This new forefox is not compatible with Google toolbar - I want to uninstall but don't know how. Orientation please!

I have a MacBook Pro and my bookmarks and mail are all google so I relly need my Google toolbar as this new one is not compatible.

Firefox will not easily allow you to downgrade to firefox4, because that is now unsupported, however if you install an additional add-on the compatability reporter this will allow the google toolbar to work. Please therefore install the addon from this link:

With any luck the new addon will help with other addons you may have and other releases of firefox that are going to be released soon.

I upgraded to Firefox 5.0 and now have no Google Toolbar. I'm not sure what else is disabled as incompatible, but I want to revert to my previous version. When I tried to download and install the previous version of Firefox (I think it was Firefox 5) on my laptop, the Google Toolbar disappeared.

Firefox is asking me to update to v5 but are saying this version is not compatible with Google. Has this problem been resolved yet?

I updated my browser to v5 and was told that it would not be compatible with Google at this time. I was not able to log onto Google nor bring up the Google toolbar and related search ability.
I have therefore switched back to v4.01 and I now can use Google. Is this new version 5 now compatible with Google or will it ever be??

Extensions for Firefox, such as the Google Toolbar, include a list of compatible Firefox versions. Currently, the Google Toolbar only goes up to Firefox 4. However, people have tested and it actually works on Firefox 5, so there are two workarounds:
(1) Edit a file to revise the range of compatible versions
(2) Install an add-on that lets you ignore the range of compatible versions

Adobe is not going to swap 13 for 12. It is selling only 13 download as you found out. So, you are going to have to purchase 12 if you want to use that program. It may still be available at some retail locations, such as Amazon.

So, the article you have there, HT4895, is pretty good. Just look at the FAQ section of it.
But basically, you will want to create a backup on your computer through iTunes...Just plug your current iPad into it and make sure your iPad and iTunes are logged in with the same Apple ID. At that point, just create a backup.
When you get your new iPad, and before you plug it in or set it up, follow the directions in this link to change your Apple ID. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5621?viewlocale=en_US
Once you have that done, plug your new iPad into your computer to sync up with iTunes. Follow the directions for Restore from Backup and it should bring all that info back to your new iPad.
And changing your Apple ID email info will allow you to have your own!!! This should solve all your issues and GL!!!

It depends on how you installed it. You have to shutdown the MySQL service first. If you used the standard, but obsolete Startup Item, you can do that with the Startup Item. If you created a launchd script, you can do it with launchctl. Once MySQL is no longer running, you can delete the Startup Item or launchd script and the rest of MySQL.
