and intuitive program for the mac, but so far I have found nothing as good. I'm trying Circus Ponies Notebook right now, and it is not nearly as good. Can't just plop anything anywhere on any page, which is really frustrating. Anyone know of anything else I might try? Thanks.

  • In-House Product Clarification Request

I came across this term "In-House Product Clarification Request" recently. However, I am not sure what this is. Can anybody clarify or provide some useful information? All I know now about this is that this is a type of General Notification.
    Thanks in advance,
    APS

InHouse Product Clarification is a request sent from the Shop Floor to the Engineering and Design to report a problem pertaining to a product. The said product is usually an intermediate product used ina a stage of production and this product is responsible for some problems ocuuring at the shop floor.
The IHPCR is sent to the Engineering and Design division reporting the issue and seeking a clarification on the desing or behaviour of the said product.
If there is a fault with the engineering of the product, IHPCR is typically followed by an Engineering Change Request (ECR).

  • All Active Application Requests is empty

I have setup the Application Approval Workflow.  I use 3 different servers one for SCOR one for SCSM and one for SM Datawarehouse.  Everything appears to be set up correctly according to the AAW documentation.
Under All Applications in Configuration Items the applications are listed.  Under Applications Associated with Application Requests there are No items found.  Is this an association I need to create or should it list the Applications I have already
marked for requiring Approval in SCCM (2012 R2 CU3)  ?
Also in SCSM under Work Items - All Active Application Requests there are No Items Found.
In SCOR if I run the Runbook Tester for Application Request Synchronization it goes from Monitor - Get Counter Value - Check init Start - Check Max - Increment Counter.
I suspect the items listed above are empty because this Runbook is not completing fully.
If I disable CheckMax and Increment Counter to force it to route to the Get IsActive counter it doesn't run past Check init Start.
So the Sychronize Application Requests counter is not getting run.
Hope this makes sense and any feedback appreciated.
    Stephen

    Hi,
Please try to manually sync the application requests under Work Items by clicking
    Sync Now.
Please also check out the CM -> SM Synchronization Runbook and run through it once via Runbook Tester. This way you can get additional information for what particular application this activity failed. Then check what might be wrong with the application
    on SCCM side.

    Hi,
I do not think this is the right place for this question. This forum is for questions concerning the Oracle Scheduler in the database (dbms_scheduler). This looks like it may concern the apps scheduler or concurrent manager.
You will need to find the appropriate forum for that component.

  • Sync application request expired

Delivering the message to the application using connection ZENGIN_http://cresco-es.co.jp/sap/xi/adapter/zengin failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessageExpiredException: Sync application request expired.. Setting message to status failed.
    getting the above error.
using zengin we are getting the data into sap through PI.

    Hi,
Even then if you want , you can increase in production it will just ask for one RFC adapter service to restart and takes only 10-20 sec to restart.
    Thanks!

  • MessageExpiredException: Sync application request expired..

    Hi,
we are calling a SOAP HTTP AXIS receiver (web service) HTTP. Sometimes the service providers request
takes 3 minutes to reply and we get  the following exception :
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessageExpiredException: Sync application request expired.. Setting message to status failed.
I've set timeout parameter to 300000 milliseconds for parameter timeout of AF_Adapters/axis/AFAdapterBean but the timeout is still less... is there another place I need to increase the timeout.
    Thanks.
    Thierry

Your guess is as good as mine, but the question to answer here is, why is the response taking 3 minutes. If this is by design, then you may want to look at the design and see if asynchronous messaging works better for you. Playing with timeout will only lead you to a point but with 3 minutes of delay in a synchronous service is simply unacceptable even if there is no human being on the consumer side.
    Thanks

  • Simple application request

Application request to track multiple items. I need an app that will allow me to click a button and time stamp one event and then click another button to time stamp a separate event. I would like to be able to click it into a list that has time/ event name.

You're being specific in what you are trying to achieve. Now you need to be specific in exactly what help from us you are trying to solicit.
What code do you have and what's not working?
As well, you may have better luck on the iOS Development forums. This does involve iOS, right?

  • HT1338 i purchased dvd studio pro and im trying to install it but when i go to click continue it gives me this  "you cant open the application gestalt tool becasue powerpc applications are no longer supported" what does that mean and how can i fix this ?

i purchased dvd studio pro and im trying to install it but when i go to click continue it gives me this  "you cant open the application gestalt tool becasue powerpc applications are no longer supported" what does that mean and how can i fix this ?

I note this information from Wikipedia: "DVD Studio Pro was a high-end software tool published by Apple Inc. to allow users to create DVD masters to be sent out for replication at production houses. Its tight integration with other Apple applications allows users to take Final Cut Pro and Motion projects and render them into the DVD format without encoding to intermediary formats. This streamlines the production workflow and reduces overhead."
If that is your intent, finding a substitute program that will run on your Mac may not be as efficient.  Others can advise you on alternatives, or you can post a new thread specifically with that question.
BTW: what Mac and what version of OS X?
If it is important to you to continue to use DVD Studio Pro, consider the option of installing Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels on your Mac:

  • Cannot  unasssign   hierarchy  to Product Application

    Hi Gurus
Friends, I made a mistake by assigning a test-Hierarchy(custom) to  Product Application  in IMG, and I did the same to Product Type.  Beside that,  I created a product with such hierarchy, now I need to unassign it to assign the true one.
I read help about it, and I´m aware it cannot be unassigned, Do someone have any idea how to unassigned o deleted them, please????
I´d be thankful whether whom help me to do it...!
path: Cross application components->Sap products->Product category->Assign Category  Hierarchies to applications

    Hi Efrain,
Try deleting the product first and then change the hierarchy assignment. To delete the product use the report COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE. This will generate a bdoc automatically. If you do not want a bdoc ( I think in your case, you do not want the BDOC to be generated), debug this report and set the variable p_send to space.
After you delete the product, I think you should be able to change the hierarchy assignment.

  • An error was received while reading backup file- Cancelling Operating system error 995(The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request.).

    Hi,
We have been getting the below error while restoring a database onto SQL Server 2008. We are using lite speed and performing a full restore. When we restart the server, the restore is completed cleanly but every 3 or 4 days once, the restore is failing.
We have tried everything from installing a patch that was supposed to fix it but it is not.

The backup is getting validated successfully but failing while trying to read it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • SCCM 2012 Application request log information

I'vent yet got the opportunity to make the users request for Applications from the application Catalog. However, I'd like to know what is the log file name and how this entry looks like when users request for an application in Application catalog. I'd
also like to know complete information in Log files for the approval process (User requesting the application to Approving / Rejecting Application)

There is not really much information logged about that process. You might find something in status messages (\Monitoring\Overview\System Status\Status Message Queries)

  • Product Enhancement request process

Is there an official way to submit a formal product enhancement suggestion?
One of the things I miss about BOE XI R2 is the way the CMC constructed the "User List" display.  It created the logical equivalent of "page tabs" across the top of the frame, with each "tab" listing the first user on that tab.  It was trivial to find the user I was looking for, by simply selecting the "tab" representing the page that contained that user.
I haven't used XI 3, but I've recently installed XI 4.0, and the equivalent "User List" display under "Users & Groups" isn't nearly as easy to use.  When I expand "User List" it says "Too many objects".  I was thinking that it would be a very simple enhancement to replace that (useless) message with a set of objects representing the pages of users.  Each object listed under "User List" could have an object name of the first userid on the page of users.  That would give me functionality equivalent to the R2 "page tabs", and allow me to immediately jump to the exact page containing the userid I'm searching for.
I don't mind submitting this suggestion as an official Product Enhancement Request.  But, I'm unable to find a description of the process I should use to do that.
    Thanks
    Bill

    Hi,
you could pase your idea at the "IdeaPlace" on the top right of the SDN Page.
The second way would be transmitting a Message to the SAP Support using the Service Marketplace. In this Message you could request it as Feature in future releases.
