This is is simple question I hope regarding Apple stores for iDVD...

Hi all, I have looked over the Apple site and have not come up with a totally concrete answer. What I would like to know is does Apple have a store for iDVD similar to what they have for iPhoto (calendars, books, et). I would like to make some DVD movies but have them look professional. A nice looking case for them and the DVD printed.
If anyone knows a for sure yes or no please post back.

I don't believe there is a square brush among the sets that ship with Photoshop, but there are plenty to download, and it is super easy to make one.
Just drag with the rectangular Marquee tool, fill with black on a new layer, and go Edit > Define brush preset

I have not yet seen any official response to the question: "Is the Apple AV Composite cable fully supported with 30pin connector devices upgraded with iOS7 - specifically ? - eg. iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s"
If it is not currently supported is that then due to a bug / oversight and in that case is it something that will be fixed in the near future?

First on a computer try editing your ID to change the payment method to None.

the appleID is the connection between the device and icloud and what apps and media itunes store see that you own
if you change appleID you start from scratch

When using the phone, I must use the speakerphone in order to hear. Does this require a visit to the Apple store or will a reset or restore possibly fix?

Try this before calling Apple or going to the store.
Open iTunes, and restore the device as NEW. Then test making some calls, if it works, GREAT if not then call AppleCare or an Apple store for an appointment.
Based on experience a restore fixes this issue 99.9% of the time. The .1% is hardware issue based the rest is software based issue

Probably a simple question about using a flash header for navigation

What would be the best way to go about loading this flash
navigation?

Basically my issue is that I don't want the animation to run
through each time. On the homepage, I want it to run through it's
whole animation, but after that, I just want everything to be up
there... not flying in and fading in on each of the pages in the
site.
My ideas:
1. Some sort of actionscript command that says "if you are on
a page named index.htm then play the entire movie, otherwise, goto
and play frame 100 (the last frame).
2. Use a shell movie and do a loadMovie that they jumps to a
frame. Insert the shell movie on the subpages in the site. I tried
this an it didn't work. And I've read that it's unreliable because
the label may not exist yet when the movie is called or something.
Must be cached.
3. Build 2 movies... one with all the intro animation frames
chopped off. I tried this and didn't like it as the movie is
already pretty huge and to load two movies that are large is
annoying to users. This is the method I am currently using.

The quick and easy way - not necessarily the most elegant way
- to solve the problem is to use html frames. Put the nav in a
header frame and have contents display in a second frame
underneath. Will require you add a target="contentframe' (or
whatever you name the content frame) parameter into each link in
the nav flash, but other than that you won't need to make major
changes.
The nav plays once and just sits there until they reload the
entire page the next time they visit. No actionscript, tests,
preloading, etc required.

I'm a prospective switcher planning to get a 20' intel iMac very soon; I just have a small question about perchasing from Canadian online Apple store, since I can save most from my student discount:
When I view the price in the checkout process, why is it that the estimated tax is always $0.00, even if I use the regular store intead fo the educational one? I had correct infomation about my shipping location (Toronto, Ontario), will the regular tax be applied (which is 15% here) or is there something wrong there?

I checked my orders from the Apple Store (Canada) and the documentation prior to shipment says "Please note that your order subtotal does not include applicable sales tax or rebates. Sales tax, if applicable, will be added when your order is processed."
After they ship, they email an invoice that includes the tax and shipping, if applicable.

Sorry, but there is no iTunes Store for Afghanistan and you are not allowed to use the iTunes Store of any other country, so unless you physically go to another country and have a valid payment method issued in that country (an Afghani credit card will not be accepted), you cannot purchase apps.
