Thumbnails will not come into focus
Hello,
I am using PSE 8 and when I am in the organizer and double click on a photo to make larger it will not come into focus. Is it damaged or can it be fixed?

If you mean you didn't backup or sync your phone, everything on it will be lost when you get a replacement unless the techs are able to do this. Apps can be re-downloaded. -
I was on the phone last night and my phone randomly turned off. It will not come back on even when I have tried to hold the home button and the power button at the same time, while being plugged into the computer? What do I do?
Plug it into power for at least 15 minutes. If it doesn't automatically come on, try a reset... press the home and sleep (on/off) buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

My phone will not come on because it says i need to plug it into itunes, so i did and now it will not restore. I have changed the USB cable, used different USB ports and used a different computer however errors still keep happening. Please help.
You need to tell us exactly what the errors your getting say.

I have attempted to update my iPhone to ios8. My phone has gone into recovery mode. I have tried all of your recommendation and it will not come out of recovery mode. HELP!
Without knowing what you did and exactly what happened (error messages) all I can suggest is:
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try a Reboot press & hold menu button & power button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you will not lose any data. But you may need to do this more than once. I never use PCs for software upgrades or downloads I always use wifi had no problems with iOS 8.1 B sydd

My phone is telling me to restore it as it will not come on and just shows a plug into itunes sign...however there is an error restoring it. HELP?!
You might try:
Placing your device into recovery (DFU) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
* If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.

What troubleshooting have you tried? Try a reset, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should reboot. If it does not, then you need to try and restore via iTunes. Try connecting the phone to the computer and iTunes and see if it is recognized. My Ipod 4th Gen will not mount into Itunes
Please anyone with technical knowledge HELP ME.
The basic problem is that my 4th Generation Ipod will not mount into Itunes.
Let me tell you what I have done so far this includes all the R's, I have also followed the advice of reinstalling itunes and Quicktime I have also tried backwards installing to version 6 (at present I have upgraded to version 7.0.2). The ipod is visible in Windows and I still am able to use it as disk as I have programs I am using off it.
I have tried a fifth gen and also an Ipod mini and both mount onto my Itunes.
I have tried to reinstall the Ipod software, however the previous ipod updates do not work and as the Ipod cannot be mounted I cannot use Itunes to update it as it is not visible.
I have also run the Ipod Diagnostic in Itunes and everything seems fine (I have included the report if anyone can please understand it)and at the very bottom it states that the Ipod is truly Mounted. WELL ITS NOT
I really am getting desperate now as this is the same on both my Desktop and Laptop and I am getting very close to throwing the whole thing out along with all the rest of my computer equipment.

This does get rid of the music but as I had it backed up wasn't a problem. I then plugged the mac Ipod back into a windows pc and reformatted it as a windows ipod which updated the firmware correctly and have'nt had a problem since.

Help: my ipod touch (3rd Gen) will not come on
I earlier tred to start to sync my iPod. But, I didn't complete the start of the process & I don't believed that the Ipod was identified by the iTunes site. Since then, my iPod will not come on. I have tried to charge it up via a mains charge. Neither top or bottom will start.
I know that there is no oproblem with my itunes site, as another iPod has been sync'd later, with no problems.
Any help any one.- Try resetting you iPod if you have not yet already and see if it works or appears in iTunes. If it works you are done if does not work and appears in iTunes then restore the Pod.
- If it doe not appear in iTunes see if the following makes it appear in iTunes. If it does thn restore it.
- Place in recovery mode. See:

G5 will not boot into OSX - stays at a command-line prompt
My G5 will not boot into OS X. I would appreciate and and all advice. Thanks.
What happened:
I had the G5 running one morning, with the Isight camera on, plugged into the front-console firewire port. I was running EvoCam software.
At about 2 hours into running, the cam stopped broadcasting – I got home to check it out three hours later, and the screen was black, and the fan was louder than I had ever, ever heard it on this box.
I did a hard shut-down with the powerbutton on the Cinema Display monitor.
At reboot, I see a grey screen for approx 5 seconds, with a dark grey apple logo, and then the screen goes to black, with a command-line prompt.
It’s been like that ever since.
I ran the Apple Hardware test, from the internal CD drive, and it shows no errors.
I cannot boot from an OSX installer DVD. It won’t recognize it. It goes straight to the black screen and Command line prompt.
I have re-seated the RAM, as well as the Airport Card. The only other card – which I have not re-seated, it the video card.
I am able to use the machine in Target Mode, so I can extract data from the drives, which is great. Oddly enough, I’m able to use the front-console firewire port to connect to my other Mac in Target mode – with no problems. Also – in Target mode, the fan never goes above the usual quiet self.
I would appreciate any advice one can provide. Thanks!

My Step #1 is to always boot into Open Firmware (and do reset-nvram, reset-all, if you can't do that, you are sunk).

CR files will no longer show in bridge and will not load into PS
Hi I had a problem with bridge CS6 dynamic link failing and had tech support finally help with the problem by phone They had me reinstall PSCS6 and Bridge among other things like setting the permissions differenty. It worked ok when I opened it again after those changes and then I closed the apps and opened them again the next day (today) but now the CR files will show no thumbnails nor previews in bridge and will not load into PSCS6.
I get now the following error messages
These are files that are on my system and not from a camera plugged into the computer. They had worked just fine before the reinstall and permisisons changes the tech had me do. They open in the preview app and look fine so I know they are not corrupted files and I have tried different saved versions of the same (or any other CR file) and none of them will now open and Camera raw itself seems no where to be found. My prefences in camera raw have not clanged. Any ideas??? thanks and aloha, UP

Any help would be appreciated. If the post goes inanswered I will call tech support again. aloha UPHI, I managed to fix the trouble by reinsatalling once again and running updates BEFORE opening bridge. It seemed that if I ran the update AFTER opening bridge I would get either an up to date status when checking for updates or I would get an install failure notice on all 4 updates that were trying to install. The updates were for camera raw, bridge and PS. I can't explain why but that helped a little. I also changed permissions on my whole user accnt to include read/write for all users. I can't say if this helped or not. I also had to go into my camera B/U files on a sepate HD and replace some of the CR folders I was using o nthe desktop. Still the CR files would not show a thumb nor a preview till I then went to each individual file inside that folder and purged the cashe for that file so it could repopulate the cashe yet again. This has been the strangest few days in PSCS6 history! Well my personal history. I will report back here if more quirks emerge. I would prefer quarks though....aloha, U

I purchased the Logitech F310 game controller for my 2011 MacBook Pro. How do I get the driver installed for it. The Disk that came with the controller is a mini disk and will not insert into my laptop.
May not make a difference anyway. The Logitech support site does not show drivers for Mac OS for the F310:

I'd contact their support to find out if there is a Mac driver available, and if they can either give you a web link to get it, e-mail you the software, or snail-mail you a standard-size disk with the drivers.
