I have just received my new phone yesterday,
i chose the latest back up and waited for it all it restore.
It finally did it but not all photos were there.. I've heard that
it erases them out of photo stream after 30 days but these
we're my holiday photos from 3 week ago. It said that
i needed more storage to finish the back up so I thought
it might have something to do with that so I bought some
more. It backed up another time from an earlier date but
still no recent pictures. It's weird because it's backed up
some photos from the holiday but missed out a lot of
photos before the ones that have backed up But also
missed a lot after the ones that have backed up from
the holiday. Please help me get all my pictures back!!

Maybe using Oracle Discoverer Administrator?Yes, you can use the administrator and log in as the EUL owner, then you can export the workbook into eex file and import it again but with the "change ownership" flag on.
Alternately you can open the user, share the report and close it again.
another option is to go to a cloned environment alter this user, use the user (in the cloned env) to login into discoverer desktop,
then you can save the report as DIS file.
once you saved the report locally you can login as yourself to the production and run the report from the local path. after it is opened you can save it to the DB.

Anybody Pre-Order that hasn't been charged yet?

I Successfully pre-ordered on the 15th and received e-mail confirmation of delivery by the 24th, but I haven't been charged yet. Everything looks ok in the order status but I've read a lot of people saying that they've already been charged, should I be concerned?

I ordered two at about 4:30 Eastern on the 15th. My first went through fine and is pending on my credit card, but between the first and second AT&T put 3 $1 holds on my account, which caused the fraud department to shut my card off. The order went through, but I got a call from my card that said they declined the charged. I looked today and it said my first order was on the 15th and the second was on the 16th. So after several attempts to get through to AT&T Premier, thinking I was gonna get it on launch day, they said that the time stamp was the 15th when I originally placed it, so I'll get it on the 24th. My advice is to call and make sure that the order is actually placed, because this whole thing is a huge mess.

These car enthusiasts have very rear cars, expensive cars, or both and don't want to mount or hold the Apple devices while driving at high speeds but at the same want to see the information on the Apple devices. Roll Forward consistent-closed database copy, that hasn't been opened yet

I was told that it is possible to do this;
1. Shutdown the database
2. copy accross to another server
3. mount the database
4. roll forward the database if there had been some archived redo logs generated after the original database had been started up.
Please if you can provide the command(s) to do that...

1000 Questions that should have been answered in a User's Manual

My Time Capsule came with instructions on how to set it up but nothing on how to use it successfully, nor do I find anything like that here except for those few issues that someone has already asked about. I'm a longtime Mac user (since about 1983) but not a computer "expert". So I've got this device I hoped I could use much like an auxilliary drive, storing and retrieving large files to/from it as well as using it for backup. But I find it doesn't work the way I expected.
1. I did a dumb thing and interrupted my initial backup--because I ejected the Time Capsule by accident. I read the short bit here about what to do if that happens and it seemed like I could just start over so I did. Right now, backup appears to be proceeding. There is a drive image that appeared on my desktop entitled "Backup of (computer)". I don't know why that's there or whether it will go away when the backup is finished or what to do with it if it doesn't. I double checked to make sure I have selected the Time Capsule as my backup destination in Time Machine and so far as I can tell I have.
2. Is there a way to mount the Time Capsule drive on my desktop and/or use it for data storage other than backup? I got the 1 TB model but the drive I want to back up is only 100 GB so I have far more room than I should need for backups and expected to be able to use that space to store video files etc.
3. Should I ever need to access the files "backed up" to the Time Capsule drive, at this point I don't think I even know how to copy them to my computer's drive since "drag and drop" doesn't seem to work and I don't know how to mount the TC drive to my desktop.
4. I have an auxilliary Firewire drive hooked up to my computer but it is "greyed out" in Time Machine--apparently not available for backing up--whereas USB2 drives similarly connected are available. What's with that? Any way to back up my firewire drive?
My bottom line is there needs to be a users' manual covering all this and more but I hope someone here can provide a few of the answers I need.

I am not the computer expert too, try to share some of the experience.
1: When the Time machine is working with Time Capsule, the "Backup drive" appear and it will disappear after the Time machine finished it job. You do not need to brother that
2: Once you connected to Time Capsule, you should see a network drive in your Finder under "Shared". That's the one you can access to drag and drop thing into. However I think you better wait until the initial Time machine backup finished before you put else things into the Time Capsule.
3: Are you refer to the Time Machine back up file in your Time Capsule? To use that backed up files you need to open Time Machine to reveal back your old file, not to access that directly.
4: I can't help that.
I do agree that the Time Capsule user manuel is very bad in it information.

When I try to download a library book on my Kobo reader, I keep getting this message. First it tells me to change the computer's authorization to be associated with an Adobe ID. Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help, and indeed installation can even trigger this state.
Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.
Another is "E_AUTH_NOT_READY"
This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).
Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your (old) Adobe ID.
In extreme cases on the mac, the following extra step has helped some people. Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. Get the error about it not being activated properly so i tried to log an online support ticket twice on two seperate days but get another error saying sorry we can't process this request now try later. Very frustrated, my son has a $20 voucher from Christmas he can' t use.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
