Thumbnail previews do not appear in my library.

I am able to import my images into my LR app. But images will not appear in thumbnail in library. I have to click on image I want to see during development to see my image. The preview progress bar freezes after image import.

What operating system are you using, Windows version or Mac OS X version? How old is your computer? Could be the progress bar isn't freezing and it is just taking a long time to build the previews.

I started using icloud a few months ago- I now have music on my iphone purchased over a year ago which does not appear on my library on the computer- how can I get it off my iphone?

I started using icloud a few months ago- I now find I have music on my iphone that my daughter purchased last year- I can't get it off as it does not appear on my Library on my pc. Any ideas- other than banning daughter from my account!

Add all the songs you want to burn the playlist onto the disk.

Pictures not appearing in iphoto library

I'm using version 2.0.1 of iphoto. Some of the pictures that are in my picture folder will not appear in the photo library. I have "rebuilt" iphoto, but some of the more recent pictures do not appear in the library. Any ideas on what else I could do to get all my photos to appear in the library.

That's not surprising since iPhoto 2 wouldn't have any way to know anything about photos that haven't been imported into iPhoto. Your Pictures folder isn't the same as your iPhoto Library folder.

- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

Why do new items not appear in my library?

I have noticed that new song, movies, etc. do not appear in my library under iTunes 10.7 I can see them in the Recently Added playlist, but not in my library. I just bought The Avengers. The digital copy downloaded and installed to my iTunes and I synced it to my iPad, but it is not in the library under Movies. Likewise the free MP3 Avengers Assemble album is not there. Apps I buy do show up in the list and do update.

This happens when you apply a motion tween to a shape that
wasn't converted to a symbol *first*. For
reasons of organizing and managing a flash doc - always
convert shapes/images to a symbol forst -
then apply motion tweens.
If you delete these "tween" symbols in the library - the
animation on stage will be lost -
animations (specifically symbols) reference the symbols in
the library.
Search help docs for "symbols" to learn how Flash works in
this regard.

Film does not appear in Itunes Library

Itunes crashed during playback of a movie and now after a restarting both Itunes and my computer separately the film does not appear in my library. I (probably me being silly) cannot seem to find a method of re-downloading the product even though the item appears in my account history as being purchased. I would very much like to be able to find this item in my library again.

Have you searched your computer to see if the film is still on your computer, just not in iTunes - by default on Windows 7 your iTunes library is stored under :
\Users\username\My Music\iTunes
If it is then you can add it via File > Add To Library.
If not then whether you can redownload a film depends upon what country that you are in (they can't be redownloaded in all), and if the film is still in the store (rights-holders occasionally remove their items from the store) - and whether you've changed countries since buying it. If you can redownload it then it will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes - if other films show there but not that one (and it's still in the store) then check to see if it's hidden : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.
If you can't redownload it then do you have a copy of it on a backup of your library/downloads that you can copy it back onto your computer from ?

Adobe thumbnail preview does not work in adobe acrobat 8.0

I have user login using his profile and suddenly his not able to view thumbnail preview of PDF file using navigation panel but the thumbnail preview
work in administrator profile.
Si, I guess some settings blocking in user profile to view thumbnail preview.
I have checked the settings that I know but it still does not work.

You should be able to copy it over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases.
Audiobooks are a one-time only download from the store, so you may want to take a backup copy of it when you've copied it over to your computer

Apps downloaded do not appear in the library

I just bought my 4th gen iPod touch yesterday. I used iTunes' store and chose a bunch of apps, and they would download in itunes. Now most of them do not appear in the "apps" section of the library, so I cannot sync them to my ipod. some of them are free some are paid. what should I do? I've looked at the support forums, google, etc and nothing. I've restarted itunes, the ipod, auth/deauth the account... nothing changes.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

Photos from recent event not appearing in photo library

I have recently uploaded photos from a recent trip. I have named the event and it is listed and accessible through 'events'. The event is also listed under the 'recent' menu. However, the photos are not appearing in my 'photos' library!
I want to sort the photos into my own order manually, but when I access the photo through the events menu, the option to sort photos manually is blanked out.

Are you referring to the Photos mode in iPhoto? That mode cannot be sorted manually. Send a feature request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.
A workaround is to create a regular album and add the entire library to it. Then you will be able to manually sort the photos. New photos added to the library and the album will initially be located at the bottom of the album's window.
Albums give you the most control over displaying of the photos.

Purchased songs not appearing in itunes library

Many of my past purchased songs were not appearing in my itunes library. After trying many different methods (over 2 hours of investigation) I finally discovered that I need to check the box in the PREFERENCES that says "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases".

EDIT --> PREFERENCES --> STORE --> "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases".
Then... all my songs appeared!
It's not clear to me when a purchase is "in the cloud" and when it's not ? I'm not sure how that works... but this solved my problem. Maybe it will solve it for you too!

Perhaps the files have been added to your library, but iTunes wasn't displaying them in the Music list for some strange reason. Apparently the most effective voodoo is to obtain the current "Free Single of the Week". It may be that any new purchase causes ITunes to reindex itself properly but this one seems to work, and is free.
Alternatively you could try closing iTunes, deleting the hidden file sentinel from within the main iTunes folder, and restarting. This should cause iTunes to run an integrity check on the database which will likely resolve any issues.
Turning on that option would let an empty library show links to your previous purchases for streaming or download purposes. It may also have triggered a reindexing of the library to compare local content with iTunes in the Cloud.

Podcast pdf show notes appearing in Music library

I subscribe to a podcast which posts both the mp3 audio file as well as pdf show notes. iTunes is confusing these pdf files as digital album booklets, and the pdfs are appearing in the music library, as well as in the podcasts library. The podcast mp3 audio files are ok, they do not appear in the music library, but stay in the podcasts library.
I have noticed this behavious since iTunes 8. I am currently running iTunes 9.
Anyone has any advise on how to correct this?

I had a bunch of pdf files and other iTunesU files showing up in my Music list. The only way I could get this cleared up was to delete them and download again - the "KIND" category for some of these is new to iTunes and so with no classification, they will show up.
You might be able to edit the info on these and add or change KIND values so they move to the right view.
