This one song wont dowload...but others will!

When a purchased a song on itunes a message came up
"Error unable to dowload error 450 Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again"
What does that mean? I stoped the process and then restarted it. It still didnt work. I then purchased 2 other songs and they downloaded perfectly without any trouble! Whats up with this one song??

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

HT1373 I have a song I downloaded with the full album that will not authorize to play on my computer. All other songs will play. I've tried authorizing this song only again but it will still not comply. Why?

If you're only getting that message on one track on the album, that suggests that the track is damaged.

TS1389 I downloaded album but one song states not authorized and will not play and will not accept authorization when entered.

I downloaded an album but one song will not play. The message says not authorized. I put in authorization info and it says this computer is authorized.
I tried to buy it again and the same error comes up not authorized, etc and nothing works.

It may be a corrupt / damaged download...
If you live in a Region that allows re-downloading Music...
Delete the Song(s) and re-download...

Garageband 10.0.2 won't export one song to iTunes but has no problem exporting others

I'm still getting used to the new Garageband and I'm liking it a lot so far. I had just finished editing a song before I updated and am now trying to export that into iTunes with the new Garageband. I get to the part where it says "Bouncing...," but it hardly gets a minute into this before that little window disappears and nothing exported. I've already sent a few previous Garageband files and some new ones to iTunes, but this one seems to be giving me trouble. Any idea what's going on?

I too can not export my presentation to Powerpoint. The presentation was originally in powerpoint and I imported into Keynote. Now I wanted to export it to let some others work on it. I receive this error below when I try the export.
"An error occurred while exporting your document to powerpoint."
I have tried some of the suggestions from other posts regarding exporting to qt like uncheck close after last slide and trashing the com.apple.iwork.keynote.plist file. Neight of these worked in my case with Powerpoint.

Cannot play one song within an album (others play fine).

Today, I downloaded an album from the iTunes stores. I was able to play all but one song. For the one song that would not play, a message came up saying that I needed to authorize this computer. I followed the instructions - then received a message that said that this computer was already authorized (which I already knew) to play all the songs. Hence, I'm not sure why the one song will not play, yet all the other songs in the album played just fine.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Album Art Won't Stay Attached To This One Song File

Hello community,
Out of the 4172 songs in my iTunes library, for some time there there has been one song which will not accept any form of album artwork. I add it and hit "OK" and it goes on the song, but as soon as I switch to another song and back to this one, the artwork is gone again. The entire album (as with most of my albums) is 44.1k, 16bit AIFF files. I have not encountered this problem with any other song. Only this one. No matter how many times I duplicate into an entirely new file, I still can't add artwork to it. This problem was annoying me greatly until I converted the song to a similar format, Apple Lossless, and now it freely accepts the artwork, and the artwork stays. But as soon as I convert it back to AIFF, the artwork disappears and I can't add it. I even attempted to re-rip it from the disk, converted it through FLAC, ALAC, and then to AIFF, the first two of which accepted the artwork, but not AIFF.
So my question is, what is wrong with this one particular song not accepting album art solely when in the AIFF format? It seems very odd to me. Any help would be appreciated, because now I have a standalone ALAC file in my library and it's extremely annoying to think about. >.<
I should also mention that this has been happening from Mountain Lion, through Mavericks and now onto Yosemite. Don't even get me started on how the playback buttons only work once. That's a whole 'nother issue.

For #1, the iPod's Artwork cache does get corrupted when making frequent changes. In the iPod's Music preferences tab in iTunes, remove the check beside "Display album artwork on your iPod" and select Apply.
Once the iPod has finished syncing, recheck it and hit Apply again. iTunes should recreate the artwork cache and re-sync it to your iPod.
For #2, are you running the itunes database (it has an ITL extension) from the exHD ? Or from the default location on your C: drive. The downloaded artwork from the itunes store goes into a folder named Album Artwork, and that is created in the same folder as the ITL file.
Not sure if this is it, since I embed the artwork in all my files.

Purchased whole album,one song wont play

I recently downloaded a soundtrack album,all the songs except one play fine,if i click on it it plays for a second,then skips to the next song,i cant download it as a single track,it is an album only song.This isnt the first time this has happened,i have had similar issues with other album downloads,its always one song that wont play,with either the whole track playing silently,or just skipping to the next track,its really frustrating and i am annoyed that i have payed for something that i havent actually got,is there a solution for this? has anyone else had this problem?

Delete and redownload it if doing so is free in your country.

I have one song that plays on pc but wont play on iphone 4 or iphone 3. Its shows up but stops at 6seconds. tried removing and install again. Bought it threw itunes and the it the only song on the album that wont play.

One song not authroized; all otheras are. Help?

So, last week I d/l'd the complation of Glee's music from Sectionals. All songs came through fine, but for some reason, "Control" is saying it is not authorized on my computer. It won't accept my username/pw to authorize it for the comptuer. All of the other songs are fine. What gives? Any ideas?

Went through that proceedure first to no avail. But I did pay and download that one song again and it does play and will burn on the cd. So I guess the message is if Apple gives you a "sale" on albums, beware!

IPhone doesn't play this one song?

iTunes keeps transferring this song to my iPhone with no problems at all, no error messages whatsoever. On iTunes it plays fine on my computer, but on my iPhone, I press the play button and it does not play, but the pause button continues to be shown as if it were playing. I tap on the screen to show the time bar slider thingy and it's totally stopped, the seconds aren't passing by its just like paused but the play symbol continues to be shown on the upper right corner of the screen. I've compared the sound file properties (windows) with other sound file properties and everything is exactly the same, they're all MP3s including this one that does not play, the sound density, or the bit rate or whatever is in the normal range as all the other songs, could someone please help me?

This one cd wont load.

all of the other cds ive put into my itunes has loaded however i cannot get one cd to load (30 seconds to mars) is it possible for there to be a block from the cd? my itunes is also my default cd player.

If this is the Beautiful Lie album by this group it is copy-protected & there's not a lot you can do to get it to import correctly into iTunes. I would suggest you check on amazon.com to see if CD's a protected, this what I did to check this album. It's also what I do when I'm thinking about purchasing CD's as Amazon will flag copy-protected discs up front.
Most of us who post regularly in these forums make it a habit not to purchase CC-CD's as the record companies are violating our fair-use rights by placing protection on our purchases. My suggestion would be to return the CD as defective, politely stating to a manger that the problem is you can't get the CD to import into iTunes correctly & as far as your concerned this means the disc is defective. I know this doesn't help much, but copy-protection is a huge PET PEEVE for a lot of people around here.
