I could get better help from a pair of rats. I'm going to another site. After looking at allll of the different unanswered posts, some that were posted a year ago, I'v decided to come on later to try to answer some of them myself and show how most of you top dog moderators are just either incredibly stupid or extremely ignorant. And perhaps I will redirect users here to other websites, because this place is a JOKE!
Both of you are aware this is a "user helping user" forum, not CL tech support? If you want that then you contact CL either via phone or email. Ppl here do try to help but, at least in my case, I try not to post unless I have a suggestion. IIRC there are only 3 mods for the boards and their also NOT part of Tech support but they do try to help out, get ppl info n such and definitly don't deserve your ire.
Anyway my suggestion is to be patient, if still no response to your post then email CL support. If by some chance your jack has gone bad you may need to RMA it but with it being an older card, probably out of warrenty, it might be cheaper to simply replace the card. Do you have another set of speakers/cables you can test with? that would at least eliminate some issues if the 2nd set does work as I seem to recall on either my old Li've or A2 card one jack was fussy and I had to actually trim the top of the /8th plug on the speaker cable so it could go in far enough for good contact.

Had same problem with 10.7. I've followed all the suggestions I can find, restored my computer many times, cleaned the registry... this is the worst software install I've ever seen!
I kept getting the reminder to update itunes 11.1.4 on my Windows 7 laptop. I now forget the error message other than it would stop and say something that itunes has stopped working and to do a manual d/l from itunes. That did not work either.
The suggestion to remove the Apple Software Updater from my programs solved this problem. -
I have upgrade ios 6 to ios7 on my iphone 5. I do NOT like it at all. I want to come back to the previous version. why is it so complicated? Why can I not find the instruction strait from apple? This is the worst possible upgrade ever. It make me think of when ericsson got sold to Sony....drastic PC change.
I would like to have simple instruction on how to downgrade.
It feel like a change that I did not ask for , ok I push the upgrade buttom, but really this is the worst update aver!

i can not re install Adobe Acrobat 7.0 professional on my computer. It is saying a qualifying product is not detected. I cant even get through using the customer service line they provide 800-272-3623. This is the worst interactionI have ever had with a company.

I am so sorry for the inconvenience caused. However this is just because Adobe Acrobat 7.0 is an outdated version & the now the activation server for it does not exist.
Please refer to the following KB doc. Error: "Activation Server Unavailable" | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
The above link will help you to install a special version that does not require activation.

- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored.

Unable to get Quick time movies to play on my imac. This is the error message I allways get.

I have a problem, i can't generate with DPS App Builder "App distribuzione.zip" to be sent to Apple to publish APP, this is the error message: is not a valid distribution certificate Apple. What do I do?
As Bern510 says, you'll need to recreate certificates that are valid. I suggest following our step-by-step publishing guide, which walks through how to obtain certificates correctly.

I cannot print wirelessly from Macbook Pro: this is the error message I receive /Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter2/Filter/rastertoescpII.app/Contents/MacOS /rastertoescpII failed. Can anyone help. I have been able to print on this printer for months, then yesturday out of the blue I get this error.

I also saw this same error message above the Print Queue, ever since allowing the Epson Printer Software Update (August 2013) to install. After this update installed, I was able to print a basic Test Page from the Print Queue, but when printing from any application I only got "Looking for printer..." displayed above the Print Queue, which would stall and never print.
2008 MacBook, 10.7.5. It used to print to my Epson WorkForce 845 wirelessly without problems, before this software update was installed.
Changing the driver from "Epson WorkForce 845" to "Epson WorkForce 600 - Gutenprint v5.2.3" was a workaround that did allow me to print, but I wasn't satisfied with that.

This issue may be a result of the Computer Name being left empty:
Open System Preferences and choose Sharing.
Enter a name for your computer.
Even without restarting the MacBook, I was able to now change back to using the Epson WorkForce 845 driver v9.0 successfully. I never would have guessed that a Computer Name is required in order to print! -
When ever I try to export to Perfect Effects 8 a DNG Photo this is the Error message "Unable to complete the export. One or more files could not be found" Any one know how to fix this?@
Adobe web chat come up with a solution.
Open the PP project.
Export your sequence or project as a Final Cut Pro XML file.
Set up a new PP project.
Import the Final Cut Pro XML file.
This will get you back up an running.
Since getting back to editing this project I have found that some things will be lost or change in using XML:
You will lose position key framing, black video clips, dissolve fx, audio levels, audio dynamic fx, the ability to open a multi camera clip and change the camera view.
You will keep cut points, crop fx.
Not perfect but only took a couple of hours to save 3 days work. -
my iiPad mini is lagging to much after ios 7 upgrade. Please apple solve this issue. Games which are running smoothly in ios 6 lagging too much. This is the worst experience Apple

Have you had the opportunity to visit the store again? If so, were they able to rectify the $200 gift card problem, and unlock your phone? I completely agree with you, while it's great that the sales associate was helpful, the manager should have overseen the transaction to make things move along faster. I assure you I will be documenting your comments for further employee training opportunities.

How long does it take to download a @#$@#% movie! It has been at it for over an hour. Seriously? Who has hours to wait around BEFORE watching a movie? It now says 2 hours 4 minutes. Unbelievable! This is the worst way to rent movies!
I see you keep saying that vazandrew on different forums, but there is more going on here than dns settngs and available bandwidth..
i have my dns settings set to the local isp. get 8mbps through speed test.. more often than not i can download an HD movie immediately, and SD movie has no issues at all..
But tonight.. even though as i write this i have disabled all other devices on my network and am still getting my 8mbps downlod from speed test.. Ive just paid for Pacfic Rim.. it played immediately, but got to 46 minutes, and simply stopped.. i backed out resumed play and it bounced to 9 hours before i can watch.. i reset my modem/router, restarted the apple tv and its now currently sitting on 106 hours..
my guess is it's the akamai network doing something stuipid.. this is a regular occurence and if you look deep enough, many people complain of the same issue...
the worst thing about apple is i cant get a refund.. the second worst thing about apple even though im a huge fan, there is absolotely no point me writing this because apples first point of call is to blame the end user and other enviromental factors, meanwhile covering their own ***.. I've spent the last 18 years of my work life building and supporting IT/IS infrastructure.. so im not a dumb ***.. this is an apple issue, plain and simple.. maybe time to switch to amazon or azure. -
Help? Time Machine could not complete the back up due to iMacsparsebundle is already in use??? This is the error message I am getting now with my Time Capsule as the back up device. Any suggestions?
