Thunderbolt not holding bluetooth connection

Thunderbolt not holding bluetooth connection after being successfully paired with a 2011 Cadillac w/Hands-Free and Navigation. Other phones (e.g., LG Chocolate, etc.) work fine. Very disappointing. Please send a fix!!!!!

I've heard this complaint on several forums, and people who are "in the know" say that it is a software issue and Google is aware of it, and they plan to fix it when Gingerbread rolls out. To further my rumor spreading, I have also been told that Big Red wants the Thunderbolt to be one of the first one to get Gingerbread. So hopefully help is on the way, your problem with linking the Bluetooth is defiantly not isolated.

Wireless keyboard/keypad will not hold bluetooth connection.

when i log on, i get a message stating that there is on keyboard attached to this computer. But, during my last session, my bluetooth keyboard was working. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes for this condition to clear up, and the keyboard to start working again.
What have I done wrong, and is there a way to keep my wireless keyboard and lmp wireless keypad set up so that it attaches on startup?

Not allowing bluetooth connection to car hands free

Hi
I have a blackberry curve 8520 and a Bury hands free kit.
Normally as soon as the car is switched on the Bury comes on and starts searching for the blackberry and finds it immediately over the bluetooth and connects without any trouble.
Recently it no longer does this. Now I have to stop the Bury auto searching, turn off the blackberry bluetooth and then turn it back on for the bluetooth to connect.
If I allow for the Bury to keep searching you can see in the wireless networks screen that if briefly connects for a second and then disconnects and continues to do this.
I have restored the Bury to factory reset and it is not the Bury device because my Blackberry Pearl connects fine without any problem, it is my other phone that won't connect.
I have deleted it out of devices, played around with encryption settings and tried every setting I can see.
What is going on? why is my curve not allowing a connection to be made? I don't understand what can have happened for it to suddenly not work.

as I believe it a car bluetooth hands free can only be paired to one device . ie if you wish to pair with another device you would have to reset back to default and search again.... so does the cuve work if you reset the bury and pair again but then your other phone does not work with it ... this is logical as if we drove down a motorway we would pick up loadsa phones.... therefor we can only pair to one device

FF will not hold internet connection settings when closed

Since upgrading to FF4 and subsequently to FF5:
Each day, after booting my system and starting FF, I have to go i nto preferences to reset the internet connection to 'no proxy'. FF defaults to a manual proxy config when closed. The network connection setting of 'no proxy' just won't hold when FF closes.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

Can not make Bluetooth connection with HP Probook 4530s.

My HP 4540s does not have a builtin Bluetooth card. I have used an ASUS USB-BT400 Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle to make the laptop BT capable. My phone (AT&T Z222) can see my laptop and my laptop can see my phone. When I attempt to pair the two, I get a list of options. The first is to let the computer generate a passkey/passcode. The generated number is on the screen for such a short time I can not even readit much less type it in to my phone. The second option is??? The third option is to pair with out a passcode/key (I think they are the same !). When I select this option I was able to send several pictures to my computer. When I tried again to send pictures, the phone asked me for my passkey. I thought that I didn't have one so I selected "pair". The phone asked me to put in a valid passCODE?. I tried 0000 which could not be verified.
I have been to the AT&T store three times for 2 hours each. I have been on the phone with AT&T for over an hour, I have been on the phone with ZTE (phone manufacturer) for almost 2 hours, and microsoft for 30 minutes.
Does anyone know what to do? None of these people did.

E66 & Bluetooth connection with Jawbone BT

As a long term user of bluetooth (first experience was with an Ericsson phone in 2001!), I am after some assistance.
E66 Nokia - recently updated with latest firmware - 300.21.012
Jawbone Prime BT headset - new
The E66 pairs with the Jawbone without a problem BUT the E66 will not hold the connection for more than 20 - 30 seconds before disconnecting. It then re-connects briefly before disconnecting again. After a 3rd attempt, it then fails to re-connect.
I have paired the Jawbone to my laptop via bluetooth and it remains connected and useable..
I changed my BT headset from a Jabra 250v as I had the same problems but assumed that the problem was the jabra and not the Nokia...
Therefore, I am assuming that the problem lies with the NOKIA and it's bluetooth.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did you set your paired device as authorized?
Connectivity>Bluetooth>Paired devices>"your device name">options>set as authorized.

Mine is not a question but I received the solution to the iphone 4s not discovering bluetooth, you hold the top button and the home button until the apple logo comes up and then let it reboot, put your bluetooth in pairing mode, and then turn on bluetooth

He told me to hold the top button and the home button together and do not let go until the apple logo came up, this would do a hard reset. Then when it reboots, you turn on your bluetooth in paring mode, and then turn on the bluetooth on your iphone 4s and it will find your bluetooth device. Simple, yet it works!!! Hope this helps those of you having the same problem I was having trying to connect your bluetooth.

Are yo trying to pair via an app that supports BT pairing? If you are I would try:
- Resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
-Resetting network settings on the iPod: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Try going to System Preferences/Bluetooth and then turn it off, wait a few seconds, then turn it on.

I am having issues with my iphone6 bluetooth connection in my car. When going to settings under bluetooth, it is unable to find any devices. I did not have this issue until I downloaded IOS 8.0.2. Do you know if there has been any resolution yet?

iPhone only does limited forms of bluetooth connections, such as with speakers.
You cannot transfer files from an iPhone to a Nokia phone using bluetooth.
What type of Nokia device are trying to connect with? Is the Nokia in pairing mode?

mono 8 bit 8k is 64kbps, yes. 8 bits times 8,000 = 64,000 = 64k bits/sec.
And yes I think that's a typo - there's no such thing as 'Mone' that I've ever heard of...
But you might want to check to find out if this is a mu-law non-linear format, possibly - there are several ways that 8 bit 8k wav files can be encoded, and typically phone systems don't use linear ones. If you have a log-in to Zultys' user-base system they have an FAQ there, I believe - the answer might be in that, and it won't cost $500.
