This Pic cannot be imported correctly

Someone is gonna kick me for this, and I will eventually kick myself I know.
But for the life of me, I cannot import the following photo into iMovie from iPhoto and make it look great.
http://www.tbrstudio.com/newpics/D2X_1395w.jpg
It is jagged, jagged, jagged. It seems like I have tried everything from using higher rez, to adjusting the aspect ratio in Photoshop to meet the information I have read in this discussion group. It appears that most folks are exporting their iMovies to iDVD. I am not. I am going to offer this streamed through my website, or as part of a purchase folks make from me. Almost all of my other photos look fine, but this will not do what I wish it would do.
Any advice I receive would be fantastic and much appreciated.
Cheers,
Joel

Some more questions: (Sorry)
• Are your iMovie Playback preferences set to Highest? If not, change to that setting. Anything lower will look pretty bad.
• Do you recall if you granted iMovie permission to render images when exporting? If you granted permission, that may have caused the jaggies on still images.
If you don't know, import the problem photo with the Ken Burns checkbox both on and off, then export again. When it asks, tell iMovie NOT to render. After the export, check the quality of those two clips in iMovie. If the clips look better than the clips imported earlier, that suggests the jaggies were added because of that bug.
• Other movies imported to iMovie may "turn into a jaggy mess" if they were smaller than iMovie's movie format. If they had to be scaled up in size, that will always affect image quality negatively. They can look pretty terrible, depending on the quality of the imported movie and its size.
• What type of project is it? DV? (The type is shown at the end of the window title at the top of the window. It will say something like "DV-NTSC".)
BTW, QuickTime, the system software iMovie uses, is a very complicated, multi-faceted environment, more complicated than anything else we do on our computers. Although iMovie does a great job protecting us from that complexity, there are tons of ways we can mess up a project.
So when describing a problem, please include whatever details you can. Otherwise the problem has so many possible answers, we're left guessing, with nothing useful to say.
I know it's hard to know what information to include, for you're new to the Mac and probably to QuickTime. But tell us what you can, for even the vaguest information helps. If you need help finding out answers to questions, just ask.
I would be remiss if I didn't suggest a couple ways to learn more than can ever be covered here.
• Apple's iMovie tutorial is very useful, although I suspect you're past much of what it offers:
http://www.apple.com/ilife/tutorials/imovie/
• David Pogue's book "iMovie 6 & iDVD: The Missing Manual" will help you quickly get your head around these two programs. It's great for both getting a quick start and considerable depth of knowledge. And it's a fun read.
http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/imovie06tmm/
Pogue's book about Mac OS X is an excellent introduction to the Mac.

  • This workflow cannot be imported because it was created in SharePoint Designer for a different Site

Hello everyone.  I am getting this error when attempting to move minor workflow changes from mirror SharePoint development / production environments and hoping someone can help me.
"This workflow cannot be imported because it was created in SharePoint Designer for a different site, or the original workflow has been moved or deleted.  To move a workflow between sites, use Save as Template (.wsp file) instead of a Visio workflow
    drawing."
So basically I have taken an image of our single SharePoint server, Domain Controller, and a client and restored them to an OFFLINE development environment for the testing of workflow changes prior to production.  I've put quite a bit of time into one
particularly and would like to export/import rather than re-created from scratch.
I've successfully created the form template and imported.  This created the necessary list items nicely and the form appears to work as expected.  However, when attempting to import the .VWI file exported from dev SharePoint, I am getting the above
error.  If I change the .VWI to .zip and remove the "workflow.xoml.wfconfig.xml" file, then re-zip and change the file extension back to .VWI I get a dialog that allows me to import, but I have to choose a new name and much of the related content
is lost.  I need to be able to overwrite/merge the existing workflow with the import.  Any suggestions?
One strange thing I ran into was during a test of an export/import from and to the exact same environment. If I simply export to .VWI, then import from .VWI with no changes, SAME everything I still get this error. Very weird. Hoping someone can shed some
light on the subject. Thank you.

    Hello,
We recently changed to TFS as our bug tracking system and trying to understand how to change the existing states of Bug\Add new states. We installed TFS 2013 Update 4 and followed below process to change state values. For example, I would like to change

I am on a PC. AE version 12.1.0.168. It is updated.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem. We are working on a feature film shot on Sony F55 in 4K RAW.

First, your AE needs to be updated. The current version is 12.2.1.5
If that does not fix the problem let us know.
Second question, are you using the Sony import utility? If not, give that a try. Last question, can you open the files in Premiere Pro? I hope you are not trying to cut a feature film in After Effects.

    Hi Adit,
According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when you deployed the .wsp files to SharePoint 2013.
I recommend to check if all the assemblies are put into the BIN and GAC.
If above cannot work, you can check the troubleshooting steps in the link below:

  • Prores files not recognized... most of the time [message -- file '[file name].mov' cannot be imported – this 'MooV' file is damaged or unsupported.]

Running AE CC 13.2 on iMac with Yosemite 10.10.2
I just started getting an error message when trying to import any number of ProRes 422 (HQ) files.
file ‘[file name].mov’ cannot be imported – this ‘MooV’ file is damaged or unsupported.
This happens approximately 90% of the time. There have been occasions where I can open and view files of this type.
I have gone through the various troubleshooting options here:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/aftereffects/2013/08/solutions-for-problems-with-quicktime-files-in -after-effects-cc-12-0-because-of-conflict-with-dvcprohdvideoout-quicktime-component.html
I reinstalled ProApps to no avail.
    Permissions are fine.
Creative Cloud recently updated AE over the past few days. Perhaps this incremental update fouled something up? Last weekend, things worked perfectly fine.
I have also noticed that it takes a lot longer to load AE (since using last weekend). I have used Time Machine to roll the application back to last week's version to see if that helps.
    Any insight is appreciated.

The update last week was just to Adobe Camera RAW and not really AE. It would be unlikely to cause the issues you describe. Have you tried turning your Mac all the way off and then back on again?

    Hi Ashok,
According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error after you re-built a SharePoint 2007 solution with VS2012, and deployed it.
Make sure the Namespace and Type Name are consistent across all files where indicated. Also with matching case sensitivity. Verify web.config file and assembly in GAC or virtual directory bin folder in post deployment.
More information, please refer to the link below:

This past weekend we decided to create a new database server and migrate the databases to the new server in an effort to retire an old box.
INitially we attempted to go through the configuration wizard which didnt do anything but add a new database server to our farm.  What we have done is remove the new database server from the farm and use an alias on the SP server to continue to use
the same name but actually get its data from the new database server.
Everything works with the site except these custom webparts.
Any thoughts on where to go to first, should i redeploy what i think are the webparts from VS 2005 (solutions are VS 2005 slns.)?

You need to make Safe Control enteries in your web.config for the particular web application.
    Open web.config
    Locate the SafeControls Tag
    Make a safe control entry
    <SafeControl Assembly="Assembly name, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=d8eb6481d8b4beec" Namespace="your webpart namespace" TypeName="*" Safe="True" />
In order to find the assembly details, Open the GAC. Right click on your dll and then click properties.
