In 11g the user running utl_smtp et. al. packages needs a grant for network ACLs (access control list), see

Support note 1209644.1 is also one of the hits on the ora-24247 error.
Sounds like you haven't setup the ACL correctly.
Can you post the code that you used?I have also enabled the ACL by following the referred link by the user.
After that i tried to access the URL which is outside the firewall. If i enabled the ACL means then the URL has to be accessible and this is the way that i tried

You write that the test worked "before development implemented security" and now you are getting a message that says "access denied". You need to present the error details to the developers and ask them what aspect of
security or permissions are now required. The error message quoted is not complete, there is nothing after "errorType" and no closing curly brace, so we cannot really tell what the problem is.
It is possible that a log within the web site has more details of the request and the failure reason. Ask the developers to check the web site logs and tell them the exact date and time of when the error occurred.

There is something different about that thread. At the top it has a link saying "Branched to a new thread." with a link that is invalid in Jiveworld. So something is/was going on with that thing, and it is/was probably another bug.

Missing Boot Camp Partition

Hi,
I went through the entire thread ("Missing Operating system_ " After installing Yosemite) to try and fix my MBR and fix boot camp. But I am stuck now at the end because honestly I don't know what I am looking at and I don't want to destroy the progress that I made. Could somebody please take a look at my situation and tell me what to do next.

If neither BootCamp nor Parallels work, the problem is probably elsewhere. You can't blame BootCamp.
I suspect that your version of XP is the wrong type.

You apparently copied the syntax from dc:title in the previous line. dc:title is
an 'Lang Alt' kind of property which is, effectively, an array. Your
prism:publicationName is a simple value property. I suspect that the "[1]"
syntax (and possible the "/*" before it) are what's causing problems.
I don't recall seeing docs for this either.

What is Apple using to hide Lion Recovery, how can I duplicate it?

After installing Lion, it includes a recovery partition (Recovery HD). This partition is visible in the startup disk screen in the EFI (booting using option), however, it doesn't show up in finder, nor does it show up in Disk Utility (unless you have the debug menu, and enable show all partitions). Obviously it doesn't automount, that's one thing, but Apple is doing something to keep it from even showing up in disk utility.
Recently I upgraded my HDD in my Macbook Pro, I cloned it and so I lost the Lion Recovery utility. I've since added it back manually, and I'd like to place it in the same condition as it is when installed along side Lion (without having to go through migration on a fresh install, etc).
Does anyone know how to duplicate this state that the Lion Recovery HD is in?
I'm not really looking for alternatives - like reinstalling, etc, etc.. I'm also interested in the mechanism being used here.
Can anyone shed light?

You can set it to Apple_Boot using gpt and this is indeed what hides it from GUI apps like disk utility. Apple_Boot is just a hidden version of Apple_HFS; the recovery partition is just an ordinary journaled HFS+ volume that can be manually mounted with diskutil mount disk0s3 (or whatever slice the recovery partition happens to be).
To change a GUID partition type to Apple_Boot one needs to know the UUID -- which for reference is 426F6F74-0000-11AA-AA11-00306543ECAC -- and remove the partition using gpt then re-add it with the desired type. This won't destroy the data of course, but one needs to make a note of the start and size values of the partition (as shown by gpt show) before the remove and then use them when re-adding. See the manual page for gpt.

Through some accidental research (don't ask…), I found that Lion's version of Disk Utility will also restore the Recovery HD partition when using DU's Restore to image a Lion Partition. I verified this several times. If there is no Recovery HD, it will recreate an existing one from the source HD to the destination, and will be positioned immediately following the Lion partition.
If no Recovery HD exists in the source, but does in the destination, it will leave the destination alone. For instance, if you have an image of a Lion partition, but for some reason, no Recovery partition, you can do a clean install of Lion on the destination - creating a Recovery partition - then restore your Lion image to the destination (replacing the clean install). It will leave the recovery partition alone at the destination.
If no Recovery HD exists in either source or destination, I don't believe DU will create one - this is one scenario I didn't test.

I tunes

I have opened a new desktop on the same computer and can't open itunes. I get an error message on start up saying that this is on a locked disc or I don't have write permission for this folder. Can anyone assist in how to open it, please.

This is the error I get when I compile aspell with gmake, the reason I need aspell is I use Emacs and need a spell checker and aspell is not in the publisher so thus the need to compile the program. I was able to ./configure with curses disabled but I am stuck at the moment.

CE 7.30: Development config for CE Product

Hi,
I have a local CE product using BPM, WD and CAF components.
I want to migrate this product to NWDI.
Therefore I've created a CM Development configuration that I was also able to import to NWDS.
My problem is now, that I don't know how the Software component should look like that I have to assign to this Development configuration.
I've created a SC using the "Wizard for creating your own Software Component" for BPM.
Do I have to create now another SC for CAF and WD as well?
How do I then transfer my local devlopment to NWDI?
Do I just have to move the DCs from my local SC to the the one created in SLD?
Is there any tutorial for that?
I've read in [this thread|Missing Supported DC Types in SC; that I have to use the Import service for that development configuration to import all missing SCAs. Is that true?

The above listed error does not appear when I import a development configuration into NWDS without a SC assigned to it.
If I afterwards add it and I update, then I also see the SCs in NWDS.
But when I try to move my DCs of the local development, I get the following error message:

Why only gets one node when select many nodes of tree in DWCS4 on Mac OS

I use tag <mm:treecontrol> to create tree in DWCS4 on Mac OS.
When I select many nodes in tree, but I only get one node by method: selectedNodes.

I finally got to look at my sister's computer. The HDD "Repair Disk" found missing threads, missing directory records, etc. and ended with:
Error: Disk Utility can't repair this disk. Back up as many of your files as possible, reformat the disk, and restore your backed-
up files.
Then, I tried "Verify Disk" and it found invalid volume file count and ended with:
The volume Macintosh HD was found corrupted and needs to be repaired.
Error: This disk needs to be repaired. Click Repair Disk
I guess running Apple Hardware Test is not going to happen. :/
I've ordered online a new 2.5 disk, make a Maverick boot USB, and start from scratch. Do you have any other suggestions?
As for the corrupted old hard drive, do you have any suggestions of how to get out the data somehow?

Starglow presets

Does anyone know is there meant to be presets with trapcode starglow? From everything Ive read online the answer is yes but I dont appear to have them. Ive tried refreshing effects and presets and I have animation presets showing in the effect control panel but nothing. I had a look inside the AE CS6 preset folder and no starglow presets there. Anyone can advise please?
I know this is a red giant thing but the only option you have with them is to makr a ticket then wait for a bout 3 days. I need them now so Im checking if anyone here might know what to do. Cheers.

There was a thread a little while ago that talked about missing animation presets in the effects panel. A search in the Ask A question field on this forum's landing page brings up this thread: "Missing Animation Presets in the Drop Down List. Read that and you should have the information that you need. Sorry, It's not an easy fix at this time.

Temse files not deleted

Hi all,
After housekeeping of job logs via report RSBTCDEL2, the job logs are deleted in SAP but temse files in unix are not deleted. Temse consistency check does not indicate any problem, what could be the cause?
