Thumbnails not matching underlying pictures

When I open an event in iPhoto '08 the thumbnails do not consistently reflect the underlying photo. When I double-click the thumbnail, a different picture come up, the one that matches the ID info.
I have a relatively large file (over 20K pix) stored on a USB drive attached to a Time Capsule so it can be accessed from various Macs, all running OS 10.5.5.
Is there a way to rebuild the thumbnails? I am running the most recent version of iPhoto so the option of waiting for the automatic rebuild with an update isn't in play.

When I option-launch iPhoto,
What you’re missing is the apple key
*hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys* while launching iPhoto.
The Apple key is also called the Command ket, it’s located just left of the Space Bar.
Re other users, just me. I only access the Library from one machine at a time to prevent corruption.
But are you editing or organising over a Wireless connection?

I am rebuilding my thumbnails--a slow process I am learning. We'll see how that does. I believe I have the latest version of both iPhoto and OS. What happens is that the thumbnail does not match the photo. The photo in the thumbnail is in the same series, but not the same. Many of the thumbnails are the same photo from the series. You can't use iMovie to create a video DVD - for that you need iDVD:

To burn a DVD with iDVD from the latest version of iMovie, you have to export the movie using the Export button and select 480p as the size. Open iDVD and start a new project, then drag that exported movie file into the iDVD menu window, avoiding any drop zones you see.

I was organizing photos in iPhoto '11 and noticed some thumbnails do not match their photos. Does anyone know how this could have happened or how to fix it?

Database corruption
Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your thumbnails - this may take a few attempts

I got it resolved. I had to Rebuild Thumbnails. If you need to do this it is easy. Quit IPhoto, Hold down Command and Option. Reopen IPhoto. When screen comes up choose Rebuild Thumbnails, then hit Repair. It will take awhile if you have lots of pictures. But it goes through two different processes and then Iphoto reopens and all is well again!

Thumbnails not as the picture is!

I upgrade from iphoto to photo today.
I have a big issue, 30% of the thumbnails in photo does not correspond to the picture behind !
Am I the only one or this happened also to some of you???

In my case, after deleting thumbnail data file from Photos library, it started working well again.
It makes Photos regenerate thumbnails and looks good to me.
Those thumbnail files are located in " [photos library path] / Thumbnails / Segments / "

Slideshows - Thumbnails not matching slides.

We've built a site using several slideshows. When publishing on our end, we are notified that the client has made changes to the slideshows - we accept the changes and publish. However, now most of the edited slideshows have mismatched thumbnails and slides. We've tried several times to remedy this with no success. Below is an example.

I logged in as the client to edit the site, via in-browser editing.
I changed the thumbnail and slide image to match. Went back to Muse to publish the site, was notified of the changes made to the site, accepted the changes, and published. Checked the page and the thumbnail was correct, but the slide image was not.
What in the world?

Iphoto thumbnails not matching photos

Just back from a trip and uploaded all our photos, and thought they were all out of order when looking at the thumbnails, but when I click on a thumbnail, it’s actually a different photo completely. HELP! Don’t want to lose all our photos, what’s going on? anyone else have this issue? How do I correct?

Do the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
2 - run Option #2, Rebuild Thumbnails. It can take more than one attempt to get the job done.

I just opened a large project and found thumbnails that are completely unrelated to the files they're supposedly representing. I'm re-creating them, and hope they get straightened out, but don't understand why this should happen.
I have pics on internal drive; nothing changed in a year or so. Why this all of a sudden?

Yea that *** - I assume based on the timeframes you just mentioned you are using Aperture 2 - take a look at this:

Sound and picture did not match?

After recording the presentation it was OK and I could show it. But the fourth time I would show the presentation the sound and animation did not match the pictures? t.i. Keynote did not move to next picture (e.g. I was in picture No. 3 and it shoud move to next picture 4 but it doesn't - and the voice to the next picture No. 4 started continued in picture 3)
Why does this happened? Is Keynote not reliable?

If sound files and images are placed on the slide and timed using Inspector > Builds they will maintain the timing.
I have suggested to do that instead of using the recording feature built in to Keynote which has proven to be unreliable with large numbers of slides and longer voice overs.
Switching to using builds will eliminate these errors.

Why do my "Pictures" folders not match?

I deleted a bunch of files from my Pictures folder that resides in my HDD icon, listed at the top of each finder window sidebar. However, the Pictures and Chris folders that reside in the Places listing in that same sidebar still contain the deleted files.
More plainly described:

My iPhoto 9.3.2 (670..63) in Mountain Lion is repeating a grouping of thummnails whose photos when you click do not match. I have called Apple Care and have reinstalled a new iPhoto library and still have the problem. We did al this after the update but not the upgracde to MOuntain Lion. This issue is so annoying since instead of easily looking thorugh the thumbnaisl I have to click on each thumnail to see what is under them. Please help.

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to rebuild the thumbnails. It can take 3 or 4 goes for this to work

You cannot customize the Safari toolbar on the iPad.
What you can do on the iPad is go to Settings>Safari>Always show Bookmarks Bar>On and that will add a bookmarks bar on to the Safari browser.

In videos pictures and content do not match

I have appr 50 videos in my iTunes library. When I use Videos on my iPhone or iPad and chose to go to my Shared library (where I keep all these 50 videos) The videos are all mixed up. The picture showing the video does not match with the name/content. I get this problem also in my Apple TV.

R/3 is raising this message because you are trying to create a PO or PR with a plant that does not match the item reference document.
Reference document can be for example a R/3 contract or a R/3 source list.
It is not possible to change the plant when creating a purchase order with regard to a contract.
Are you using R/3 contract reference in SRM shopping cart ? (maybe coming from catalog item ?)
Did you checked the SOS tab in SRM SC item, to see if the system assigned automatically a SOS (this is the case if only one R/3 SOS is found) ? But in this case, the plant is used as a filter so you could not have SOS from wrong plant.
