This happens straight after I have closed Firefox browser and then straight away, I want to open it again. Otherwise it will give this message and I will have to wait until it supposedly closes whatever is supposed to be running so that it can open -annoying!

The process is "firefox.exe" you will only see it in the "Processes" tab of the Windows Task Manager, since you don't see it on the Windows Task Bar. You will have to terminate it from
there, since it was not actually closed.

Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Firefox will just stop loading/ connecting to the internet. The gray circle will just continually move but it never turns green to load the pages. I know it's not my internet because my internet explorer works just fine while this is happening to firefox. Foxfire stays in back gro I get this script when I try to get back on Foxfire after closing it. Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart.

This happens 95% of the time when I close Foxfire and then later try to get back on. I usually have to restart my computer before getting back on to Foxfire.
