How is it that you want us to use itunes as our default media player but you don’t let us edit our TV Shows as TV Shows!!! I have an ipod media and i have my own TV shows on DVD I converted so i could watch them on my ipod! now why can't i get them organized so that I can finally watch them w/o having to scroll through all my movies? I don't want to use a program to illegally alter their id tags. You want more people to buy stuff off itunes I suspect? Then why don’t you let them use it as their default player the way they want to use it!?!? Would not that get more people to use the program and in return get more users to view your products?!? Please fix this. I realize you have the market share to do whatever right now but this won't stand man! This is just one of the frustrations i have for this program. thanks if you can help.

If you've bought a film from iTunes then you can only copy it to a DVD or CD for backup purposes, you won't be able to watch it on a stand-alone DVD player.

Then it sounds like the FW800 to 400 adapter just gets in the way. You don't have FW800 case? on my MDD G4 I added and used FW800 controller and cases from OWC and Sonnet.

I think as drive capacities increase, the old 10-15% becomes less accurate. The amount of free space you need doesn't really have anything to do with the drive size. So, increasing your drive size shouldn't mean that you need to have more free GB (which using a % of drive space would mean). You need free space to accommodate page outs (the amount of which would depend on how much RAM you have installed and how memory intensive the applications are), sleep images (again, this would max out at your total amount of RAM), and a bit to minimize fragmentation.
With desktop drives commonly in the 2TB range today, it is certainly not necessary to have 200GB+ free in order to maintain proper operation. I generally find about 30GB to be the minimum I'm comfortable with. Mind you, I pretty much always have way more than that available. But, if I'm working on a system and the amount of free space is at least 30GB, I would generally not site drive space as the cause of any performance issues. I'd say that 30GB is a minimum for a stable system (with 8GB or RAM installed). Of course at that amount, you would still need to free up space if you were to want to install or download any significant amount of data.
With servers being more likely to run into the 16GB of RAM range, more storage would be necessary. Most servers should be well stocked with storage, but the actual needs would vary greatly depending on what's being "served".
The 10-15% thing came about when we used to talk about drive capacities in hundreds of MBs and RAM in terms of KB (not MB and certainly not GB). More drive space is always a good thing, but as drive capacities continue to sky rocket, we don't need to dedicate larger amounts of storage on systems with the same specifications. A set amount of space is required for proper operation regardless of the capacity of the drive installed.

The links that you posted describes Apple security updates. What exactly are you trying to download and what error message are you getting?
If you are trying to update the iPad and you are usingn iTunes, disable your antivirus software and turn off your firewall.

My macbook pro is just over 3 years old now and off and on during this time the screen will just go all black. Lately this blackout is lasting longer and I was wondering what is causing this. I am afraid that this will not come back on in the future.

My MacBook pro is just over 3 years old now and the screen has totally blacked out for a few seconds at a time. It will come back on in a few seconds with the exception this past month it has stayed black for a longer period of time like one minute. It scares me to think that one of these times it won't come back on. I have noticed it happens more often when I am using just the battery power. Does anyone have any idea what causes this? just to mention my battery was not low when this happens.

if your MacBook Pro is a 15-inch Mid 2010 model (“MacBookPro6,2”), then it might be exhibiting the defect that is documented on this Apple Support page. If your black screen is due to this defect, then that page states that Apple will service this problem on this specific model of MacBook Pro gratis, for three years from the date of purchase. However, some commenters here have noted that sometimes the servicing is done gratis without having proof of the date of purchase. If you have an Apple Store near you, you might consider bringing your MacBook Pro there to have them check for the presence of this defect.
It is only the 15-inch Mid 2010 model that has this problem; no other model suffers from it.

Verizon will not stand behind there warranties of accessories for 8X

On 07/10/2013 I purchased a HTC8X bundle package from Verizon that consisted of the phone and car charger screen protector and a otter box defender case. On 03/22/2014 the clip on the case fell apart I felt sure all I had to do was go to my local Verizon store and it would be taken care of I mean after all it is a Verizon sold accessory that they always promote a 1 year replacement warranty. At my local store in Spartanburg S.C. I have never been treated so badly in the 10 plus years I have been doing business with them. The sales associate made it a point to be little me in a store full of potential customers by telling me that Verizon no longer warranties accessories and he would be happy to give me the number to OTTER BOX THAT'S WHO YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM. Now someone please help me here I thought I was speaking to the entity at which I purchased and entered in a contract of 2 years when I bought the phone .Only now for some unknown reason Verizon can make up new rules in the middle of the game or just change them to suit themselves or maybe it wasn't Verizon at all, maybe it was just a non caring sales associate who was there to make sales and not worry about us people who pay our outrageous phone bill every month for a level of service that Verizon has completely forgotten about the same thing that made Verizon successful is going to be the very thing that will bring then down to the point of graveling for customers . Now let me tell you about the real funny part after calling Verizon's corporate # and remaining on the phone for 20 minutes before speaking to a real person,I was then told to take the phone to my local store where they would help me! Styling Rules, can anyone explain to me why this will not work?

I am creating a Custom Theme, for some reason Mapviewer generates the first two rules of this and then ignore the last two rules. It does not matter if the 2nd rules is any of the last 3, it will generate the markers associates with the query, but after it does that it ignore the last two styles. In the code below, the state labels all work fine. M.Green is displayed but not M.Amber or M.Red, if I was to put M.Red or M.Amber in the place of M.Green it will only display that style. So I know the queries are correct. I their some sort of limit on the amount of Rules I can have? In the MapDef tool it all looks correct but I can't edit the queries as I reach the character limit of the tool so I have to do this in SQL.

I should have all this figured out. I have created my advanced theme, and it seems to be working fine. The problem I am running into is when I try and get the data for my mouseover infotip window the Mapviewer is failing saying that the decription string I am trying to display in my infotip window is failing whenever it is trying to display any text string:

Iphone 4 went into recovery mode when trying to restore, only option available now is to "restore and update" however this will not work, how can you restore from a backup once in recovery mode and only option is "restore and upgrade"? Please help!

iPhone 4 went into recovery mode when trying to restore it. Now the only option iTunes allows is for "restore & upgrade", it is not offer an option to restore from a backup, says that must first do the upgrade, when attempting to do the upgrade the iPhone won't accept it.

If you purchased about 2 years ago new I am sure it is a Intel iMac. To find out what type of iMac you have just click on the Apple menu item in the finder and select about this Mac. I would check the ISP mail site and get the correct outgoing mail server info.

Hi -before you go buying new cables, I would ask, is your booster only designed for Windows computers or does it have also have an installation setup with drivers for Macs - this could be why the Mac doesn't recognize it.
