my O.P. concernd the point/level thing... I complained the lost of level-indicators, because I'm used to use them as quality indicators; that's why I wrote never change..., because changing something, I experienced as reliable & good is just "allowed" by something "better"... which I haven't found yet, even more, the level systems still works in some "stealth mode", isn't transparent for the average user as me......
your statement/background info touches the p.o.v. of an engineer... who has to hold a system stable with 100k of users, 24/d, with zillions of posts... chapéau for that!.... my Qs is from the the other side's p.o.v....

Posting period for idoc mbgmcr goods movement

i am trying to run idoc mbgmcr as a standard inbound function module in we19
i use posting date 20070415 - i get posting period 004 2007 is not open
so i try using posting date 20070515 - i get posting only possible in 2007/04 and 2007/03
so i go into mmpv for cc 3000 2007 04 - i see the current period(mo/yr) for control rec is 04 2007
i also go into omsy and i see for cc 3000 2007 4
so i assume it should let me post using a posting date 20070415
so i guess i am really confused about this posting date for mbgmcr
i have already tried to close an old period and open a new that is why i am at period 04 2007
any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

now i get for object rf_beleg 3000, number range interval 50 does not exist FBN1
so i absolutely know nothing about FI and what i need to change in this transaction ob52 but i think that is what needs to be done
so ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED DIRECTING ME IN WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN THIS TRANSACTION

I downloaded a free App. called ThaiPad from Bangkok Post newswpapers. I downloaded on my PC running Windows 7. The Bangkok Post recommended itunes for downloading. I completed the download but it would not open. I assume that this App was for iPad or iPod etc as the Bangkok Post wants to sell content, after the free content, via itunes store I assume. Can someone tell me if I can open this in Windows 7 and if so how. Thanks.
Any app that you download using iTunes is for use only on iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, and not on a PC. It's possible they have a separate app for PC, as some companies do, but the one you downloaded via iTunes definitely will not open in Windows 7.

Why can I no longer, after having downloaded Lion, write accents and other diacriticals when in the Google, Yahoo, FaceBook, or even here in this post? The new method for getting at the "option" symbols works fine in other places like spotlight, but now even the older "option+letter" doesn't work in most places.
Chrome doesn't support the new accent/diacritics/macron chooser. I'm not sure about other browsers such as Firefox. You can use the old Option+letter combination that Doug suggested. Hopefully updates will solve these little incompatibilities shortly.

I am thinking abut the Studio High Definition Powered Isolation Headphones with Noise Cancellation. In trying to find the place with the 2 miles/$1 spent and the lowest price is too much for my drained brain to handle. If anybody knows the place that gives the 2 miles/$ spent and the best price for the exact product please sent it my way. (Not the product but the answer) lol.
I do have a question at Newegg they have a special add-on which I am not sure if it is worth getting. is there somebody who can tell me what this is and if it is worth getting the two together. We just had a 600 laptop image delopoyment of macbook pro's and since we
were rushed to do this in one day…. i forgot to connect them to wireless before
creating an image. (worked from 5am ~ 5 am)
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO create a login script, where to place it,
and how to push out wireless setting so when a user logs in, it would automatically
bind them to a certain wireless?
We want to strictly do this through our Mac os x server snow leopard.
Please help as I am going back this Sunday to resolve this. I will have to
manually open up 600 laptops and add them to the wireless if i don't

here is what i typed up so far but i don't know how to make the file. I know the command to run throgh shell but do not know how to make the file run so when i put it in login script it will place this wireless setting on all computers.

Problem: Why does this only work for powers of 2?
I wrote this program to create a golf league schedule for, ideally, eight players. However I want it to be flexible enough to permit for other denominations, such as 10 or 12. When I run the program it works perfectly for any number that is a power of 2 (2,4,8,16,32,etc...) but it will not work for other even numbers such as 6,10, or 12. If anyone has any insights it would be most helpful.

}//end WeekAh, I have discovered the problem. The reason for the infinite loop was because of the resetting of the counter/index after every successful match entry back to (a - 1). This was causing matches to be put into weeks where they didn't belong, which caused the program to infinitely loop because it couldn't find an appropriate week to place it's next match. The only time the count should be reset back to zero is when a new player A is being processed or the last valid array index has been referenced before an out of bounds exception would be thrown. I'm still not entirely sure why this doesn't occur on powers of 2 but theh again I haven't put too much thought into it having solved the initial problem! :)

Since you don’t allow emails any more – I suspect because of the numerous complaints with your service and the way you treat people that you don’t want documented, I am calling and I want this call recorded for future reference.
I have been a long time faithful customer of vzw and although the past year I have been late on payments many times and really couldn’t afford your exorbitant prices for services lots of other companies offer sometimes three times cheaper than what you charge, I have hung in there trying my best to meet my obligations.
This month has been no exception. You don’t know the background; the whole story of people’s lives. I know you could care less because all you care about is the profit-the money that comes in.
I was told when I agreed to pay my bill on the third per the recorded message that I had 14 days to pay…you cut me off anyway. The phones are not the tissue; your suspending my service means I cannot work. I may lose my job…how do you justify that? In any case? The least you could do would be to keep 4986 on and cut the phones off. But no. You refuse to compromise and meet the basic needs of your customer. What does that say about your company? I tried to call back on three separate occasions to tell you I couldn’t pay because of unexpected expenses but couldn’t get out of the automated system…sadly couldn’t get to a real person which also speaks volumes to me.
All this tells me this is a company I don’t wish to be affiliated with any more. As soon as I can, I will discontinue service with you…I know you could care less. I will honor the remaining portion of the contract but that’s it. You don’t deserve my business. I am a good, hardworking person who, at the sacrifice of myself and my needs, always pays her bills…albeit late at times. I realize others tell you stories and lies to justify themselves. That’s not me. If you knew what I had been through the last 7 yrs you would marvel that I am still on my feet…don’t judge too quickly. You could be wrong…and in my eyes you are by doing this to me.
God will see us through this extremely scary time of that I have no doubt. No thanks to your company and lack of understanding and mercy. I am doing the best I can. Sadly you are not.
See I have choices. MANY choices of providers for services you offer. I don’t have to be treated like this. I don’t have to succumb to your coldness and callousness. I intend to choose better (and cheaper). If your company doesn’t get the “people factor” back you will be sorry.Problem here is you admit you cannot afford the service.
And you want to blame Verizon for losing a job because you have no cell phone.
If your job depends on that phone I would pay it on time every time if you need a job to pay your bill.
No other service is going to treat you any different. And if you cannot afford Verizon's monthly invoice how are you going to afford new devices, activation fees, possible security deposits on any other cellular carrier? You can't.
Also if you made an arraignment to pay and then decide you cannot do so, why should Verizon extend you service or credit, or why is it you want to use the service and data and not pay for it as agreed.
Get a prepay phone. Its evident the cost is too high for you to afford on post pay.

Automate the opening of MM periods
How can you automate the monthly opening of MM periods (transaction MMPV - program RMMMPERI) with
SM36?
RMMMPERI accepts a period/year or a date.
If you enter a date the period is derived by it.
1. create a variant and check the attribute 'selection variable' for the parameter date. Then click the button 'Selection variables' and set the current date. Every time this variant is used the parameter DATE is filled with the current date.
2. create a job for RMMMPERI with the variant created in the preceding step. Set it as periodic.
If you're not using a fiscal year variant simply schedule it as monthly (to be executed the first day of the month).
If you are using a fiscal year variant you'd have to define a calendar with only the first day of each period defined as working
day and use it in the periodicity restrictions.
Another possibility:
Write a very simple ABAP which run daily to check if the period has changed and submit RMMMPERI.

I need your assistance about at Period End-Closing. I got a customer from Costa Rica; the point is his fiscal periods go from October to September and We have the problem the customer didnt prevent this topic and He added the periods from January to December. The question is: is there an financial option or what process We can follow to execute this topic on the best way possible?

The issue if i presume correctly is that they are following the year as Jan to December and they want to do the closing for the october to September which are two posting periods (October- December of Previous Year) and (Jan to September current year).
This seems to be the incorrect entry of the Posting periods as they follow October to September Posting Period.
You can try the workaround as follows in the TEST COPY of the database :
Try to close two Posting Periods; for the October to December and Jan to September separately and check the figures. I believe you need to involve the company accountant to analyse and also check the various financial reports and the impact on the same.
It cannot be confirmed if the above may be helpful or not but you can try in the COPY to check.
Please test it and check in COPY of the database.
You can go through the above mentioned document for some more information on the Posting Periods.

Problem in entering stock as well as closing posting period for MMRs
Dear All,
Whenever I do goods receipt (tcode: MB1C, movement type: 561) and enter, it gives the error "Posting only possible in 2007/05 and 2007/04 in CoCd XXXX. I know I need to close posting periods for MMRs. But the while doing that using MMPV for 2007/06 and CoCd XXXX, it comes to a screen stating following:

Period entered (month/year) :06 2007
Incorrect period in control rec of CoCd XXXX; no conversion The current period of record (month/year) is 05 2007</b>
Alternatively, I try to close period thru OMSY and change period on "Pe" column, a window pops up saying "The CoCd XXXX no longer be initialised"

It is very clear from the meassage that the current period is 05/2007.
You have to close this.In the screen you have to enter 05 2007.Then it will close 5 th period and opens 6th period.then close 6th period so that it open the current period 7 (If the fisical year variant is calander year).
