  • I keep getting this message when trying to sign into itunes... "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

I have tried everything I can find online.
Update iTunes to the latest version.
If iTunes Store appears empty and only displays the message iTunes Store, follow these steps.
Try the steps to troubleshoot iTunes Store connectivity in Windows.
As with all firewalls not manufactured by Apple, you may need to configure Windows Firewall to allow iTunes to access the iTunes Store. Follow these steps for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
Try disabling any proxies built-in to Wndows. You should avoid proxies because they can cause issues.
If you're receiving a specific error message, follow these steps.
If the issue still persists, contact your Internet service provider and confirm that these ports and servers are enabled over your network.
I also have tried flushing dns, making sure all services that are required are started (not 100% which it needs to be fair, I did have an issue earlier this month when i upgraded my ram from 2gb to 4gb and had to go into msconfig to untick the max memory setting so it used all 4 instead of the original 2gb... and that for some reason turned off a few services, bonjour service is 100% working, i checked that much, and the ipod service too) I also tried a system restore with no effect.
I also did the microsoft fixit for the hosts file too...
I have just purchased an ipad mini, brand new not second hand... and I want to be able to sync it, but without authorising the pc it wont let me. ANY help is appretiated. Thankyou.

  • I am trying to install after effects, but no matter what version I try to download, there is always a different error not allowing me to open or use the program after I have already installed it.

I have recently repurposed an iMac from late 2009 as an editing machine, and have been trying to install preferably After Effects CS6.  When I install and try to open it for the first time, the program quits unexpectedly and continues to do the same every time I try to reopen the program.  After no luck experimenting trying to fix the problem, I attempted to download the trial of After Effects CC 2014 to see if the problem was with the computer or with the application.  After installing CC, there was another error when I attempted to open it.  My final attempt was taking After Effects CS5 from an old hard-drive and attempting to open it on the iMac.  When I open CS5 I am greeted with another error message telling me to reinstall After Effects.  After reinstalling I get the same message.
I am confused to whether my computer can handle After Effects, or there is another error occurring.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I just downloaded the latest version, and tried to open the browser. Where do I find the profile directory and how do I know what a read/write restriction looks like?

Did you try to rename the file cert8.db (cert8.db.sav) in the profile folder and maybe secmode.db as well?
