This is crazy....iphone 6 delivery

I'm really not happy with the support from this company and the craziness surrounding delivery dates. I ordeedr the iPhone 6 64gb great and it went through at 315 est bc the servers were overloaded. at the order confirmation page it said delivery date 9/19. Then the next morning the email came through and said delivery date 10/7. Now when you check the order online it says unavailable. this is madness, and i won't be happy if i don't have my phone on friday...

This phone is not doing this.

Are you using a case around your phone? If yes, did you make sure the proximity sensor is not covered?
Try without the cover to make sure the sensor is working.
A protection film on your screen can also cover the sensor and result in a dysfunction of the sensor.

IPhone 6 delivery date changed

My iPhone 6 delivery date had changed from 10/14 to not available at this time? Can someone from Verizon please help me track down my order?

This isn't as simple as just saying "the confirmation email is not correct". The 'Deliver By' date shown on the site during checkout for a lot of users, myself included, was 9/19/2014. The only reason I ordered via Verizon, rather than Apple's site, or rather than making an in-store reservation, or rather than visiting a Verizon store is because you put that 'Deliver By: 9/19/2014' date, nicely highlighted, during the entire checkout process. There was nothing indicating that this was estimated or would change. My confirmation email arrived and I was elated to have an actual confirmation number and confirmed delivery date.
If you are telling us that this date was completely wrong, from the time I opened up the website and clicked to add the item to my card...that's just flat out misrepresentation on Verizon's part. If the website had shown 10/14, I never would have ordered. I would have gone to Apple's site and made a reservation, or had one shipped. But now that's impossible because I assumed that the date on your website, listed as 'Deliver By', was actually valid and would be honored.
This is extremely poor customer service and I want my 'Deliver By' date in my confirmation email honored.

There seems to be a lot of confusion on when everyone will actually receive the iPhone 5. Pre-orders for new devices have approximate delivery dates and are never official. For an example, Dave pre-ordered an iPhone 5 on 09/15 but there is still a possibility the device will be delivered to the address by 09/21. I've seen this happen many times. Here are the delivery dates for iPhone 5 pre-orders:

Iphone 4 delivery time UK

Hi all,
I have just placed an order for my iphone4 online. Before ordering, The website listed 3 weeks shipping time.
I was emailed my confirmation which states the following dates -
shipped: 13 aug,
delivered: 20th Aug.
This is 4 weeks until delivery. I am going away for 6 weeks on the 17th so I need it before then.
Do you think these estimates are fairly accurate? or should i cancel my order?
Can anyone in the UK tell me how long it took for them?

I was in 2 minds about making a reservation at an Apple store but in each store when I asked about when they would be receiving stock I was given a different answer so I decided to order online then I would at least get some sort of idea when it would arrive.
Firstly I would call the Regent Street store and check you are still on the waiting list as I’ve heard a lot of cases from people who thought they were on a waiting list but then it turned out that they either got deleted or they didn’t register properly so wasted 2 or 3 weeks waiting for nothing.
Secondly even if you are on the waiting list I would still place an order on-line as it’s easy to cancel if the waiting list phone arrives first.
It does appear that most iPhones arriving in the UK are going straight to the carriers rather than direct to Apple stores and with the phone launching in another 18 or so countries this Friday stock is going to be even more stretched then it already is.

The two iPhone 4S were just delivered.
It was my regular FedEx guy. He looked really worn out. He is always good to me, as I am to him, so I know he got here as fast as he could. He did say there were a lot of iPhones left to deliver.
Setting up the phones via iCloud backup was a breeze. Verizon activation was quick. Beautiful phones. Definitely worth the wait and the angst. SMILE!

If you dont have none option then you must own itunes some money. So you have to enter the payment like a itunes giftcard. you can contact itunes by email by going to expresslane.apple.com

On the old PDA we used to be able to just point our PDA at another one and jusr zap over our information like Number and address for them to store can we do this on the iphone?

There are some apps, but they don't send via IR or bluetooth as your PDA used to - they currently use e-mail. Haven't tried any of these (I'm trying to decide if I need it) but here are a few: Send Contact, GoContact, v-Card Mailer, EmailContact.

Hmm, that is strange that your phone number is greyed out. There are a few things that we can try. First would be to turn iMessages off, then back on. See if you are able to select your phone number. Then if that doesn't work, turn iMessages back off, then reset the network settings....settings>general>reset>reset network settings, this will reboot the phone. Don't worry, it won't delete anything from the phone, it simulates a battery pull. Once the device comes back on, then turn iMessages back on. Keep us posted if that works!

My new iphone 5 can not connect to itunes, it comes up as a usb storage device when I plug it in, also in the phone under settings/usage it shows internal memory of 2gb and SD card of 64gb, I cannot get it to connect to itunes at all so cannot sync etc, is this a genuine Iphone or a copy. I have owned 4 iphones and never had a problem with connecting to iphones and restoreing to a backup.

It does not use SD cards.
Fake iphones are really Android phones using the skin of iOS6.
Click on the App Store icon. If it takes you to Apple's App Store, then it's a real iPhone.
But if you are directed to Google Play, then I'm afraid you've gotten a copy.

Ideally, I would use an bluetooth mic via an iPhone that would work directly with her hearing aids. This would be done primarily in home and work environments.
