Thumbnail turn blue after saved in PS

Hi all,
When I saved my CR2 filem to jpeg "within" Camera Raw, it will looks normal in Bridge. But it will turn blue if I open by Camera Raw then saved by Photoshop.
I have been using CS6 for a while and was perfectly normal.
If I shot in jpeg, the thumbnail will turn blue in preview. The color balance was daylight.
The sample I attached here shows the one turn blue at the left, and the normal one on the right. Do you know why? Thanks a lot.

Most likely your default color settings in ACR are incorrect.

pls help me how to reboot my macbook air,.. because starting it up was not successful. the screen just turns blue after the apple logo appeared.

i know loads of people who have had this problem including me.  The Java script update apparently had some virus that has overloaded the start up disk.   I took to apple who said i have to have the machine rebuilt but first i have to go to a data recovery company to get back everything that was on it.  Data recovery company have quoted me nearly £1000.

  • Why does my iphoto slideshow turn blue after exporting?

why does my iphoto slideshow turn blue after exporting?

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
    - History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
    - Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

  • Tv screen turned blue after speaker layed against right lower screen

after a speaker layed on the screen,in the right lower area of the screen.  the area
of the screen turned blue and is now covering almost half of the screen.  the rest of
    the screen is ok.
    thanks,  ljd

The other possibility is that he laid a physical speaker against the face of an LCD or plasma screen, damaging the unit.
LCDs/plasmas are much more sensitive to frontal pressure than CRTs.
To the original poster:  What kind of TV is this?  Where was this speaker laying against the TV?  Did someone accidentally lean a speaker against the face of an LCD/plasma so the panel was bearing weight, or did someone place a speaker near the side of a CRT TV (whether a normal CRT TV or a CRT projection unit)?
If it's an LCD or plasma, the panel is likely permanently damaged.  Time for a new TV.  Don't lean stuff against the front face of such units in the future.
If it's a CRT, it just needs to be degaussed most likely.

  • Background tile turns grainy after saving

I'm trying to make a background tile with a texture in it.
I'm probably missing a step somewhere but here is what I'm doing:
Open up a new documement 200 pixels square
Select the square with vector selection tool (this may be the
wrong step but I can't figure out how else to turn this into a
vector image so I can use the textures in the properties panel
--otherwise that panel is not available)
    make sure it's 200x200
fill with desired color with paint bucket. (I used #cc9966
go to properties panel and choose "smoky" for a texture (i
    want a sandy gravel tile)
Lighten it up by clicking on Filters/adjust color/hue
saturation (I set Hue at +9)
This looks just like what I want,
However after saving the image as a .gif it turns very
    grainy.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

  • Have a problem with my screen turning blue after exiting Safari or Firefox, what is going on?

Have been having an intermittent problem with my MacBook Pro running 10.6.8.
When either running Safari or Firefox the desktop will turn blue and i have to hard reboot in order to use my Mac again.
    Please help.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
    Step 1
Enter "WindowServer" (without the quotes) in the Filter text field. Post the messages from the time of the last crash, if any — the text, please, not a screenshot.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting.
    Step 2
Still in the Console window, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash reports related to the same process. The report name starts with the name of the crashed process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful.

  • My .cr2 files turn a tinted blue after saving as jpegs in ACR CS5

After color correcting a batch of about 100 images, I saved as jpegs and then hit done and a select few of the photos turn a tinted blue. All of the other settings stayed the same.. Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on? Or need me to explain more?

It sounds like user-error where an image off screen is still accidentally selected when tint is being adjusted on another group of images, perhaps with a mixture of fluorescent and daylight images, which have a significant difference in tint so the adjustment of one would be obvious on the other.
Since you posted here, I’d guess you don’t feel it is user-error and the ACR plug-in is doing something to cause the issue.  Because it is across two different versions of Photoshop and occurring with different people, a bug would have to be longstanding, but I don’t recall others reporting it.  Sometimes there are sliders that stick or become activated when an unrelated context is exited from (maybe I’m remembering things in Lightroom not ACR, though) so when the mouse-wheel is moved a slider unexpectedly moves instead of the thumbnail list scrolling, but that sort of thing should be obvious on-screen and not only when the JPGs are written.
Does the WB adjustment ever happen near the end of the process so it is the last thing done and a last-minute error might go unnoticed if ACR had not had a chance to redo all the thumbnails?
Is this a relatively new crew of people or a very light or very heavy load, where lack-of-attention or pressure could be leading to selection errors when and adjustment is applied and extra photos are getting selected by accident?  Is there anything different about the one person who hasn’t seen the problem?
Is there anything with the computer monitors that make it difficult to see what images are selected?
It might be interesting to look at the timestamp of the XMP files (if you use those) to see if the one with a bad WB was updated at a different time compared to the ones surrounding it that all were probably done at the same time.
Are these files all local to each computer or are they being shared from a central location?
With a bug it would be nice to have a documented procedure that will always lead to the problem.  Something intermittent that cannot be reproduced by Adobe isn’t going to get fixed.
If it happens relatively often, then you could record an entire session using a screen recorder (like camtasia or similar), or using a video camera over someone’s shoulder, and then play it back and look for either user-error, or as proof that there was none, but strange things happened.

  • Video Turns Blue After First Frame Plays in iMovie HD 6 !!??? Help

Just bought & Installed iLife'06; iMovie HD 6 turns my existing projects hasey blue immediately after the first frame plays. The clips on the real below appear to be OK but when playing the movie it looks like you're viewing through a bottle of windex! Is this a known bug? Will the DVD burn this way? Please help

Had the same problem but I seemed to have fixed it by doing the following:
Open iMovie preferences, click on playback, change the quality from highest (field blending), to one of the other choices.
Go back and preview your stuff and see if the purple cast is gone.

  • Thumbnail images corrupt after saving for web

    I am working with CS2.
Whenever I choose "Save For Web," the thumbnail preview on the desktop doesn't show the full image. Half of it is grey. This only happens when I choose save for web. Sometimes if I single-click the thumbnail, the entire image appears. But most of the time, it stays half grey. I'd appreciate any help on this, since it's been going on for a year now, and re-installing didn't help.

Save For Web generates an icon of the image on both my home Mac and work Mac. I've changed the preferences in PS to "Never Save" Image Previews. That has done nothing. So maybe it is an OS glitch, but I can't find anything to change. And again, this only happens when I choose Save for Web.

  • Display turning blue

I have the mid 2012 macbook pro with retina display. The screen turns blue after a graphic intense games like WOW and starcraft 2. does it mean there is something wrong with my mac? my old macbook pro never have that problem.

Some users report color differences between the two graphics subsystems on the MBP-R (the integrated low-power Intel HD Graphics 4000 and the discrete high-performance NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M). If you have "Automatic gpahics switching" enabled on the Energy Saver panel of System preferences, the system switches between the two at will.
If you disable the switching, it will use the high-performance subsystem all the time. From your description, your high-performance subsystem is set bluer than the low-power subsystem, so you'll get the bluer tone all the time if you disable switching.
All the reports I recall seeing indicate that the NVIDIA subsystems usually tend to be bluer when any difference is apparent. I do not know whether they are all bluer or that people only notice the shift toward blue.

  • My macbook pro screen keeps turning blue?

This just started about ten minutes ago but its happened three times so I'm kind of concerned. My screen background on my Macbook Pro turned blue after I refreshed a Netflix page. None of my open windows shut down but the image I have as my background was gone and the light blue screen took its place. When I went back into my settings to put the picture back up, it showed that it was still set as my desktop screen, even though it clearly was not. I had to click on another image and then click back on the one I wanted to get it to reset. Is there any reason why this is happening? And can I fix it or do I have to take it in to the apple store and see if they can take a look at it?

    A few suggestions:
When troubleshooting, disconnect all devices from your computer.
Restart in Safe Mode:  Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode
Boot up from your install DVD and run "Repair Disk" from the Utility menu.
    Restart
After you reach your desktop, repair permissions and again restart your computer.  Directions are in the OS Help Menu if you need assistance.
You should call Apple tech support before your standard warranty runs out.  Hopefully, you have AppleCare.
Hey, thanks for your suggestions but when I tried the first part which was the run in safe mode it only made parts of it, specifically safari, lag even more to the point where I could not load pages without it lagging. For the second part about the repair disk, is that the same thing as re-booting your mac or is it different thing? Thanks again for your help!

  • IPhone won't turn on after brief blue screen.

My iPhone is currently broken, won't turn on after a blue screen appeared briefly. Won't even connect to my PC or iTunes. Won't even charge with my charger or using a new charger from a family member. Won't hard reboot by holding home top button. Anyone know what my situation is? Checked over the internet and couldn't find any similiar situations. Also this occured after i was browsing Reddit so nothing intense was occuring on my phone at the time.

I'm afraid you'll have to get it looked at by visiting an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider next to your place or by contacting Apple:

  • My iPhone will not turn on after a yet another blue screen of death. Please help!

As mentioned above, my phone will not turn on after a yet another blue screen of death. All of a sudden it turned off, and it wouldn't turn on for quite some time, even after I plugged it in the charger. It wasn't long after the screen turned on, but it only displayed a bright black. I decided to turn it on and off a few times. Nothing worked.
I have also tried to call the phone from another one. It was as if the phone was simply off.
