Thumbnails of images will not show

When using bridge on some of my computers, thumbnails of images will not show, only a generic .eps icon.  We are trying to view files from an Art Explosions CD library and are using Bridge CS6 V 5.0.0.399

    I made sure the 'Show Icon Preview' box was checked.  This is about all I can do, really, Frank, as i don't know enough about the workings of these machines to start fiddling about.
    Strangely the images show as previews in some folders, yet not in others, even though they come from the same sources (my camera and my phone).

  • Downloaded the most current version and PNG images will not show

    I'm running XP with SP3 and the most current versions of Firefox and IE8. I have the AdBlock add on. PNG images do not appear (on either browser) only blank spaces where a picture should be.

  • Images will not show on website

    When I compile my project in flex it runs perfectly. When I place the four projet files on the web (i.d. swf, html, AC_OETags.js, and playerProductInstall.swf) the images that are loaded into the swf will not appear. If I run the files from my local computer by opening them with a browser all the images appear. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?

    happening for all images.
    I am using mac osx 10.4
    Would like to add
    This is happening on a local host all images show in
    dreamweaver not in any browser

    Did you upload the image?
    Have you washed your socks?
    Brushed your teeth?
    Without seeing your code, that's about all I can guess....

  • My images will not show to full scale, how can I fix this?

    Hi, I'm new to this and for some reason my images are not appearing to full scale on adobe premiere cs6. This is really annoying as I am trying to make a stop motion video but I can't see what I'm doing. Please reply soon, this is an important project. Thanks

    Your sequence settings and clip settings are not matching. To make them match, right click on a clip and choose New Sequence from Clip and a new sequence will be created based on your clip settings.

  • My latest download images will not show in my browser properly

    I am using Elements 5. I have 1100 images in the organiser.
    The only way I can see recent images is in the largest thumbnail view.
    If I reduce the size of the thumbnails, the images appear just as a blank square with the "eggtimer" icon.
    How do I correct this please?

    It seems either you have imported lot of photographs or your machine has low mermory.
    It usually happens when Organizer is working on thumbnail generation for lot many files. If you want to get rid of this, do 'Update Thumbnails' for photographs in group of 5-10 whichever works for you.

  • Tutorial images will not show up

    I'm trying to do the tutorial lessons in shake but I can't seem to get the images to actually show up. This kind of complicates things a bit. Is there something I'm missing here. I've tried reinstalling but that didn't do anything.

    Red file in nodes generally mean it can't find the related media.
    I suggest you either
    1) Create a NEW fileIn node and connect it just like the one you are replacing.
    or
    2) Try to redirect one more time in the node's parameter's window. Dbl click the node in question. Then come down to the parameters (lower right) and find the path... there'll be a folder next to that string of text... either click on the folder and use the filesystem to point to the file or type the path in directly.
    I know you said you did part 2 above... but that should have worked.

  • Background Image will not show on website but does in Dreamwever

    I have the image in my file plus I have uploaded but without success ... I recently have a new ISP and it has not worked correctly since.  I checked the in-line style and it is correct ... the background color will show, what is my problem?

    A page created in Microsoft Word is no more a web page than one created in Microsoft Publisher.  Yours is pretty messy as a result of its passage through Word -
    <html xmlns:v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml"
    xmlns:o="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"
    xmlns:w="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word"
    xmlns:m="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2004/12/omml"
    xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
    <meta name=ProgId content=Word.Document>
    <meta name=Generator content="Microsoft Word 12">
    <meta name=Originator content="Microsoft Word 12">
    and, what's equally bad, there is no doctype.
    Finally, Word's Word Art is not suitable for use on the web at all.
    I'm guessing that this is the image that is missing?
    style={background-image: url(&quot;curly.jpg&quot;)
    Change that to this and see what happens -
    style={background-image: url(curly.jpg)
    Dreamweaver and HTML pages are all about HTML markup.  If you want to use DW you will need to learn about HTML (and CSS).

  • Thumbnail/preview images are not showing in Facebook (Safari/Firefox/Chrome)

    Hello
    I've never had this problem before in a year of having a new MBP. The MBP completely ran out of juice for days to the point of the clock resetting (whether this is an issue I don't know), although the MBP works totally fine and is now on full juice.
    However, I've noticed that when using Facebook (which is important for my work / digital marketing), I can't see any preview thumbnails/images, which is really annoying, as when posting official work stuff I can't see if they are being displayed properly.
    Screenshot of the problem- you will see a white question mark in a blue box where the image/preview thumb should be.
    I've reset safari/firefox/chrome completely and deleted ALL history/cache etc etc and udated to all latest versions. All the usual troubleshooting stuff, but it's still happening!??
    Can anyone help with this???
    Thanks!

    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select “Help” from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box.
    While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
    As Guest, launch the application(s) and test. Same problem(s)?
    After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.

  • Placed images will not show in High Quality

    I have several documents that have raster images placed in them. The images are 300dpi, saved as EPS, CMYK, preview of 8bit Mac, maybe around 25mb. I place them in InDesign, and choose the "rasterize postscript" option. When the image is placed, it looks awfully low quality. If I choose "High Resolution Display" the image becomes a *little* bit clearer, but not FULL quality. Enabling overprint preview also does not do anything. I can only get maybe 2/3 of the actual pixels of the image. I can NOT get the FULL resolution of the image. Yes I have checked my document prefs, application prefs, set them to full res in display.
    I have personally replicated this problem on 2 computers (G5 and Mac Mini) and it was first shown to me a couple weeks ago on a totally different Mac Mini. I can replicate this problem with multiple images on multiple documents, including new documents using the place command. Resaving the file as a PSD seems to allow me to see the full resolution. But I cannot do that for the amount of files I need to process for my company's workflow (2 million images).
    Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a limit to the resolution of the HQ display in InDesign (like 200dpi)?

    Why are you using the EPS format at all?

  • Elements 5 - Organizer will not show thumbnails

    Recently moved Elements 5 to my new laptop - On the laptop the organizer will not show photos in any view other than single picture.  Anything smaller shows the hour glass [also shows on the collections icons].  I deleated the first catalog transfer and have been only using new photos transfered from my D-50.  It will run full screen shows just nothing smaller that a single picture view.  I also uninstalled and reinstalled the Elements software.
    I have unchecked the filer checker.
    Systems is a Vista home premium 64 bit, 4 gig of ram, Lenovo ideapad laptop 5800T processor.  Version 5.0.2
    Any ideas?
    Alan

    I can't be sure this is the problem, but ...
    Is this the first time you have opened PSE5 on this computer? If so, it truly is generating the thumbnails. Your statement about how in single image mode the thumbnail appears is a symptom of this phase of the operation. Just let it run. It will finish, and the problem will be gone.

  • My mac will not show images when on the internet?

    My mac will not show images when on the internet?  I think I have inadvertently changed some settings but nor sure which one.

    I am going to assume you are using Safari here. If so then go to the Apple menu bar and hit Safari-> Preferences.  Under the Apperance tab there is a check box that is called "Display images when the page opens".  Check if that is unticked.

  • Airplay mirror imaging icon will not show up on my macbook pro even though i downloaded mountain lion. How do i get airplay icon to appear on my macbook pro?

    i have a macbook pro (almost positive that its a 2010 version) and i got mountain lion. The BIGGEST AND MAIN REASON i bought mountain lion was so that i can do airplay, allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my Apple TV. my whole computer is updated as far as the displays and newer features but the small airplay icon will not show up on the top of my screen. therefore, not allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my tv... it is connected to the same wifi as my apple tv. idk what to do. could it be because my macbook pro is a 2010? desprately looking for help...please help me with this issue
    thank you

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
    Read > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404 AirPlay Mirroring requires an Early 2011 or newer MacBook Pro, so your MacBook Pro isn't supported.
    To mirror your MacBook Pro's display onto the Apple TV, you can use an application like Beamer or AirParrot even if AirPlay Mirroring isn't compatible

  • My image files will NOT show up when I import them

    I CANNOT see my image files when I import them. This is the case regardless of whether I import them directly from my image files, or from my Flash library. They WILL NOT show up in the stage area, although the panel on the right shows the file! What can I do to correct this? I am using Flash CS4 which I need for my Digital Design classes through the Art Institute of Pittsburgh! I will FAIL this course if I can't get this program to work properly!!

    Here are a few things to check:
    Do you have anything else on Stage that might be covering them up? Is your target layer locked? Is the layer visibility turned off?
    Are you doing this in an existing document, or a brand new document?
