Thoughts on purchase please!
My daughter is off to university in the fall, and will require a new laptop to replace a desktop PC. We have been considering a MacBook Pro - but it seems that all the on-campus support is for PCs only. I have years of experience with my Macbook, but none with running PC software on it. How difficult is it for a non-technical person to make a Mac run in a PC world? Any suggestions?

This forum you are in now is for the original MBP; there are some nice evolutionary change the newer one have over the old ones.

Try the following:
In Finder, select the problematic volume and then press command-I.
Expand the Sharing & permissions section if it's collapsed.
If the section is locked, then unlock it by pressing the padlock button and then authenticating as directed.
Tick/check Ignore ownership on this volume. -

I Thought I purchased the yearly subscription to be able to call spain from a landline or mobile to spain and i have not been able to use it, it is telling me to purchase something again. am i going to purchase twice or give me directions on how i should call?

can't download anything from app store or itunes. everytime i try to install an app i get this error "there is a billing problem with a previous purchase. please update ur payment method". i have recently changed my visa debit card and home adress and when i make these changes i still get the same error.
will u please help me out?Are you listing the billing address for the card correctly? The address in the iTunes/MAS account must match the address on your bill exactly.

You can contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department at no charge using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find an "Email Us" button) and explain your problem to them.

This problem is only about webforms. We can correctly input data through Data Grids or Client 32.

Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History. -

We have created an app that has free content and are now trying our first in-app purchase. We've updated the app with the in-app purchase and have gotten Apple's approval and it is now available for download on the App store. The problem we are having is that some users are able to download the in-app purchase folio with no problems, while others are getting this error: "Error During Purchase: Please try again later." We are not seeing any differences between the iPad's/app versions being used. The latest versions of iOS and of the app are producing these inconsistent errors. For the ones having errors, we have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but still getting the same error message. Any advice on what could be going on?

- Did you use the same Product ID when creating the in-app purchase and publishing the folio?
Yes, I'm using the same Product ID. So, after publishing the folio, it appears at my in-app test.
- Are the retail folios set as public?
If I publish a free issue, I can test the download. The problem is when I set it as retail. The issue and the price appears, but when I try to make the purchase, after I confirm my purchase with an Apple test user, with the [Environment: Sandbox], it says: "ERROR DURING PURCHASE - Please try again later"
- Are your in-app purchases cleared for sale?
I think so. When I published, I've set as Public, Retail and the same Product ID I used at iTunnes Connect. So, when I'm testing at my in-app, the folio appears. Is there any other place I have to go?
