OK. I have ILIFE...I HAVE IMOVIE 4 something. I wanted to download the 6 upgrade. I did. It tried to uplaod and said merely that it could run on this computer (I have a $#$#ing MAC G5, loaded to the gills with ram, memory etc....So, I thought, ah, it must mean after 4, there was a paid upgrade...So I went to buy the ife or just te movie thing again...but it only ships...it sees...actually thats whats so frustrating.....WHY DON'T THEY SAY, that it's nt down;loadable....as an upgrade to post 6, yes. but as an u[pgrade to 4, no. All I want to do is pay them for the full product and then DOWLOAD it.....!!!! Pleasehelp....If I buy another system 4.....7...I can download...but I don't think it will download he new iphoto...that way....

updates are for free (4.0=>4.1), upgrades cost (4=>6)…
no downloads of iLife available, iLife6 fills a 4.7GB disk (keyword: templates, tutorials, etc)… clients with phone modem will still download, when iLife7 is in the shops…
iLife is NOT part of a system, you're buying, it goes extra…
iLife is included on new Macs and can be found on the installer disks.
you're living in LA => how many Apple shops are there.....? (me jealous, next Apple store here in Europe ~1000miles away, in London…)
and "they" say, when a download is availabe, not vice versa....

You should not see anything labeled iCloud in Windows Explorer. -
did an adobe update this morning then several of my programs now marked as acrobate files and will not open so i uninstalled acrobat reader and tried reinstalling it several times using google, google chrome and internet explorer and still getting the same problem please advise

Try uninstalling it with the help of cleaner tool once again and try to install it back from the following link .

Whenever I open firefox a add ons screen comes up with the yahoo web page behind it. . I just want the Yahoo web page and do not want to close the add ons page every time I use my computer.
I don't know what else to say about this. It is a screen that comes up in its own window everytime I open FirefoxPlease check your home page setting and see if about:addons is listed. If it is, please remove it

If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset (we are fellow users here on these forums).

You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
2. Go to App Store and select a free app
3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email

I've signed up for a subscription to acrobat pro and successfully download 2 days ago. Now when I try to open pdf it asks if I want to sign up again and will not allow me to open the document. Can anyone give me assistance?

It sounds to me like you're trying to open a PDF via one of the Acrobat online services, not via Acrobat. Did you install the file that you downloaded after you signed up? Once you do, Acrobat will be installed on your computer, and you can run it locally (you don't access an Acrobat Pro subscription via the web--it works just like a version of Acrobat that you might purchase from the Adobe Store, or a large retailer).
Then, you'll open the Acrobat application from your desktop and choose File > Open to open your PDF file.

All I want to do is upgrade two phones ... WHY IS THIS SO HARD? And, WHY CAN'T VERIZON DO THIS???!!!
In the past month, I've spoken to dozens of Verizon reps on the phone, been disconnected a few times, been at 4 different stores, been told several different things by EVERYONE, been told "oh sure, we can do that" only to be told by someone else "no we can't" ... how can you run a business like this??!!!
I AM SO FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW I COULD SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First, it was because our account was listed as a monthly paid cash account,
then, it was because we were trying to get phones at a franchise store,
then, it was because our account was set up as a business account (according to the Verizon rep I met at Wal-Mart, even though the Vz reps on the phone tell me it's listed as a personal account AND I sign onto our account as a personal account)
then, we were told to order our upgrades on over the phone (but then we were told we would have to pay for the phones and wait for a debit card rebate to be mailed to us, which my husband does not want to do)
then, we were told to order the upgrade phones online, but every time I try I get a processing error,
then, the computer tells us to call a specific phone number if we believe the error was not right,
then, the phone recording message repeats itself through multiple options TWICE and then hangs up on me,
then, I call another Verizon number and get a "helpful" rep who tells me we can order them on the phone ... only to come back to me after being on hold and telling me they have gone home for the day,
then, I try to get help online at Verizon.com and NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO HELP ME.
I've been to Wal-Mart 3 or 4 times, been to the local franchise store, been to a store in the Chicago area, and have spoken with Verizon reps on the phone until I'm blue, and, still ... STILL ... I don't have new phones.

We have been a Verizon customer for over 16 years, apparently that means NOTHING.

What kind of info? like what kind of Apple computers I have? the specs? etc. I know I need Itunes on a PC as well to add movies to my Iphone 4s but, I also have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and, that phone all I do is Plug it in to my PC and from there on it's really easy because it gives me the option to let my PC see it as a external HDD to where I can litteraly drag my movies that I want into it.. And, boom! I'm done. With Apple is like oh my god, you need this you need that you need the other thing.. Blah Blah Blah LOL.... But, I'm a stubborn bull and I want to add movies to my Iphone 4s. So, what I do is the following, I plug in my iphone 4s to my macbook pro and Itunes launches by itself, then I click on the iphone 4s on the upperr right corner, right after a list appears with all my music, then I click on where it says Movies on the upper left, then I try to drag a movie into the list and there's an error message that appears telling me that the movie wasn't copied to my iphone because it can't be played.... at this point I gave up and here I am asking for help.
I don't what info you want, I have a iphone 4s, a macbook pro wth OSX Mavericks, 2.6 GHz Intel Core !7 8 GB ram... I also have a Imac which I have put away since we just moved in so, I can't remember the specs but it's about 2 - 3 years older than my macbook pro... Apple seems easy to use when it comes to graphic design, video editing and, working with audio... When it comes to multimedia, it seems not so great. I hope this is enough info... I was trying to clean up my computer and put things on my exteranl hard drive and then delete the items off my computer. When I was going through the pictures I saw a file named "iLibrary" and just saw a little picture for it, so I deleted that as well..... Later on, when I was trying to show my events in the Finder There was a problem and no pictures were showing up, just empty Events. So I went to the dock and quit iPhoto. When I re-clicked it to open again iPhoto asked me if I wanted to upgrade iPhoto, So I clicked yes, then hesitated. "What if all my pictures get deleted' I thought. Then it asked me where I wanted to re-open from and I just click open to the Library that was the 'default'. It was also the ONLY option to click! When it opened I didn't have any of my photos any more. Just a couple events it had selected from my external hard drive!!! I heard I could recover all my photos by going to the Finder and clicking on Pictures then right clicking on iLibrary then go to "Show Package Contents". Unfortunently like I mentioned earlier I had just previously DELETED that!!! It doesn't end there either, just to make matters worse, I "Emptied" the TRASH CAN TOO!! Now what do I do?? I just had a baby 8 weeks ago and ALL ALL ALL the pictures were on there! I was starting to save them to my external hard drive when all this happened! Someone PLEASE help me!!
Do you have a back up?
If not you're into using file recovery software like File Salvage - you can download a free trial and it will scan the disk for you and tell you with might be recoverable. Actual recovery will require that you purchase the app. There may be many files with the same or similar names. Always recover the largest file size.
There are other such apps. Search on Macupdate or the App Store -

Based on the information provided in your post, I recommend performing a backup and recovery of your notebook's system.
