This is a hint to anyone who cannot find their airprint printer from their ipad: after 10 hours of trying everything imaginable, i can now print directly from my iPad by turning off the bluetooth in settings and waiting for 30 seconds. presto!

I could print from email or the cloud, but not directly from my ipad. After reading a discussion about bluetooth printers, i turned off bluetooth in settings, waited 30 seconds, and voila!! I was able to print directly from my ipad. Try it if you are having troubles

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

I accidently clicked for a full screen view on Firefox and now I can't undo it. My bar with tools, bookmarks, etc. is not visible. As the browser opens, the bar appears but then jumps up where it can't be reached. How do I turn off the full screen without access to view options?

I get this message when I am trying to save a file that was done in CS4, now using CS6 "Cannot save the file as the font "ArmenianLSU-italic" could not be embedded because of licensing restrictions. Turn off the pdf compatibility option and try again." Even if I start a new file I unable to save it with this font. I need to use this font.
Then you need to outline all text before savng the PDF.
Make sure you do this on a copy of the file. -
I just tried to update my iPhone 4 and it said it was successful, but now I have a message (USB icon - arrow- iTunes icon) that is frozen? I have turned off the phone, unplugged USB and reconnected and closed out of iTunes and back in. Any suggestions?

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Trying to restore my iphone 5c, but it says i have to turn off the 'find my phone' option in icloud. when i try, it brings up the wrong apple id. I reset it under itunes & app store in settings but still not working...frustrated!
Open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, click Restore button of iTunes on computer.

I have just upgraded my 2014 iMac to YOSEMITE. Now my Bose Soundlink bluetooth speaker connects, beeps as normal, but produces no sound from the Bose speaker whatsoever. HELP PLEASE
I have now recently downloaded 10.0.2 which is confusing in itself, as, as far as I can ascertain that is actually version 11, but I'm not even sure about that.
Version 10.0.2 is the newest version and the successor to GarageBand '11 (version 6.0.5).
The '11 is referring to the iLife '11 suit of multimedia application - the older GarageBand was a part of this bundle.

How do I turn off the multiple windows aero peek feature for CS5 on Windows 7?
I'm not sure if this only happens with floated windows but in Photoshop CS5, when I have multiple files open, each one of those files have their own windows open on the Windows 7 taskbar. I'd like it all to be combined as one like how it was in CS4. I searched through the preferences and couldn't find anything related to this problem. Does anybody know how I can turn this off?

That you chose not to use Vista is also part of the problem. Many things in Windows 7's UI are evolved from Vista's changes. You're viewing Windows 7 from the perspective of one who has changed suddenly from XP, and that is no doubt a shock.
You also expect it to be a system that facilitates work, and that's a fundamental problem. Windows is now first and foremost an entertainment vehicle for the masses. Those of us wanting to use it for real work have to work at it to tune it up for that task.
If you sense the resource usage of Windows 7 Aero then quite possibly your computer isn't up to the task. When run with a good video interface Aero becomes smooth and instantly responsive, and that (with a few tweaks besides) actually makes using Windows quite a pleasure. It definitely can be made to get out of the way and lets you concentrate on the work.
The basic trouble is, Microsoft doesn't make changing to any new version of their operating system an easy task...
As a career computer/software engineer, I chose to understand Windows 7 from the inside-out (for the first time ever I ran the beta versions in a virtual machine, to get used to it). I've had to find dozens of tweaks and turn off a number of things that shouldn't be running.
AFTER ALL THAT I can say Windows 7 is a dynamite system, that often outperforms XP (both in compute power and in UI performance). And it's more stable than any version of Windows to date.
I can only encourage you to stay with it. It may take a year or more, but it really does grow on you. On my main Windows 7 workstation I run virtual machines with XP and Vista almost daily for development testing, so I haven't forgotten their UIs, and I sure would never want to go back!

HT204368 How do I stay connected to a Bluetooth device but turn off the bluetooth music playback?
I have bluetooth through my car. it is really handy to use while driving. However, if i'm listening to music in my car through an AV adaptor, turn off my car, and turn it back on, the music starts playing through the Bluetooth. I don't want this to happen. It is really hard to maneuver through and drains my battery. In iOS 5 there was a way to turn off BT Audio playback. I can't seem to find that setting with the new iOS 6 update.

After Autoflowing a tax return and viewing the output in PDFlyer, there are certain totals and names of clients that are highlighted in green and some in purple. Some tax reviewers prefer to have that feature turned off and have nothing highlighted. Is it possible.

GaryAny documents that were scanned with AutoFlow have certain fields highlighted. E.g. SS numbers, names and addresses, dollar amounts. These forms were generated by a third party and after scanning them, the boxes on the form are now highlighted in green (just the amount is highlighted, not the entire box).

How do I turn off the Log In Screen that asks for my Password?
I recently installed FCP 6 on my MBP, and ever since then when I turn my computer on from being shut down, it ask me for my password before loading up.
It used to not do this, but now it does. I don't have a password set, so I just hit enter and it loads, but I would like for it to go back to where it doesn't ask for the password.
Where is this setting at? All I can find is the "set password from sleep". Thanks for the help.System Preferences -> Accounts panel -> Login Options -> click the lock and enter admin password -> click to select your accountname in left pane -> select that accountname to login automatically.

You could then create a launchd .plist that runs at boot time and invokes the program with the brightness settings you perfer. -
