This page contains errors

I've been dealing with this issue since Microsoft bought Skype.  I have numerous users in my company, some work fine others get the famous internet gets sleepy message often followed by the current blank screen that flashes and then says "this page contains errors. Go back."  I've had the issue with multiple versions of IE and skype but cant seem to find rhyme or reason to which ones wont work.  Here are the current details:
If using a Skype name, it will login fine and work properly, only effects logging in with a microsoft account
Dell latitude 2120 running Windows 7 home premium with service pack 1
Skype version 6.20.0.104
IE version 11.0.9600.17239
Currently Im just getting the white screen that says this page contains errors.  The internet is getting sleppy message has gone away.  I do have an internet connection as other internet connected programs will work and I can access the internet fine through IE.

I have verified and yes, that is the only option selected.  Still having the problem.
I have 2 of these laptops experiencing the same problem with identical versions and settings.  I have taken one of them and installed a 'special' version linked on another similar thread to this.  That version is 6.1.999.130     It is interesting to note that on that version, the first time I click to sign in with a microsoft account, i get the message 'sometimes the internet gets a bit sleepy...' when I click it again, it goes to the white screen, flashes a few times and says this page contains errors, go back.

  • Hi, there is a game in facebook. when i open it. it again & again relods & after few relods it says that this page contains error. but in other browsers it opens easily without any problem

the link is of a game pool live tour

Does it work if you reload?
    How fast is your connection?
    Do you get any timeouts?
You can try the "Firefox/Tools > Web Developer > Web Console" and enable "Net > Logging" to see if how long it takes to load content.
Another possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
You can check any advanced rules in the firewall to make sure that nothing is blocked.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

What version of Windows are you on (XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 )? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

What is the version of Internet Explorer installed on your computer?
In Internet Explorer go to Help -> About Internet Explorer.
P.S. Please, don’t say that you are not using Internet Explorer. This is irrelevant. Skype depends on Internet Explorer.

This message also appears on some, but not all books I purchased earlier.
I've tried to restart my iPhone (5) and downloaded iBooks (and the books itself) again several times but nothing has changed. I’m also synced the iPhone via iTunes without luck.
It’s the latest version of iBooks from Appstore. The same books on iBooks for iPad and Mac working fine!

I have the same problem. I've tried to restart my Ipad and downloaded the book again several times but nothing has changed. There aren't any reviews on the book with that problem and I've got the latest version of iBook so I don't know what else I can do to get the book which I've paid for. Does anyone have another idea what I could do? (maybe one of the above might help you, Paul)
    Thanks

More and more often I'm getting this message in Safari. I don't recall every getting this message at all until recently and every day it seems to have more and more. What's the issue and is there anything I can do about it?
This page contains the following errors:
error on line 1 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document

    Hi,
www.logitech.com/revolution works fine on my version of Safari (2.0.4 v419.3) so it's not specifically a Safari bug as such.
One quick test you can do to help narrow down things is to try Safari in another user account. This will help us to know whether your problem is local to your account or system wide. If you don't have another account you can use System Preferences -> Accounts -> [+] to create a test one (and [-] to remove it if needed)
For your your internet connections are you using any proxies? (You can check in the System Preferences -> Network pane)
Also, what Safari add-ons have you both added in the past? Maybe we can track it down to a common add-on between you both.

  • Ocr  error This page contains renderable text

First time caller, first time user: acrobat 8.0 pro, i purchased acrobat to begin to ocr a lot of pdf's i've made. this first one i've tried to ocr gave me the error message: Acrobat cannot ocr this page, This page contains renderable text. what does this mean and is there a workaround to allow the page to be ocr'd.
I'm not trying to turn it into a word document, I just want to have searchable text, so i believe i choose searchable image, english and 600 dpi, but no dice.
    Roxylee

I keep coming across this renderable text issue in documents I am processing for the web, and frankly, the TIFF work-around is not adequate. We pay a lot for Adobe Professional, and expect more than such a lame work-around which hinders the output quality. In addition, this is a tedious solution for large documents as well.
I have found several other posts on the web about this, with some references to Adobe updates fixing this problem. I have tried them all and none work. Very frustrating.

  • Getting an error message "this page contains the following errors" after downloading books to I pad from bookstore. Also now getting same message on previously downloaded books. What gives?

Getting an error message starting with "this page contains the following error" and continuing with various details in books recently downloaded from the Books app on an I Pad. Also now getting the same message on previously successfully downloaded books. Anyone know whats happening/how to fix? thanks

Try rebooting your iPad. To reboot your iPad, hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears. If, during this process, a slider appears on the screen to power it off, ignore it and keep holding the buttons down.
Rebooting your iPad can solve a lot of problems. Try it and report back.

  • Error:This page contains content of "application/x-java-applet" type. You do not have the plug-in required to view this content.

Hi....i m using Mac OS x 10.5.8 with safari Version 5.0.2 (5533.18.5). I just updated the Java version to Java 6 and now m getting below error:
This page contains content of “application/x-java-applet” type. You do not have the plug-in required to view this content.
Please help me out on this....

I am also having a problem with this. My website is hosted through "www.onlinepictureproof.com" and now that my laptop is back from repair with OS X 10.6.8 I am unable to upload my photos to my work website. It says "a plug-in is needed to display this content. Install plug-in" and then a window pops up that says "no suitable plug-ins were found".  Below that is "unknown plug-in (application/x-java-applet)" with a link to "manual install" which takes me to "http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/index-jsp-141438.html#download" which just leaves me lost. I've tried downloading the "JRE" but I have zero idea what that means or if Im downloading the proper thing. Once I click on the "download JRE" it brings me to a download page where there are WAY too many items for me to choose from to download, when I have no idea what I need or why I need it. please help, this is driving me insane. I actually preferred my constantly crashing laptop to the state its in now, "like brand new" back from apple repair...I have already updated everything that is promted through "Software Updates".
"OnlinePictureProof.com" only directs me to apple support.
Thank you for any help you can offer!
    Sheila

  • APEX 4.1.0 to 4.2.1 This page contains both secure and nonsecure items

I have upgrade Oracle Application Express from 4.1.0 to 4.2.1. After the upgrade, I started to get "Security Information - This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to continue?" at the login page. Once I am logged in, I get the same notification for every button/task that I do. What did I do wrong?
    Sincerely,
    Ronnie A. Tolentino

Do you know which files are not loading with HTTPS?
With any luck they are files you added and you can change them in the template to HTTPS.
If they are files added by APEX, then I'm not sure if there's a way to change it, but you could remove the substitution string that APEX adds and add the files directly to your template with HTTPS. It's not ideal and would need to revise those includes after each upgrade, but it would eliminate the error.
    Or live with it. :-)
    Thanks

  • Acrobat could not perform recognition (OCR) on this page because this page contains renderable text

I have a pdf file, which was OCRed by some other software, I am not satisfied with its accuracy, and would like to run adobe acrobat to OCR it again.
But Adobe says "Acrobat could not perform recognition (OCR) on this page because this page contains renderable text" for each page of the file.
How can I do to re-OCR the file? Thanks!

    CtDave,
I am having a similar problem and tried your suggestion but I still get the same message. Any other thoughts or fixes? The difference in my file is I used to be able to edit the text in the PDF file. For the last few months I am no longer able to edit this file.

  • This page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly...

    Hello Guys
I bought this menu made by f-source into my page:
http://beta.asphalt-driveway-sealing.com/, it's working fine except I got this message each time I am opening my file with dreamweaver CS4: 'this page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly in the most recent versions of Internet Explorer. Dreamweaver cannot  convert them to the new SWF markups. Please delete each of them and insert again' and what I did but still got this message
the developer told me that: "I previous versions of Dreamweaver you could disable the Active
    Content Converter http://f-source.com/before_insert/
In CS4 there is no such option."
Please let me know what can I do then.
    Many Thanks, T&T

    Hi
CS4 uses a 'nested' type of object code to insert swf/flv files, which is more compliant than previous code. Obviously the f-source extension is not cs4 compliant if it is changing this, (the message indicates it is doing so) and is something you should pursue via there support department. However even though it is giving you this message it should still work on live pages.

  • How can I disable warning: "This page contains some SWF objects..."

"This page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly in the most recent version of IE..."
Is there a way to suppress this warning?! I'm doing a find and replace on an old web site, which does not pay well! and this pops up on every page. I have to click on it to continue every time. Making me mad.
    Thanks

Thanks for answering. In my case that won't work because I'm doing a global find and replace of some text.
I agree though, that process would eliminate the message when I have to come back to edit the site again. It's just the thought of many dozens of pages that would need it and to be honest, I'm really not feeling that motivated to do all the up front work right now
Like I said, there should have been a setting for this...
