I forgot my security questions and it locked my whole entire account for 8 hours. I just want to buy a song, and I get this nonsense. Please tell me how to reset security questions and unlock my account..

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:

I had the same problem with some apps and printer setup software. SInce Rosetta has been discontinued on Lion my only solution was to restore to 10.6 since the manufacturers either have not yet or will not release updated apps. In this case you have to determine how important those old PPC apps are to keep around and if there alternitives that are available to replace the functionality. I would expect a broadband provider to update thier apps if it is something that is required to connect.

what you can do is jailbreak it and then unlock
Phones unlocked by jailbreaking or other unauthorized methods will always re-lock to the original carrier when updated or restored. Sometime this will happen randomly when syncing. Only the carrier it's originally locked to can unlock it correctly and not all will do that. Also you'll have to return to the UK to complete the unlock.
Your best bet is to sell that iPhone and buy one in India or factory unlocked.

There is an ad at the bottom of my home page that is very annoying. I have tried everything to delete it but it won't go away. I can only assume that it is one of your sponsors. The ad keeps saying I am a winner and just answer a question. I am very upset that I am imposed on in this way every time I sign in. Please eliminate this from your home page as I am getting to the point of deleting firefos.

The easiest way is to use the Status-4-Evar add-on. With it you can choose to not display any of the status messages, or display them in the add-ons bar or location bar instead.

Ive had my iphone 4s since 10th april and on three seperate occassions its switched itself off completely (whilst having battery) it then wont work for around 2 days, this is very annoying and I dont know what to do as its been out for around 12hours now

I don't know why my phone keeps switching itself off, I've never dropped it, had water damage nor any other damage to it. Ive had it for around 5 months or so now and it just likes to switch itself off for around 30-40 hours then work again as though nothing happened. Although this is great as it will eventually work its very frustrating not knowing if it will switch on again.. at the minute my phone hasnt worked for about 10-12 hours. I went in to the apple shop and they said they couldnt see me for over a week as they were fully booked, I understand that theyre busy but surely they can't expect me to go without a phone/alarm/email for that time when I am paying for it. Does anyone have any help/advice they can offer? Thanks

Standard troubleshooting...
1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider if it comes up. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
3. Remove apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Swipe up on the app preview card
- Press the home button when done.
4. If still a problem restore with your backup.
5. If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

Opened Finder windows are NOT remembered after rebooting and have to be re-opened again manually. For me this is very annoying and is a major bug!

If other software products can keep their opened windows after the system is rebooted, why not the finder? This did work for many, many years now and I can only hope that this issue somehow has been overseen by Apple (although it's a very obvious flaw) and will be repaired with the next Update for Lion (which otherwise is working very, very well for me).

I am using XP, Firefox 17.0.1 and the latest version of flash. Have
automatic updates and installs. Everything was working a few months ago and
then just started clearing everything out all by itself. No settings were
changed. There are some sites now such as my bank that do not even put
anything in the panel, like before. Other sites I used do not even request

The crashes you're encountering relate to the font menu submenus. We're painfully aware of it and very actively working on a solid fix and subsequent update.
There is no 100% workaround for avoiding the crash, but you can reduce its frequency by being very deliberate when making selections from the font menu or a font submenu. If, at the time you decide to click you keep the mouse cursor over the same item for a slow count of 1 before clicking and never click on an item in the main font menu that has a submenu (a gesture that would serve no purpose, but which would trigger the crash), that should avoid the crash in most cases.

I updated Firefox, now every time I click on the Dock image my Mac reloads the disc image on my desktop and tells me this is the first time I've tried to open the program. What's going on? This is very annoying.

I contacted Sony, who spent 90 minutes trying to help me fix this, to be told it is a problem with the program, not the computer. I have deleted every trace of the program then reloaded it, three times, with the same results every time. This all started when I added a bunch of 'extras' from Mozilla. Everytime I open Firefox after the last update, it runs an add on compatability check and opens two tabs. One tab is the firefox "latest update faq" page and the other tab is the set homepage. This is very annoying, how do i make it stop???
