Ticker Issue

Hi Gurus,
I'm new on OBIEE 11G and try to access a dashboard to look for a ticker. In other computer it displayed normally. I have install shockwave flash object 10.2.1531 and access other chart normally. Is anyone know what other add on that needed?

First, you need to get straight the difference between Java and JavaScript. They're related only by having similar names. If you're doing "View Source" in a web browser, what you're seeing is JavaScript, NOT Java. If this is where your question lies, you need to find a JavaScript forum.

New to Java and stuck on alert ticker issue

Hi, I'm a newbee so go easy on me. Here's the issue. The company I am interning for monitors its networks using a console called WhatsUp Gold. The program creates alerts to inform of any issues on the network or when thresholds are close to being reached. This is done using some form of Java which I can view by opening the source files. They have asked me to try and create a scrolling ticker that automatically updates in real time along with the WhatsUp program. I have downloaded INSCRO (a ticker creator) but when I try to direct the feed to the URL on WhatsUp, the ticker scrolls the Java script and not the text that I need it to. Any ideas on how to get it to pull the text vs the source file?

1. It depends on the project you are working either Developement, Support or Upgrade. If you are working in a developement you will mostly receive Technical Specs from the on-site co-ordinator or from your team lead. Technical spec typically contains the actual requirement (Report, Function module or Transaction..etc) details like tables used ..screen flow..logic to be used to fetch the data. If you are woking in a Support environment ..the process is a bit different. You will be communicating with on-site thru client's mail box like Lotus Notes..You can chat with them using Sametime..The main task in the support is you will be receiving the Tickes (Issues) in a tool like Vantive, Synergy or Remidy..etc. Those tickets have some priority. Based on that you have to resolve the issues. When coming to Upgrade , you have to change the programs, tables, structure or function modules..etc in sync with the new version.
2) Technical Specification will be created based on the Function / Business Specifications. Functional specs contains functionality of the requirement and flow of the data ..etc. You have to convert those into Technical terms and prepare the technial specs. Like if they give Vendor and Customer details in Functional spec you have to convert those into LIFNR, KUNNR..etc..
3) Conversion routines in Domain mainly used to convert the format of the data stored in the underlying tables. For some domains the format of the data visible is different from the format stored in the table. Conversion Exits are used to convert the format of the data at the domain level. You can convert the data input and output for a domain.

KE4J -COPA error for costing key2

Hi,
We use common material type 'ZMAT' for normal Finished goods and configurable Finished material.
i created 2 costing keys and assigned respective costing variants in COPA as under
001 - zpc1 - Standard costing
002 - zpc2 - sales order costing - configurable material
Further i assigned in KE4J as under
10 F ZMAT 002 001
cost component split works fine for configurable material but for normal FG it encounters error message 'KE292'
however if set KE4J as
10 D ZMAT 001 002
then it works fine for normal material that is cost component split is derived properly and also no error occurs for configurable material but there is no cost component split for this material.
Is that something i am missing here. Also why system get hard stop in 1st case and doesn't look for costing key 2.

It seems earlier the check box was ticked for "Issue error msg if no cost estimate found"... It was removed later on.. Is that so?
If you have created a SO / Billing doc when the tick was off, it cant give you the error message
I believe right sequence is 002 followed by 001...
In 002 - Tick the exclusive access.. DO NOT tick "Issue error message if not cost estimate found"
In 001 - Tick the :Issue error message if not cost estimate found
This should work in my opinion
Another option., You can also use KE4H and assign costing keys to Individual Material, if the no of mats are not much.... i.e. Say, For Configurable Material, you can assign costing keys to individual Products and for the rest of the materials use KE4J
Last option is to change the Mat Type of the configurable materials... For this, both the material types should be assigned to same valuation class so that you will be allowed to change in the Live System... In future, create all config materials under new material type

SingleSignOn without SAP Portals?

Hi,
we want to use SingleSignOn on the Mobile Client, so I looked into all the documentation about the SSO and how you have to configure the client and all that.
But the documentation is all for the SSO between the SAP Portal and the MI client, but I would like to use the Windows authentication and not a SAP Portal with an online connection. Unhappily we have a multiple user szenario on the client, so that depending of the windows user a different mobile user has to be logged on.
Has anyone done something similar? Is it possible to do this via a specific configuration? Can I replace the authentication module and implement something by my own?

Hi Kai
For SSO to work in MI, you can rely on any ticket issuing system that can issue an SAP Logon Ticket. But what is tested, documented and released is, the SAP Enterprise Portal is the ticke issuing system for MI and not any other system. Windows authentication can never be used for SSO on MI.
Can I replace the authentication module and implement something by my own? I am afraid, you cannot do this.

HT1351 Music imported from CDs will not synch to my iphone or ipad - even though it's ticked and set up correctly. Looking at other posts this seems ot have been an issue for ages. The latest itunes software update hasn't fixed it

This has now been ongoing for over a month - the lastest software release hasn't fixed it.
I can import music from CDs - the tracks are ticked for synching and all the associated rigmarole is correct.
Problem is when I synch, apps go across but imported music doesn't. It just gets to step 5 - waiting for changes to be applied - and then does nothing until it eventually finishes synching but no music has come across.
Same issue on my iphone.
I have looked at some solutions on forums but they seem complicated and I don't understand why apple haven't yet fixed this (or why you can't contact them). Seems a basic fundamental service that they are not supplying.
Having spoken to people in the family, its seems I'm not laone with this problem (unless you have a mac......)

I had this same problem with my new MBP 15", but only with the USB port on the left side. The USB port on the right side worked fine. Perhaps the ports on the left don't have enough signal energy for the iPhone.
Anyway, try using a different USB port, and if that doesn't work, perhaps you could try a powered USB hub.

BEWARE of using stopwatch or timer in iphone 5 under iOS7. As the mili second digit ticks really fast, in a matter of minutes, it will break your LCD under that mili second area. It happened to my iphone5. Let me know if you have same issue.

You two are obviously talking about the LCD pixels being killed. What exactly does it look like?
How many minutes are you talking about, 2 to 3, 5 to 7 or more?
Where was the brightness control at for the both of you?

Final Issue Check box ticked still PR does no get deleted

Even after ticking the Final Issue check box for a material whose Procurement Parameter is (Requisition + reservation for WBS element ) the requisition does not get deleted. It is still showing up in Md04 transaction. Can anyone let me know the reason. Waiting for your feedback.

Hi Harsh,
If the PR is already created, Please go to the PR and in the line item Quantity/dates tab, please tick "Closed". then the requirement should go off from MD04.

Sleep issue and hard disk tick?

I have been noticing a single tick everytime i put my iMac to sleep manualy. Also a while after it does it again about twice in a row (maybe when it is done falling asleep completely? lol) Anyways, this bothers me since it is a brand new 27 inch iMac and I fear it has a hardware problem. I dont exactly know when it started, or even if it has been doing it a lot. But it came to my attention when i started diagnosing my computer on a dialy basis to make sure everything is ok. Now, I also have this problem with a WD Passport External HD. When I connect it to my iMac it recognizes it just fine, but sometimes out of nowhere it starts beeping and when I try to open it from the iMac, the beach ball starts spinning untill i eject it. Notice that this does NOT happen when i connect it to a windows computer. At least i havent noticed. And this is a little strange, but when i grab the HD and flip it, it STOPS beeping! and it goes on to do the usual time machine backup. I bring this issue up because i read somewhere that the external hd could be causing the tick as i put my iMac to sleep, and also because it bothers me how it only has happened to me in this iMac and not on my parents windows computer. Maybe a compatiibily issue? Also i would like to run a hardware test but I cant seem to find an option. Thanks everyone! I hope i can resolve my problem without having to take my computer to an apple store.

By the way, other than this two issues, my iMac seems to be completely fine, exept for the fact that when i wake the iMac from sleep it makes some type of humming noise as if it was booting up (someone tell me if this is normal) and it also tells me that it couldnt find my network but at the same time i go on safari and can use it just fine. Weird

I have recently installed Indesign CC (I had the CS 5.5). I have some issues in doing simple things such as fill in a forma created with the pen either with a color either with an image. The image is there but is invisible. same issue when I want to draw a line. Impossible to color the line and when I increased the thickness, it was creating a sort of wrap around the shape. have you ever encountered this kind of issue ? Thanking the community for his help.

I have some issue in JFreeChart axis tick unit rendering

Hi,
I am using JFreeChart to plot some performance graphs.
The problem it is plotting the graphs correctly. But the x-axis tick unit is approximated.
Instead of displaying 29000, 36000, 43000... It is showing 30000, 40000, 50000...
What is the solution?

Open commitments though Delivery complition ticked for PO.

Dear Experts,
I am facing a very strange issue.
We have a PO with 10 line items all items are alike except line item 9/10 where unit of measure is EA (each) and for others it is D (days). (account assignment catagory as Project, in the account assignment WBS element, Commitment item, Funds center, Fund are maintained, and it is same for all line items),
All the items are ticked for del.complition. So apperantly these items should not appear as open commitments in Funds consumption report,
First Eights lines (which have unit of measure as D) are not appearing in Fund consumption report but the last two line items 9/10 (with unit as EA) are appearing as open commitment in Funds consumption report.
I just changed the unit of measure of line item 8/9 to D from EA and saved the PO. After this i run the Funds consumption report and to my surprise the line items 8/9 are not appearing as open commitments.
I am not getting how come Unit of measure is playing role in Funds consumption.
Can somebody help me understand.

This reply is more of a guess work than otherwise:
Commitment seems to be created with unit of measure as D, possibly because that is the base unit of measure. EA could be alternate unit of measure which is entered in the PO. When you set delivery completion indicator, commitment is removed to the extend of EA rates (reason note known - possibly due to corrections in PO subsequently from D to EA. You can check the PO change history in this regard)
To further understand the issue, you can verify the value of commitment with D & EA from table COOI by passing the object number with and without delivery completion indicator. Alternatively, you can use transaction RKACSHOW to see the changes in commitment with differing units of measure and with / without delivery completion indicator.
Please post the results after trying out.

Issue in Planning file entry creation for materials

Hi all,
There are some materials for which there are no planning file entries inspite of having MRP data and valid MRP type.
The reason (1) could be that those materials might have been created before MRP was activated for that plant. Another reason (2)is that materials created by certain batch SAP programs do not trigger the creation of a planning file entry automatically, the way a MM01 normally does when you create a material. Otherwise when a material is created with MRP data & valid MRP type, the material will be automatically included in the Planning File.
Please let me know whether my understanding on the above( reason no.1 & 2) is valid or not. Is there any SAP / OSS document / SAP help related to this information on reason (2) that you can share with us? If you could share any link of any such document, it will be really helpful.

Reason could be
System will maintain the Planning File Entry Automatically once MRP is activated for particular Plant (T.Code OMDU).But if Materials are created Before this activation then you have to do manual entry of those Materials in Planning File using T.Code MD20 or using Background job MDBT.
If you create the materials or upload materials before activation plant for MRP this may be the cause for this.
Go to OMDU here is tick mark for plant activation for MRP if you activated after material master creation then system will not create planning file entry for these material.
In my case every thing was maintained than also no planned order generated? Pls put some more fact on this.
Before running MRP we used to run MDRE. But in the result spool list there is no content
Create the variant and run it in Back ground
For this you need to you need to create the variant for planning file entry and its consistence check in OMDU and execute it to avoid such type of issue.

How To Active batch Determination at the time of issue the goods

Inventory managment Search Procedure --> YB001
Allocation IM Search Procedure -->> 261assigned to YB001 along with Active "Check batch"
In MBC1....for Search Startegy YB01 , for combination of Movement Type/Plant/Material ,materil assignement made as
material 40100
No. batch -999
Changed Allowed : Check
Uom : B
Mproposal : Active
Material Master of raw Material 40100
Material Master batch Management tick active
Classifcation view : Class As Shelf life
Characheirstics :Remaining Shelf Life
Now i have cretaed prodcution order of 10 qty ..
I have Four Batches With Differnt Life is available in Stock...
Now i want to see this Four batch at The time of Issue so that i can select one of the batch for issue..
Right now i m not getting Batch determination ..
What else i have to do ...

Have you created the sort rule in ACU70 with LOBM_VFDAT?
Have you assigned the sort rule in MBC1?
Also check Implementation Guide for R/3 Customizing (IMG)-- Logistics u2013 General-- Batch Management--Batch Determination and Batch Check -->Batch Search Procedure Allocation and Check ActivationAllocate IM Search Procedure/Activate Check
Assign for 261 mov type - YB0001.
Same need to assign in OPL8 also please try and come back.
