Thunderbird 31.0 can only be started one time after boot.
After installing TBird 31.0 on Win7x64, the application can only be started 1 time. It does not matter if safe mode is used on the second restart; it always crashes. If TBird is closed or crashes, the OS must be rebooted. All OS patches are installed. Problem appeared with version 31.
When TBird is shut down normally, the process never completely disappears from Task Manager.

Can only open FF one time without rebooting. Have reinstalled. Same problem
Firefox worked fine until 5.0 on this pc. Now, have to reboot or even uninstall/reinstall to get it to open. Then it will only open once.
5.0 works fine on my laptop, just not thid desktop.I am not having the same issue, and I am running 10.5.2 OS and 6.0.2 FCP. I also have FCP 6.0.2 on a computer running 10.4.11 and I have duplicate media on both systems, and bring a file back and forth and don't have to connect the media one at a time. This was a wide spread problem with 6.0.1, and the 6.0.2 update fixed that for most people. Why you are still having that problem is odd. Try trashing your FCP prefs with FCP RESCUE, and also try repairing your permissions with the Disk Utility.

Itunes 8 only good for one time use after each installation!
When I attempt to open itunes I get a pop-up window that says "Please wait while windows configures itunes". This window has a download bar and cancel button in it. Then a second window appears that says "You must restart your system for the configuration changes made to itunes to take effect Click Yes to restart now or No if you plan to manually restart later." Ok, when I click yes my system restarts then when I attempt to click into itunes again after restart I still get the same pop-up windows. I have un-installed and re-installed itunes 3 times. It works fine right after installation. However, when I click out of itunes then try to go back in it the same pop-up windows appear! This happens everytime I re-install! I can only use itunes one time per installation??!! I don't know what to do please help!!
Thanks for this. I had this same problem and was wondering what was going on. My new issue is that itunes 8 just turns off on its own after like 30 seconds - but I wonder if it's because my work computer may not allow iTunes?

You can only delete them one at a time on the iPad. If you have an IMAP email account, go to your email in on the server using a web browser and select as many as you can at a time and delete them that way. That action will be reflected on the iPad. In IMAP - whatever you do on one device syncs across all devices. If you have POP email - start deleting one at a time.

I am trying adobe Photoshop and adobe illustrator because I can't decide which one to buy so I want to try both, after I downloaded Photoshop I can not see the option "free trial" for adobe Illustrator, it is because I can only free try one at the time??

You can download both at the same time.
But you may wish to start off with one and use it full time, then download the other later, so you get the maximum possible time with both.

Have content of iTunes on both Appletvs but can only play on one. Tv menu won't let me choose both locations. How do I correct this? ITunes Home Sharing is on. Multiple Airplay is on from the iTunes menu, too. Thanks, Taking too long to get music!
If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go -
i really don't know what i did wrong. i logged into itunes using my husband's id, then bought some movies. but for some reason, it downloaded them to my library, not his. now i can't put them on the ipod. is there any way to get them out of my library and into his library? i tried home sharing, but it still won't let me sync them to the ipod
Copy the movie from the current library to the correct library.

I have burned pictures to a dvd off of my iMac. When I try to view them on my macbook I can only look at one picture at a time. Is there anyway to view as a slideshow? Thanks!

I have qualitynet either wired internet. I buy a card good for a month at a time, I can only log into one device at any one time. Are there settings I can adjust on my airport express to allow all my devices to connect to wi-fi without having to log out of one devise before using another?
Some Internet providers that limit access to a single device at a time do so by the device's hardware MAC address. If your ISP is one of those, you may be able to substitute the MAC address of your AirPort Express base station for the computer. I would suggest that you contact them to find out if this is allowable.

Can only connect from one direction
I'm having trouble video confrencing... I tried searching the forums, but I'm having trouble thinking of clever search terms.
I can only connect from one direction with one person. They can invite me to a chat and it works fine every time. However when I invite them it always fails. I can invite other people and it works fine though.
This doesn't seem like a typical router problem, because they can invite me and we videochat just fine.
This has been a problem for most versions of iChat that I can remember, but I'm using 3.1.5 currently.Hi

I have done a test and the user TEST can access all schemas, when I only gave explicit permissions to the schema TESTDTA.
Any suggestion/clarification???

Question
I cannot find out where to organize my bookmarks in any of the bookmark dropdowns. I can only do it one by one. Is there a way to do mass organization?
In previous versions you could select organize bookmarks. In this version it is gone. I would imagine that since FF now can sync across multiple devices, the ability to organize from any of those becomes more important. Selecting one bookmark at a time to delete or move is too tedious for people with hundreds or thousands of bookmarks.The way bookmarks are managed has not changed. You now access to the Library window by selecting Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks from the Firefox menu.
