Threshold configuration in TDS - SAP B1 8.8 (Indian Localization)

Dear Experts
I would like to have the solutions on TDS for the following requirements from one of our client
1) Threshold - Single payment exceeding Rs.30,000/Aggregate during the Year exceeding Rs.75000
2) And also i would like to know whether Linking G/L's for Surcharge is mandatory, since there is no surcharge applicable.

Thanks for your response. But in WH Tax configuration 'Thresold' limit can be set for a amount. But the requirement is :
When single payment exceeds 30000/= or aggregate during the year exceeding 75000/-
Any solution for this??

Take an example of computer where we have different model of computer lets say
xyz 7000 black
xyz 7000 blue
xyz 7000 white (three variants of xyz 7000 series laptop)
customer can build his laptop from the list of components by having picking different options of hardware such as processor, ram, cds hard drive etc.
Once customer selected the desired components and production order will get generated and the delivery happen to the customer..
the above scenario we want to do it thru article master..(mm41) not thru standard material master.

Configuration Email in SAP R/3 4.6 C SR2

I have some doubts in a particulary issue...
I try to configure the sending mail from SAP, but in note 455140 which is the reference note for configuration SMTP with SAP, it refers that process is for SAP Basis component above 6 and following... and after i try solve the problem with many search i do not had sucess ...so my question is:
How i configure this feature for my R/3 release which is 4.6 C of SAP Basis component... ??

For 6.10 and below you can't use the SMTP interface because it doesn't exist. There was a technology called the Internet Mail Gateway that was used prior to 6.10. Here is a blog that I wrote on the subject:

List of systems that can / cannot be configured to accept SAP SSO

Hi All,
this may sound like a strange request, but I'm in search of a list that shows examples of common systems that cannot(!) be configured to use SAP SSO tickets.
The reason is that we are evaluating various SSO infrastructures for a client. IBM WebSeal is already in use there but connecting new systems is expensive. We are trying to avoid problems that may arise in the future should we decide for SAP-SSO only.

Hi Jens,
as far as I know there is no such list. However, I will share a thought or two on the topic. Basically, he SAP Logon Ticket is a HTTP cookie. The backend system has to able to receive and understand the ticket issued by the portal. By default most SAP systems are able to receive and accept SAP Logon Tickets. No suprise here. Most non-SAP systems do not process the SAP Logon Ticket by default. But there are ways to "upgrade" non-SAP systems to receive and accept the SAP Logon Ticket (see SAP Library section <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/12/9f244183bb8639e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm">Single Sign-On to Non-SAP Systems and Applications</a>. In most cases you need to modify the native authentication process. You surely won't be able to do this for every single application.
Also keep in mind that the SAP Logon Ticket requires that the user ids of the issuing system are the same as in the receiving system. Or at least the user must have the same user id in all receiving systems.

Do you wish that at all customer site all concern involved in implemtation do the same work ?
I believe ERP is meant for single entry system, and it should be true for implementation also, why to invest man hours for the same task ?
I expect it standard reports should be released by SAP, so that speed of implementation improve, we have more nos. of satisfied customers.
customised reports is all together different and it is understood that it is needed to be developed after study the exact requirement.

Business Partner Duplicate Check - Threshold Configuration

Hi,
I had setup the duplicate check for Business Partner in CRM system.
In SPRO -> SAP NetWeaver -> Application Server -> Basis Services- > Address Management -> Duplicate Check -> Activate Duplicate Check and Determine Limit for BAPIs, I understand the "Threshold BAPIs" is the percentage that determine which duplicate business partner similarity to be display in the Dialog Box.
E.g: If I set 80 in this box, then only business partner with similarity greater than or equal to 80% will display in the dialog box.
But, in SPRO -> SAP NetWeaver -> Application Server -> Basis Services- > Address Management -> Duplicate Check -> Set Limit for Duplicate List in SAP Dialog Boxes, I don't understand the value in "Threshold SAP Dialog Box" is configure for. The value that I had setup in here make no difference for me.
Does anyone understand how this threshold works in duplicate check? If yes, kindly please provide me an example for better understanding.

Configurations done at SAP gui level to print in duplex mode

Hi Gurus,
We had a requirement to convert a printer to duplex mode, we changed all the settings at SAP level( kept duplex mode in printing mode and changed device type to SWAN (as post and pre2 device types are not available) ). But still we are not able to get the desired duplex mode.
Is there are any further settings or something done in server?
Is there any settings done at SAP gui to get the print as duplex from a report?
