Throw out audigy ca
I'm planning to upgrade to Vista x64 business this week. I have an Audigy 2 card in my machine and it's been working great under XP but with all these driver problems I'm reading about, do you think I should just use my on-board sound and sell my audigy 2 card? I don't want to face BSOD's and have an unstable system. Will I lose out on the sound quality I had before or does Vista make the Audigy 2 card obsolete anyway? (because of the software encoding)

What I can tell you is that I personally have not witnessed any BSOD's or crashing due to the WORTHLESS drivers that are out as of now. But I only get 2.. If you have sounds coming out of a business PC that dont need 5. you'll be fine.
EXAMPLE: "bing!" or "windowstartupsound!" = I think you'll be fine.
EXAMPLE: "needing to hear exactly where that bad guy is behind you so he doesnt shoot you in the head!" or "not knowing which direction that explosion behind me is coming from?!" = your screwed.

In PS module transaction CJ40 after detail planning back button throws out
In CJ40 primary cost planning we come back to annual view by clicking back button now if i press back button system throws out from transaction CJ40 . rather to come back to element overview screen. Anybody can give me solution for this as the user suffer most during the cost planning of project having more than 100 WBS. if by mistake he click button in middle of his work . all his work lost and he has to do it again it should ask for saving or not . please give me solution

Are you uploading the data manually through transaction code?
It is better if you create a program to manage planning data and upload the data at one go. You will save a lot of time.
You can use FM 'KBPP_EXTERN_UPDATE_CO' for CJ40.
You can also go for BDC recording but if there is a FM or a BAPI available for it then better is to use FM/BAPI.

XSOMParser throwing out of memory error

Currently we are using XSOM parser with DomAnnotationParserFactory to parse XSD file. For small files it is working fine. However is was throwing out of memory error while parsing 9MB file. We could understood reason behind this. Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Importing CR content throws out of memory

While we are installing JDI server, there is step: import the SAP master Component Information.
the step requires us to import the CR content. But it throws out out of memory error.

We used to face this error. The reason was that the heap size was not set correctly. Please refer to note 889038 for more info.
Also please do adhere to the hardware requirements for WAS and NWDI as specified in note 737368.

I did a working migration of my Lion Server stating all services has been migrated successfully!
All my used services are running fine (dns, mail, iCal, dhcp, web, VPN, adressbook, profilemanger, sharing, opendirectory) but using server.app causes an error while server.app seems to load the alerts section without success throwing out some message windows and those messages in my log console
servermgrd[36677] [36677] error in getAndLockContext: flock(servermgr_info) FATAL time out
servermgrd[24195] [24195] process will force-quit to avoid deadlock
com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.servermgrd[24195]) Exited with exit code: 1
Servermgrd process goes up to 100% and you have to quit server.app to calm it down.
Anyone got a similar error or knows any workaround to abandon this error?

EldrikRB jp's solution (move the /var/log/eventmonitor folder) solved my problem completely.
Not only did Server.app suddenly become response again, the spinner trying to access alerts stopped spinning.
Best of all, the servermgrd daemon stopped crashing every two minutes! There were messages in system.log that read:
error in getAndLockContext: flock(servermgr_info) FATAL time out
server servermgrd[38070]: [38070] process will force-quit to avoid deadlock
Those are now gone. Server is happy again. -
Transitions are throwing out my timings....
Ok...I am a newbie to Mac but am having some crazy problems with iMovie and timing of stills, titles and transitions. Each time I add a transition it throws out all my times for my titles and my stills. For example I want all my titles to be 3s long and all my stills to be 4s long...however they change as soon as I add transitions...is this just a part of iMovie or is there a way to control this! A transition will "borow" frames from the preceding clip and the next clip. Some transitions, like Fade through Black, will keep the length of your movie the same. Other more complex transitions may make your movie slightly longer.
For example, (Note: it is helpful to convert from seconds to frames)
Before:
(still 1 = 90 frames) (still 2 = 90 frames) =====> Overall length = 180 frames
After applying Fade to Black transition at 1/2 second (= 15 frames)
(Still 1 = 82 frames) (Transition = 16 frames) (Still 2 - 82 frames) ====> Overall length = 180 frames
If you care more about the 3 second length of your stills than the run time of your movie, try setting the parameter in File/Project Properties/Timing to set stills to be 3 seconds and apply to all still in project. This should over-ride the changes made by the transitions.
Note that if you were doing video, it would be very important for the overall length to remain the same. For one thing, if it kept three seconds of video, then added extra frames to do the transition, your transitions would consist of "out-takes" - things you had edited out. -

i have some texts that contain all kinds of signs. from punctuation marks, over pipes and / or \ to �. just everything. i'd like to throw out everything thats not a char, int or space. is i use "replaceall" for that, i have to put all sings to replace in the fuction and in don't know what else will be in other texts.
so i'd like to take a look at every character and if it's not a letter, int or space, throw it out. is there a way to do that? maybe with regular expressions or so? how would i do that/how would such a regex and the necessary function look?

Warning message in a report throwing out completely
Hi All,
I have areport in which a warning message is getting generated inside standard fm .
Its coming inside a FM which inturn is turn call some other FM and so on ,so its not throwing any exception to catch it.
When the warning message is coming the report is completely throwing us out,its not continuing if you press enter after warning.
The FM which I am calling in the start of selection event of my program is RMXM951_RECIPE_TRANSFORM_START.
This FM inturn is calling FM MRTRS965_BOM_GENERATION in this we after some points its calling the PERFORM create_bom.
The warning message is coming inside this perform.
The report is actaully written to convert multiple general receipes to master recepies at a time.
We have standard SAP transaction to acheive this but it does one at a time and not multiple.However the stadard program being module pool the transaction is continuing after the warning message once we press the enter key.
So kinldy let me know how to proceed on this.

debugg your program and find out the location where this warning message is coming
and change the code for your warning message.
Like what i did in my one of the program for the same reason.
it was an error message on some validation and it was also throwing me out of the program.
I write:
message 'Invalid Entry' type 'S' display like 'E'.
leave to list processing.
this code displayed my success message like an error message and keep me on the same screen so that I canenter the correct values.
So I think you need to do some thing like that.

Repeat until it shows no errors fixed.
(Space between fsck AND -fy important).
Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck...
