One of my close friends said she has to move and quit her job and asked me if i wanted to take it over.She is a vendor at the local AAFES Post Exchange.I need to know how many apple classes i must take to become a mac vendor. I am surely overqualified for the position but i need the piece of paper that says apple approved or it means nothing. Thank you for your help.

I am running OS X, version 10.6.8 with safari 5.0.5. recently i ran one of those recommended upgrades and now Safari continually quits citing .WinASOEasyTweakVKey.Gen.tmp plug-in. how in the world do i combat this issue? thank you! I have reset Safari several times.
Another new problem is Firefox telling me, when the e-mail window is open, that the window must run in 32 bit. The window is then disabled and then i have to restart Firefox.

Where can I find one of those soft silicone body covers (not hardshell) for the Mac Book Pro? And is this a good idea since Apple no longer makes them? I-phones use them now.
Personally I use the Speck hard case on both of my MacBooks and they are the greates! Look around on Amazon and eBay and you can find them for $30-40. I wouldn't really recomend a silicon case for a macbook, but it's your preference.

I cant able to get full screen when I run applications in my laptop having 10 inches screen those developed in desktop having 15 inches screen, is there any forms property we can set so that every where it should fit the screen. I am using 800*600 screen resolution settings even for both. I am using Forms 4.5 only.

nullgo to help at the top of your browser then click on restart with add-ons disabled, firefox will close then it will open up with just basic firefox, then you can swicth the add-ons back on and it should be ok, ive just done this myself and it worked

I am about to hook up my airport extreme. My cable modem goes into a router, and one of those ports will supply my airport extreme. I was told by the Apple Store that I would need to configure my airport extreme as a wirreless access point. How do I do this?

But what I do not like in that picture (my personal view, others may think differently), is that there is much plastic around the connectors where the cable must fit. You may ot may not be able to get the cable to *fully seat* with the adapter.
Other adapters (http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0334087, yes I know this is a DVI) hve no plastic barriers to connections. -

My old computer crashed andI bought a new one. When I went to Itunes I deauthorized all computers and then authorized my new one but I can not get my prevous purchases and I can not add my new purchases to my IPods with out it deleting all the music. How can I transfer everything that was on the old computer to this new one?
Whether you can redownload previous purchases depends upon the type of item (audiobooks and ringtones are one-time only downloads), what country that you are in (music, films, TV shows can't be redownloaded in all countries), and whether the item is still in your country's store (content providers occasionally remove their items) - what you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage
Or you should be able to copy purchases back from your iPod via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option (if the drop-down menus aren't showing then control-B should get them to show).
If you have music from other sources on your iPod (e.g. copied from CDs) then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

You can configure Spotlight so it will also search in system files or you can download and use EasyFind 4.9.3 that doesn't require special configuration.
Get Spotlight to search system files (and more)
Enter the search term in the Finder window's search field.
Click the [+] button in the search bar to add a search option.
In the first drop down menu choose Other.
Choose “System Files” from the list that pops up (and check the box to place in drop down menu to avoid this step later,) click on the OK button.
Now back in the Finder choose Include from the second drop down menu. -

If this does not help, please post the make and model of your Wi-Fi router. Maybe there is a way to monitor the connections from the router side.
Even if the iPad2 has a bad Wi-Fi radio or antenna , the chance of you getting another one should be small. Also if you go to an Apple Store, I am sure you will be able to test it before you leave the store.

The above info re the Flashback removal tool confuses me. I thought this trojan horse affected those who had Java (JRE) up and running i.e.,Safari security Java checkbox enabled. I also believed this Trojan horse also affected those using Snow Leopard. Clarify please.
There are several variants of the trojan. The first ones were released as installers for Adobe Flash and therefore did not require you to have Java on your system. Later variants took advantage of a Java vulnerability and could install themselves by simply visiting a rogue Web site. Therefore, even without Java installed if you had run a rogue updater for Adobe Flash or Reader, then you might have installed the trojan.
The trojan also affects Snow Leopard and prior versions of OS X (so far the code is known to be intel-only, but this is unconfirmed), but Apple has only issued patches for supported versions of the OS (version 10.6 or later).
Apple's removal tools run in OS X 10.6 or later if you instlal the Java update, and the standalone removal tool is for Lion only. Why Apple does not offer options for other operating systems is beyond me, but that's the way of things.
