I got this error message when opening an old report to make some changes. We use Visual Source Safe so I checked out the bill and went to open it. After I opened this bill and that error popped up, I got a message saying the report was read only and I couldn't make any changes. I googled the error and it said something about my printer settings needing to be changed. How do I go about changing the printer settings if I can't edit the bill?

This warning message comes only when there is no printer software exist in the machine which you have used in the report while developing. So when you open the report you will get this warning message and if you click on OK then it takes the system defult printer software settings. If you want to overcome this warning message then open the report in crystal designer and go to "page setup" and check the option "No Printer" and save the report. Now if you open the report again it doesn't prompt the warning message.

Apple has made a serious error not advising people when the Lion upgrade occurs that their present software may/will not be compatible and advise the user of such before and allow a opt out.
All you can do (besides upgrading all your software) is backup your data off the machine (not to TimeMachine) and disconnect all drives.
Hold c boot off the 10.6 disk and erase your makers hard drive on the far left, (that's the entire drive of everything)
Partition tab: Option: GUID, format OS X extended and click apply so you get a new GUID (replacing the Lion one or trouble occurs later)
Quit and install 10.6, then go through setup and use the same name as before, then update to 10.6.8
Then c boot off the 10.6 disk again and use Disk Utility to Repair the disk the 10.6.8 update messed up.
Then install all your programs again from fresh sources and lastly your user files in the same main user folders as before (music, pictures, documents etc.)
Done as described will get you back just like it was before as close as possible, make SURE to use the same username or else your iTunes and other files get all messed up. Password and drive name can be different though if you wish.
Note: if you've upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6, then you don't get the free iLife as it's not on the 10.6.3 white disks, only on the disks that came with your machine. So that will have to be purchased and reinstalled or use Pacifist to extract it from the 10.5 disks.

Same thing for a movie file.. If you want to play back the movie via a DVD and a DVD player you must create a Movie DVD and not just burn files to a data DVD... as Data DVDs are just storage devices for files and therefore will only work with computers...
Movie DVDs are special formats that include things like menus and special file formats.. so they can playback via a DVD Player...
You will need a 3rd party DVD Burning app like Toast which is what i actually use.... or the more popular DVD Creator app...to create and then burn a Movie DVD that will playback on a DVD Player....

The report should give the values of a K.F (return rate), in the following manner .
july july-aug july - sep july - oct july - nov.
i.e it should always give the values of that K.F starting from july , then july -aug , then july-sep , july-oct and july -nov ..(it shld show the cumulated values starting from july )
The fiscal year always starts from july and ends with june .
say if you give 0calmonth = FEB 2007, THEN THE TREPORT SHOULD FETCH TE VALUES

Are you saying that the tick-box shown in my screenshot, isn't there? (Yes, this is iTunes 11 - I've turned on the sidebar and the Menu bar. So you can see, this is a CD in my drive that we're looking at.)
If it isn't, go to Edit/Preferences/General and turn on the tick-box box
You can show the Menu Bar (with Edit on it) by using CTRL + B

I need your help please in this issue.
I am creting a report using reports designer in oracle, well the fact is i don't know how to do the following:
if i have for example in the report the following to be diplayed :
Date Amount Balance
25/5/2011 2000
27/5/2011 5000 should be calculated and equal to 2000+5000=*7000*
28/5/2011 4000 calculated and equal to 7000 + 4000=*11000*
29/5/2011 1000 calculated equal to 11000 + 1000 = 12000
what is the method so i can get the balance values calculated 7000, 11000 and 12000? what do i do? any hints please

Hello I am having big problems at the moment with a slow computer when I am using Photoshop CS5 I am informed that I am low on memory. I do not store any photographs on my computer they are all on an external hard drive, the only image on the computer are the ones I am working with. I am having a similar issue with iTunes Match. It keeps hanging up on the same number of files (11035 of 15455) during STEP 2. I've tried signing out, re-opening iTunes, re-booting, etc. Still comesup stuck for hours. What I also don't understand is why the "iCloud Status" option in "View/View Options" disappears intermittently. It was there when I first booted up this morning and I reviewed all my music files to see if there were any "errors" and there werne't any. But after Match gets stuck on the same file niumber (11035) I 've signed out and re-booted and now the "iCloud Status" check box is missing from "View Options" (only the "iCloud Download" option remains present all the time. Please help. (I've also checked to make sure all the music files are within the suggested bit rate parameters and file type - This is also a brand new iMac out of the box). Running out of troubleshooting ideas and beginning to think this service just doesn't work well.

Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

IPad printing help, please.

I have a Cannon MP620 and it is connected to my AirPort Extreme. I am having no trouble printing from my MacBook, but am having trouble printing from our iPad.
When I go to print on the iPad, it looks for printers, but is unable to find it. The iPad has all the updated software as well. Any thoughts? Thank you.

You may have two strikes against you. As Drsailer states, your printer is not on the AirPrint-compatible printer list.
Second, the printer must be connected either by WiFi or by Ethernet to a compatible WiFi router such as the AirPort Extreme. Connecting the printer to the router's USB port does not work with AirPrint.
There are several apps available that will allow you to print either directly to the printer or via a program that shares your computer's printers. Either case is a compromise.
Using an iPad "printing app" such as PrintCentral substitutes an alternate text, browser, mail and photo app for printing. In other words, the iPad native apps still won't print!
Using a program like Printopia, requires your computer to be available to share its printer.
