Three days trying to verify my credit card

Hi there. I've been trying to verify my Saudi Arabian credit card, and haven't managed so far.
I've never had trouble using my credit card anywhere else. I contacted the "24 hour response" support, and they just told me to check my information. Other people here had no trouble verifying their credit cards. A couple of possibilities is that there's a problem with my account, or the Saudi Arabian App Store.
I checked my billing information many many times. The only thing I could think of was that my credit card has no 'phone' information registered with it, so I just provided my mobile phone number. Is that enough to cause a problem?
What bugs me so much is that iTunes provides me with NO details on why my credit card was declined. Can you at least tell me if my billing information is correct?

The Discussion Group contributors are users like yourself. We are not Apple employees and could not answer if your billing info is correct. You will need to contact iTS web based Customer Service to see if there are any problems.

"When you update your billing information (in this case when you filed your credit card), the iTunes Store will place an authorization hold on your credit card to verify your account information. You might see this authorization request on your online statement.
Don't worry, this is not an actual charge, it is simply a test to confirm that your credit card account is active and has credit available to accommodate transactions."

Verify cancelled credit card.

I have a bit of a problem.
I need to verify my credit card details by typing in the security code in the iTunes store. However recently that card was cancelled. This means that whenever I try and verify the payment information iTunes believes it is wrong, even although I know I am not.
It wont even let me purchase things when I use a gift card.
Please help, thanks in advance.

Yes they do, and so many want to do so with an iPhone 4 that servers are extremely overloaded - preventing Apple from completing an order for the iPhone 4 and accepting money from all those trying to spend their hard earned money on an iPhone 4, which equates to increased revenue and profit for Apple - a problem the Droid or any other cell phone would love to have - just once, but that never happens - not because their servers for accepting orders at one time are more robust. There are too many people wanting to spend their hard earned money at the same time on a product that isn't available yet - at the earliest will be in their hands on 6/24.
Apple and AT&T will be accepting pre-orders for a few days - online or this can be done at an Apple or AT&T store as well.

I tried to contact support but they do not recognise my Thai phone number.
the Thai support site is all in Thai (and I neither read or write it).
All I want is a single email address that works - it must be quite a simple process.
I don't want to create another account with another credit card - life will just get seriously complicated then.
BTW my apple I'd is accepted for downloading free apps!!!

First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

Trying to update my credit card for Creative Cloud account but chat support is always repeating the same thing?

I'm just trying to update my credit card info for my Creative Cloud account, it's been 6 times I've contacted chat support.
Every time they repeat the same questions & answers over & over.
"What's the name on the card?"
-I give it to them.
"It will take 4 to 5 hours to update."
-I wait a day, same problem, then contact them again, same question & same answer. They don't give me a reason or any indication why my card didn't get charged.
I re-phrase my questions, always same answer:
"Your payment details are updated, your account will be activated in 4-5 hours."
Are they robots?
Is there actually somebody on the end of the chat, is it possible to talk to a supervisor or someone that could help me give you money so my account doesn't expire?

Well, today my tools are going to be deactivated because my account is expiring.
Still no solution or feedback on the status of the issue relating to the fact that my valid credit card is stuck in a processing limbo in their payment system.
The biggest lesson learned is that subscription software & cloud based services are too risky for a professional production pipeline.
Imagine if I had employees and a huge deadline this week, I would have to explain to my clients that the reason I can't deliver is because Adobe can't process my credit card for whatever reason, and they deactivated my tools.
Now, I probably won't be able to work today but at least this situation as forced me to re-evaluate how I'm going to build my new workflows and those of my clients.
I was actually planning to convert my video production pipeline to Adobe Premiere but now, it's guaranteed I'm staying with Final Cut.
Same thing for my photo retouching & motion workflows, I'm stripping out every Adobe Cloud tool from it.

Sometimes the issue says security code but it is really a problem with the billing address not being verified.

This is rediculous. Nobody on these forums are any help. There are tons of people who are having this problem and Apple is doing nothing. Personally my card just up and stopped working the other day. It works every where else but iTunes. I think this is what Anita is trying to say.

By 'redeemed points' I assume that you mean that you've redeemed an iTunes gift card onto your account (?). If you do then are you trying to buy songs for yourself or are you trying to gift them - you can only gift items from a credit card, an account's balance can't be used for gifting. If you are buying for yourseflt and you are being asked to enter/verify a credit card number then are you currently in the country where your iTunes account is based ?
