"This page contains the following errors: error on line 1 at column 1: error on line 1 at column 1: Encoding error Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error"
I am getting this error since purchasing my latest book:
“This page contains the following errors: error on line 1 at column 1: error on line 1 at column 1: Encoding error
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error”
This message also appears on some, but not all books I purchased earlier.
I've tried to restart my iPhone (5) and downloaded iBooks (and the books itself) again several times but nothing has changed. I’m also synced the iPhone via iTunes without luck.
It’s the latest version of iBooks from Appstore. The same books on iBooks for iPad and Mac working fine!
iOS 7.0.6

I have the following Apple Computer: Dual 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4, 2 MB per processor. Can I put install new Intel Xeon processors in place of the current ones to bring my Mac up to the MacPro standards and, if so, can I then install the new Mac software (Lion)?
As has been clearly stated, no, no, and no.
If such an upgrade were possible, it probably would be more money than it would be worth.
If you're running a G4 (dual-processor even) you can pick up a used Mac mini (intel that is, and something from 2010 or newer would be the best bet) that will be screaming fast compared to a G4.
Once upon a time, processor upgrades were not only possible, but a good deal, and a relatively inexpensive way to get more life out of your Mac. I upgraded a G3 tower to a G4 for few hundred dollars, and I was glad I went that route at the time. Finally, CPU upgrades, at least as far as I know, aren't available anymore. -
Is there and app that does the following. Multiple apps are showing a clock in different rooms, all are synced together, one ipad is a master ipad and if you change the time on it all other ipads change the time
None of the spreadsheet apps that work with Excel files offer anything like full native support in iOS. Apple's own Numbers app pairs down features for the iOS version. The hardware is simply not up to what a true computer is capable of, so all apps like QuickOffice, DocumentsToGo, Numbers and so forth offer reduced features from their computer-version counterparts.
I think a custom app will be your only real choice, be it a fully standalone app, or something built in filemaker or some other db-based platform. -
Will the I Pad 2 connectr to a Samsung TV to play a movie from I Tunes. Samsung sent the following.
Dear Phillip,
Thank you for contacting Samsung Electronics.
We understand that you are not able to movies on the iPad on the TV. We are sorry to say that you can connect devices which are DLNA compatible and PC or laptops which are
installed with PC Share manager. If the iPad supports DLNA, you can connec it to the TV and play the files
supported by the TV. The TV supports following file video types : MKV, AVI, MP4, WMV, MPEG, MPG, ASF, 3GP, TS, TP, TRP. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you.
Samsung Online Support.
Any help?What method of connection are you trying to use? DLNA looks like a standard for sharing media between devices over your home network, but I'm fairly certain the iPad doesn't support this protocol. Apple sell adaptors to connect your iPad directly to TV using composite or HDMI connectors. I'd be surpsied if your TV won't support either of those.

Hi all.
I have a page containing a dvt:pivotTable, and a commandButton encapsulating a exportPivotTableData from data visualisation tool.
When running application on Jdeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 integrated weblogic, the export works, open the data in an excel worksheet as wanted.
On our production environnement, the following error appear in the web browser :
OracleJSP error: oracle.jsp.parse.JspParseException:
/gestionApplicative/rapports/masterConso.jspx: Line # 93, <af:commandButton text="Exporter vers Excel" id="exportDVT" icon="/gfx/icon_xls.gif" inlineStyle="margin-top:-5px;margin-bottom:5px;height:25px;">
Error: http://xmlns.oracle.com/dss/adf/faces:exportPivotTableData is not a registered tag in the specified namespace.
Thanks in advance.Hi,
Katarina : how to check this perticular version ?
All I can find is the weblogic version : WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.2.0
The adf oracle domain version : 11.1.1.1.0
Adf oracle domain webapp version : 11.1.1.1.0
If those are not the good version, is there a simple way to upgrade ?
Many thanks.

Lightroom has suddenly stopped recognizing files on my camera's sd cards. An error message pops up "The following files could not be imported because they could not be read." My iphoto app can download them so why can't Lightroom?
The answer is here - about a million times over - and it's not a Lightroom problem. It's actually a Mac OS issue. You need to fix the write permissions on the destination folder for the import.

Delete all entries from the following tables - Follow-up Activities (oracle)
Hello,
I performed a homogeneous system copy of our development BW system with the database (oracle 11.2.0.3) from the BW production system!
I already start the oracle database and the SAP system in the target system/server (development BW system) and I´m doing some follow-up activities. One of this activities is (at the system copy guide 6.2.3.2 Activities at Database Level) is to delete all entries from the following tables:
DBSTATHORA, DBSTAIHORA, DBSTATIORA, DBSTATTORA
I tried to delete them using SQL Plus:
sqlplus /nolog
SQL> connect /as sysdba
SQL> delete from DBSTATTORA;
delete from DBSTATTORA
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
... and it show me that error message.
This is strange because when I go to transaction SE14 and check the DBSTATTORA I see that table exist and contain a lot of entries!
Why this is happened in SQL Plus!? I´m running the correct SQL statement for doing this type of task or not?
How can I delete the entries of that tables? Can I do that using the transaction SE14?
Can you help me please?
Thank you,
samid raifHello
sqlplus /nolog
SQL> connect /as sysdba
SQL> delete from DBSTATTORA;
delete from DBSTATTORA
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
It doesn't surprise me as you are not mentioning the schema name here. Instead it should be
delete from SAPSR3.DBSTATTORA;
Assuming the schema owner is SAPSR3. if the owner is different then replace that with the correct one.

"Do you want to allow the following program..." Message
After installing iTunes 9.2 on my Windows 7 (64bit) laptop, every time I attempt to open iTunes it gives me a message asking "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?". Clicking yes leads the programme to open, but the message appears every single time upon opening.
Also, when iTunes is minimized to the task bar, it will not open and maximize, and doesn't appear as one the applications running on the task manager and must be shut down through the processes.
I have uninstalled all Apple software and reinstalled iTunes multiple times as well as moved all my music off my computer.
Any ideas on a solution?Many thanks. I think we'd better try rebuilding your iTunes preference files in the account that is getting the errors.
For the basic technique, see the *Remove iTunes Preference files* section of the *User-specific troubleshooting* section of the following document:
[iTunes for Windows Vista or Windows 7: Troubleshooting unexpected quits, freezes, or launch issues|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1717]
*Prior to doing the preference file rebuilds:* Best to make a note of any custom preferences you have set up for your iTunes. (Rebuilding pref files returns preferences to their defaults ... so you'll likely have to set some of those custom preferences up again from scratch.) Also make a note of any third-party plugins/add-ons you have installed. You may have to reinstall those after the rebuilds.
*Things to watch out for during the rebuilds*
Rebuilding the preference files in the \Local\ location causes the iTunes license agreement to run. So you'll need to agree to that again.
Rebuilding the preference files in the \Roaming\ location causes the iTunes Setup Assistant to run. When prompted to do so, *do not* add files to your iTunes library. (Otherwise you'll end up with a library full of duplicates.)
... are those measures of any help with the launch error and the maximising troubles in your usual user account, sana? -
Please help. Want to order completed book but received the following message, "your book appears to have unedited text which will not be printed in your book." What does that mean? Why did the program let me use text that will not print?
Go thru every page in the book and look for any text box. Unused text boxes will have somegthing like this in them:
or this:
Just put a space in those text boxes where you didn't put text previously. Check the inside flaps of the book jacket also. -

How to calculate the circumference of a circle based on the following Circle class?
I have the following sealed Cirlce class
public sealed class Circle
private double radius;
public double Calculate(Func<double, double> op)
return op(radius);
I need to calculate the circumference of a (an arbitrary) circle based on this class without modifying the class. Here is what I tried that is not working:
Circle cir = new Circle();
double circ = 2 * Math.PI * cir.Calculate(5, 5);
How can I calculate a circumference of a circle based on this scenario?
Rich POk, let's clarify:
Facts:
1. The radius-field is private, and you can't set it via a public member like a method/property.
2. You don't want to change the class, but the radius
That means in other words you want to change a private field from outside of the class, which is not nice, but possible:
Circle cir = new Circle();
var field = cir.GetType().GetField("radius",BindingFlags.Instance|BindingFlags.NonPublic);
field.SetValue(cir, 5);
double circ = cir.Calculate((radius) => 2 * Math.PI * radius);
Ha, and now, did I manage to pass the skills test question? ;-)

NEED URGENT ASSISTANCE ON THE FOLLOWING..
MY NAME IS CRYSTAL I NEED HELP ON THE FOLLOWING ASSIGNMENT ASAP PLEASE REPLY WITH SOLUTION VIA EMAIL TO [email protected]..
THANKS IN ADVANCE..
Write a C# program (WPF-Design the Screen layout) that reads
an employee number, pay rate and the number of hours worked in a week. The program is then to
validate the pay rate field and the hours worked field, and if valid,
compute the employee’s weekly pay and then print it including the input data.
Validation
According to the company’s rules, the maximum hours an employee can work per week is 60 hours, and the maximum hourly rate is R25.00 per hour. If the hours worked field or the hourly rate field is out of range, the input data and
an appropriate message are displayed and the employee’s weekly pay is not to be calculated.
Weekly pay calculation
Weekly pay is calculated as hours worked times pay rate, if more than 35 hours are worked, payment for the overtime hours worked is calculated as (pay rate * 1.5).

Try and work out the answer for yourself first of all; that's always the best way to learn. If, after doing this, you are still having problems post to the appropriate website stating what your difficulty is and asking people if they are able to help you
with that particular difficulty.
I think many people don't like just providing answers to assignment questions on websites. -
The following files were not compiled:
I'm getting this message in my compile log for one of our smaller projects after compiling the project to an HTMLHelp (.chm) output:
The following files were not compiled:
Images\example_scan_mode_1.bmp
Images\example_scan_mode_2.bmp
Images\example_scan_mode_3.bmp
Finished compiling HTMLHELP in 26 sec(s)
Compilation complete.
But the files exist in the appropriate directory and are listed in the project manager under Images. Anyone have an easy way to resolve this?
Thanks in advance,

RoboHelp 7 (latest RH7)Hi all
Something else that may be at play here is the file format involved. Generally speaking, "web friendly" image formats are .GIF, .JPG and .PNG. .BMP isn't really considered to be a "web friendly" image format.
Cheers... Rick

Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments
Dear Support,
I have an issue with attachment with Outlook. It is showing "Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments". I can't download,view the attachments with the mail.
The scenario is, I was on Outlook 2010 and upgraded to Outlook 2013 and the mails before a particular date has this attachment issue. I mean if I get mail today, there is no issues. I can download,view etc. I tried most of the registry entries like Level1,
etc but not solving at all. I have copied some emails from that to pst and tried on another PC, it was not working..
Please help me to fix this because the attachments are very important to us
ThanksHi,
Which type of email account are you using? Do you leave copies of your emails on the server? If so, we may first check if you can view or download the attachments from web access.
Does this issue happen to all types of email attachments received before a particular date? Please note that Outlook blocks some file types by default, you may check the list in the following link:
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Blocked-attachments-in-Outlook-3811cddc-17c3-4279-a30c-060ba0207372
In addition, by "I tried most of the registry entries like Level1", do you mean that you tried adding the following registry but still not fix the issue?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Security
String Value: Level1Remove
Value: Type the file name extension of the file type that you want to open in Outlook. For example:
.exe.
If still no luck, we may also try other methods listed in the following article:
https://support.microsoft.com/kb/829982?wa=wsignin1.0
Please let me know the result.
