Tiff bug in CS6 suite

Hi,
There is a big bug in the CS6 , tiff file format have change, and when i generate a tiff file ( flaterned image with alpha layer) in photoshop CS6 or after effect CS6,
the alpha layer can not be used in indesign CS5, i need to open my tiff in photoshop CS5.5 and save it agin to get a working image.
If i open the image generate by CS6 ( photoshop or after) in photoshop (any version) or indesign CS6 alpha layer is working fine, but not in the previous version of indesign ....
If someone have an idea, a solution or a patch, it's can be a good help .....

Yes, but photoshop CS5 and indesign CS5 work perfectly together ... Tiff create with PS CS5 was good for use in ID CS5 with alpha channel and was working fines... so it's was not really a big bug because it was working
But now, it's a big problem , because i've a lot of client that are working with indesign CS5 and i'm working with CS6...So when i delivre my images, they can't use it in ID .... Do you know a solution to export tiff images from AE or PS CS6 (with alpha channel) that are compatible with ID CS5 ?

Stroke Bug Illustrator CS6

I contacted Adobe in June 2013 about a problem with the stroke profile items. I was told that there would be an update available and no updates were available. Will this be fixed anytime soon? Is it fixed in CC? In my photo I show the same exact stroke with different profiles applied. I have yet to find any efficient work arounds. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks!

I have all the required recommendations for Illustrator CS6
But regularly Illustrator will not start or it cuts abruptly, the following message appears:
"A problem caused the program has stopped working correctement.Windows will close the program and tell you if a solution is available"
Do you have any recommendation of use to avoid this problem?

I have called and been told that "technicians at adobe" could perform a paid service to find out what the files were created in and get them to be useable in InDesign 6, but I'd need an email address that was registered to our software to give the help desk person. After finding the correct email address, different adobe help number people told me to come here to ask as there is no phone support. Can anyone get me to an adobe technician that can provide a price quote for finding out what created these files and for getting them converted? Thanks.

Sorry, I understood you to say you had the whole CS6 suite, which includes Illustrator.
As far as finding out what the files are, sometimes you can look at them in a text editor to figure this out. See below; the, Creator Tool line. Not every software package makes it this easy, though.

Laptop for Premier Pro CS6 (and CS6 suite)

We are wanting to either purchase the CS6 suite which includes Premier Pro CS6, or get a subscription to the Creative Cloud. Our quandary is that I need a new computer to get up to specs. Although building a desktop would probably be ideal, I would like to get a laptop that I can use for other purposes during the work day, and for editing short videos when needed (5-20 minutes in length). Can someone school us on the feasibility of using either a new macbook pro (i7, 8GB Ram, 1GB video) or a new Dell XPS 15z (Win7, i5, 8GB RAM, 1GB GT 525M video) and if anyone is successfully doing this... or if anyone tried it unsuccessfully. Can Premier Pro, specifically, run on these laptops with no problem? Do i need to use additional harddrives (oerhaps a thunderbold external)?

....consensus on this forum is to STAY AWAY from Dell and Mac......editing today's demanding codecs requires a beefy, well thought out laptop suited for the task. Some beefy gaming laptops from Asus have the necessary components, along with MSI , Sager and others,
ADK has laptops set up and tested specifically for video editing. Read the current and previous posts here on this forum regarding your question....it has been asked innumerable times before!! Before you "jump in the water" there is much to learn on this forum regarding the technical requirements to successfully edit digital video using PPro....especially from Harm Millard, Bill Gehrke, Eric and Scott at ADK, and others.

Java Embedding bug in SOA Suite 11g BPEL??

I am beginning to wonder if there is a 'bug' in the SOA Suite 11g, BPEL, Java Embedding activity? Need some help as soon as possible – does the Java Embedding activity work in SOA Suite 11g?
Have tried the following on Jdev 11.1.1.1 and Jdev 11.1.1.3 – get the same error message (see below for error message).

I created a simple composite app by:
1.     Created a Composite with BPEL Process
2.     Created a BPEL variable by the name of Variable and a Simple Type of string      ({http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema}string)
3.     Added an Assign activity (Assign_1) and assigned the value of “Test Var” to the variable Variable using a Copy operation.
4.     Then, after the assign activity, added a Java Embedding activity (Java_Embedding_1) with Java Version set to 1.5 and the following code:

Java Embedding bug in SOA Suite 11g BPEL??

Acrobat X Pro won't open at all after installing on new computer. Please help! It is from the CS6 Suite

Hi, Can anyone help me? I had to change my computer, so I re-installed my whole CS6 Suite. Everything works except my Acrobat X Pro... It won't even open!! I am using a Windows 7 PC ... I even had Dell try and help me... the only thing they where able to do was help me be able to see .pdf docs in Reader! But I can't open a document, or create one, block sensitive info, nothing!

Hi Lisley56, I found the solution there is a Plug in for Acrobat X Pro that came with Adobe Suite CS6... I downloaded it and that did it!!! It's called "Acrofix". Try looking it up in the Adobe website!!! I hope it works!!

AI into InDesign possible in CS6 suite???

Does anyone know if InDesign is able to import AI files in the CS6 suite? I have been looking at the PDF2ID converter but that is only compatible with CS5.5 per their website. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Bummer. Two things I dream of in my life. Me winning the lottery and InDesign importing AI project files. Some day... Some day...
I contacted PDF2ID and they advised me that perhaps, maybe they will have a compatible version of their product coming out in August 2012 that will work with the CS6 suite.
Anyone know of good Interactive PDF programs other than InDesign since it does not import AI project files?
I am not going to copy and paste in all image files from my AI project file. You can get that out of your minds right now!

Can't use my Creative in Design CS6 suite or Acrobat xi error 16

cant use my CS6 Suite or any adobe product (Own all products not on cloud) since upgrading to Maverics.
Tried Fix

Does nothing as all the other posters stated.
Tried removing entire suite per Adoboe removal instructions and adobe removal tools and cleaners. Re-installed products and activated.
After you reboot NONE of the products work.
Called Apple and Apple stated it was a Adobe licencing issue and to contact adobe for patch or fix.
Adobe has no patch or fix! The one posted does nothing.
Please advise how to get all my adobe CS6 products and Adoboe Acrobat XI pro running without error 16.
They do not in Maverics. No one in the forums answers.

You are mistaken. You can still make forms.
However
- there is a new additional service called Form Central you can use instead
- forms made in LiveCycle Designer cannot be edited

Pushing CS6 applications to existing CS6 suite users

If an Adobe CS6 Production Premium user requests Adobe InDesign CS6 or Adobe Acrobat Pro X (neither of which are included in the Adobe CS6 Production Premium suite), the license file used by the suite would be overwritten by the license file used by the individually licensed application.
What is Adobe's best practice for handling these kinds of requests so we don't break CS6 suites when deploying individual CS6 applications? Especially as the individually licensed application is not part of the suite the user currently has installed.

Ok so you have downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant. If you go to your download folder can you run the exe from there? You may also want to try using a different web browser.

CS6 suite - cannot open acrobat to activate it.

I have the CS5.5 suite and the CS6 Suite.
I upgraded from CS5.5 learning edition to CS6 Pro.
Now I am trying to print things to a pdf but although everything else is registered - Acrobat keeps saying it is not activated.
I went into the AAcrobat folder and tried to run the Acrobat.exe but it just does not open.
How can I open it to activate if it will not open..

Not sure. This is an activation issue as I recall, but there are some strange things that happen with the Creative Suite that appears to be what you have. Some of the others that have had the problem will hopefully be by. In the meantime, do a search of the forum for CS or such.
