"This item is tempoarily unavailable" for everything

Itunes is showing "This item is tempoarily unavailable" on every video I try to download.

Update on my previous post.
iTunes showed I was logged in, displaying my Apple ID on the screen (left bar where it normally is) but I couldn't access my account, with the same error message coming up again!  (seriously this is total BS)
I deleted EVERYTHING under
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
or YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
Some people have had success only deleting everything in the cookies folder
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\Cookies
Thank you LadyBytes

  • "this item is temporarily unavailable" why am i getting this message when i know i have these songs?

I getting the message "This item is temporarily unavailable" when i try to play certain songs. I know the songs are there...I just recently listened to them! I'm using ITunes on a new Macbook pro I just purchased.  The songs that DO lay have "clouds" next to them, just like the ones that won't play. Any ideas? Its frustrating not to be able to play the songs I have legally purchased from ITunes.

You might want to take a look at this.
May have something to do with the Sept 9 release of iOS8, OS Yosemite, iPhone 6 etc..

  • When I try to add a song ti iTunes match it said (This item is not eligible for iCloud.)Why

When I try to add a song ti iTunes match it said (This item is not eligible for iCloud.)Why??

Sorry, Maybe I didn't explain that correctly.
The song has to be available to purchase in the iTunes Store in order for it to be used in Match.
So if you purchased a song from another source or imported it from a CD it  sould show up in Match!
however if say you purchased or imported a rare mix CD, that would not show up.
that is the first step to check anyway.

  • I keep getting "this service is currently unavailable" for many websites I want to log in, how can I stop this?

I recently bought a new Mac Pro and for many wesites I want to log in like Itunes store, and koodo, It says "this service is currently unavailable. Pease try again later" I first I thought it was just the wesite but its been doing that for the past few days. I dont think all those websites can be unavaiable at the same time for so many days. The only thing I changed in my Safari was the homepage (if that has anything to do with it) I hope someone can help me with this, if not I guess I'll take it to future shop and see if they can fix it.

    Empty Caches
        Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
Do not use the back button. Use the previous/next button available.
If this does not help, contact Apple.

  • "This item is temporarily unavailable - Try again later" (Dec 2013)

A few days ago, I reset my imac (21.5 inch - mid 2010) to factory settings, and now I cannot download from iTunes, music that I've brought.
When I first opened iTunes, it was empty (of course), so I tried pressing the "Check for Available Downloads" button and a window popped up saying "All purchases have been downloaded for this Apple ID", but, my library was still empty, and it was not downloading anything.
After searching on some forums and looking through some posts, I finally managed to make the albums/music show up in my library: I activated "Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases". Now that the music was in the library, I though I'd be able to play it, but no... Instead when either trying to double click the albums to start the music or when I tried to press the iCloud image in the top-right of the album covers, and error showed up (image below). I looked, again, on the internet for suggestions or solutions, but couldn't find any. I only saw post back from 2010 with similar problems, and the instructions there seemed a little bit outdated (I tried them anyways, but didn't work - not surprised)
I have checked the app store, and everything seems to be updated to the latest version...
As you can see on the screenshot, it tries downloading the music, but is failing and the status goes from " -- loading bar --" to "stop". "Resuming" just restarts the process.
    Need help ASAP.

    Hey there Mentin,
It sounds like you are having difficulty downloading a previous purchase or two from the same album but others work fine. I would try signing out of the iTunes Store, then restart your computer, sign back in and try again.
    Sign Out:
Choose Store > Sign In (or Sign Out).
    From: iTunes 11 for Mac
              http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12299
If the issue persists, I would next reach out to our iTunes Store support and report an issue:
How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store purchase
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1933
Find the email receipt for your purchase.
Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,

  • This item is temporarily unavailable.  please try again later

I have had a large iTunes library for years.  switched many different computers through the years.  I buy my first Mac and this is the error that pops up when i try to download my library.  I have tried to download to external hard drive and internal hard drive.
I have read all the previous posts to try and determine how to best fix this.
i tried the safari preferences reset of website data and blocking cookies... which by the way doesn't allow you to log in to iTunes it appears.
and i have reset my cache and warnings in iTunes as well.  Does anyone have any more ideas?  Not feeling the love for my new Mac right now.  Thank You in advance for any ideas.

I had a similar issue on a used macbook air that I purchased and was attempting to reinstall the OS X from the partition.  The issue was the partition was referencing a BETA version of yosemite that could not be downloaded any longer.  You may have the same issue.  The solution is an internet recovery process.  You start the mac and then immediately press command+option+R at the same time.  This should take you to a screen with a spinning globe and it will start this internet recovery process.  My understanding is it downloads the original partition recovery file for your specific machine.  In my instance it downloaded mountain lion. Once this is complete I went to disk utilities and first re-erased the Mac SSD and then performed the OS X re-install from the recovery partition.  It will not ask for any sign in with your apple ID.  It will simply install the original OS X that came with your machine.  You will then go through the setup process to establish the mac as your machine or install from backup which ever you choose.  Once that is done you can do the free upgrade to the latest OS X, in my case yosemite.  Hope this helps.

  • TS4124 "This item is not eligible for iCloud" - but it's a song I bought from iTunes. What do I have to do to get it to be 'eligible'?

Any ideas? If it's a matter of something that was bought with an old apple ID, how to tell apple the two IDs belong to the same person?

  • How do I install an operating system on my erased hard drive when I get the error "This item is unavailable"?

So i erased my MacBook's hard drive trying to get a fresh, clean system install. After erasing, I tried to install a new OS X with the Recovery drive but after entering my Apple ID it simply says "This item is currently unavailable, Please try again later." So now my computer has no operating system on it, and I can't get one.

You may need to do the following. Check this to be sure you can: Computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery. If you are OK:
Install OS X Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.
If the above does not work, then you have to first install Snow Leopard:
    Clean Install of Snow Leopard
         1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
with your computer.  Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
After the chime press and hold down the  "C" key.  Release the key when you see
a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
         2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
size.)  Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.  Set the number of
partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
(Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
         3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed
with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
         4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
Assistant. After you finish Setup Assistant will complete the installation after which
you will be running a fresh install of OS X.  You can now begin the update process
by opening Software Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your
             installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.
You can now upgrade from the App Store, but right now Apple's servers are not working for Snow Leopard users, so be patient and keep trying to download Yosemite.

  • Xcode. This item temporarily unavailable. Try again later.

I installed Yosemite yesterday and noticed a blank icon in my Launchpad where Xcode used to be.  Xcode was working properly at one time but it looks like I might have paused one of my previous installations for some reason.  When I tried to resume the installation, it says "This item is temporarily unavailable.  Try again later."  I tried moving Xcode to my trash and emptying the trash but still the same thing.  I even tried deleting the Xcode file in my Preferences but still the same thing.

I am not thinking that at all. I have described the situation on a Mac exactly as Launchpad functions.
Notice that I said click & hold, not tap & hold. You must use a mouse or trackpad to follow my instructions, not a finger.

As the error indicates, your servlet does not support GET method calls. Override doGet() method to do what you are doing in doPost to avoid this error. If you want your servlet to serve GET as well as POST methods, override service method instead.

  • Quick view is currently unavailable for this item

There must be something set up wrong because when I go into Itunes "reccomendations for you" every item that I try to see using quick view always comes up with the same message " Quick view is currently unavailable for this item". perhaps someone had the same problem and found a solution. itunes for Windows in a windows 8 machine.

Same here. I actually had this problem a few iTunes versions ago, and it lasted for a year or so. I don't even remember what I did or what happened that fixed it. Wish I could recall. I can't view any quick views for my Genius Recommendations in the iTunes store.

problem updating to iphoto 9.6 after upgrading to Yoesmite  I am getting the following message when I try top date iPhoto This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or canc

"This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled." ?
This error message will appear erraneously, if you skipped the update to Mavericks and iPhoto 9.5.1 and went straight from an earlier MacOS X version to Yosemite, without first updating to iPhoto 9.5.1 and associating iPhoto to your AppleID.
Try first to buy iPhoto with your AppleID instead of updating. Delete iPhoto from Applications, but don't empty the Trash, then go to the main page of the App Store and search for iPhoto. If you are lucky, it will show as free and you can buy it directly.
If iPhoto  is not showing as free, there is no help but contacting the App Store Support: Ask for a redemption code. You will need to provide a prove of purchase for your mac with iPhoto preinstalled.
